Kai drove the group to the cabin, a wooden cabin owned by Louie von helson which he borrowed to spend his Christmas with Serge. He had send the minions to clean the house, and the road, so it wasn't a bump road. They didn't talk much o their way there, mostly caching up. Ama-chan having problems with a man that seems to be her old owner. Kitty Aiden leaving bounty to th side to stay with Kai. Kitty having a boyfriend. Kai having an annoying client that begged for a drawing from a game.
When they got there, Kai and th minions took the things in, and he let Serge carry the kitties inside. The wounds on Kai's arm and back were halfway healed, but the bottom ones weren't so he walked slowly, "I brought enough food for a couple of days. If you want to enjoy the open air."
He brought in the last box and placed it on the table, "We're alone...finally..." he smiled. Finally, he felt at ease.

Kai didn't say anything, his face almost blank as Serge talk. He didn't know what to say, since all that he was saying was already roaming his head for some time now. He kept his jacket on, holding it tight, "My wounds heal by themselves. I don't need to clean them. The only way I keep scars is if he had holy hands, and he doesn't," he grabbed Serge's hands and kissed them, "I'm leaving to face Vincent...and because I want to go to my villa...to my parent's graves....There's a lot of unfinished business back home..." He moved to the boxes to start unpacking. His transformation was dangerous, painful and there was a high chance he would've stayed dead. He trusts serge is strong, but he didn't want to take a chance, especially to make him feel the pain he did. He sighed at the thought of it, "If...I bite you, and transform you, there's a 60% chance you won't make it...A normal vampire transforms immediately, for us is a struggle. You must want it so bad you have to claw your way out of hell, literally." he was placing the food out, now taking out the gingerbread house and other festive things. He wanted it to be Christmas.

Kai looked at him, "Around four to five months...It's seeing my family, but also dealing with Vincent's henchmen. I also found out I have five demonic brothers, so I will probably have to deal with them first...and many other things...like Vincent probably moving through countries to stay a foot ahead of me..." He took off the jacket and unbuttoned his shirt and took it off. He showed he had bandages on his shoulders and arms, but also on his waist and legs, even if he couldn't see them, "I'm soiled, yes...and he will keep doing this if I don't stop him. I can't spend a lifetime of mine followed by him. He uses the fact of my death against me, and I can't let him do that..." Kai touched his face softly, then moved his fingers down to his neck. He wanted to taste his blood, but with Serge thinking of transforming it wasn't a good idea, but he was drained from blood from his wounds, and tired, "Let me spend my years with you without a monster trying to claw me away from you..."

kai sighed, not really kissing him much, or touching him, or doing anything romantic of any kind. He was scared he was going to do something stupid, like bite him. They needed to talk to him about that decision a bit more. Kai kissed him once, "Merry Christmas," he placed something in his hands. The scissors, "As much as I want to tie you down and do what I want with you, weren't you suppose to mend my wounds?" he said with a serious face, blocking Serge from what he was going to do. "I thought you were a good nurse..."

Kai smiled as Serge was cleaning the wounds. He felt like someone, finally was taking care of him, and that made him feel so happy. Like if this was his special Christmas present. Kai was going to tell him how happy he was he would do this, and how much he cared when Serge walked away. He adjusted his pants, trying not to move much, his waist still in much pain, and he got up. He knew their relationship was in rock bottom, by his attitudes, and the circumstances. He didn't know what to do. He followed his lover to start unpacking, taking things out of the boxes, folding the boxes and leaving them in a corner of the room, then stacking everything inside. He spoke while doing this, "You know I'm from Spain. I was raised by a wealthy family, and I worked very hard to show my Father I was a worthy son to run the wine farm, since he, a catholic man, considered his gay soon to be broken and not worth to inherit it. I was transformed the year my Father trusted me enough to be given the right to the wine farm. Vincent turned me when we were having an intimate moment, the reason why I'm so sexually active. I have had to fight with everything, as a demon, and a once human. I have never relied on anyone's help, because I was too horrifying to be provided with one. The last thing I want in my life now, is to think that something good in my life will slip from my fingers..." he placed some plates out, "I need to take care of Vincent so I can be happy with you. I want you to stay always with me...and...maybe eternity...but I don't want you to take rash decisions for my part. This is something important...and..." he placed the plates away, not knowing how to explain himself, "Being with you is important, but leaving your human soul, and your chance to get into Heaven to be with me, is too much of a burden for my soul to bear..." he said, showing that kai was once catholic too, and his own pain of losing the gates to Heaven.

Kai turned around and hugged him, almost picking him up from the ground, "You're such a girl, Serge. I'll love you even if the world ends. I have never stopped loving you. I have hid things, yes, hoping it wouldn't hurt us, because I love you too much..." he let him go and wiped Serge's tears by kissing his eyes, "When the trumpets sound and this world ends, we will still be together, and our love will never change... we'll work out the eternity part later...There's a lot of time for that," he kissed him and hugged him again.
