Isabelle Apparently to get the second item (the holiday bag of toys) you have to get it gifted from some NPC elves. It's kind of a pain because they're basically just mods in rotation who log into these accounts to gift people - and they seem to have a criteria? Because hardly anybody has gotten it and the elves have only said to "be patient". They'll gift it in the form of a gift from Rina with a note attached or something. I've done everything I could think of to get their attention, lol. Wrote letters to the elves and Santa, added them as friends, posted positively in the forums, but no luck yet. Come on guuuys. gonk I've been good! Someone said something about - if you send them a super cheery PM you get one (I sent them one of those christmas letter things - so I'll see if that works) xD

Naito_Mitsukai Isabelle Aoife I already did some gifts, but wouldn't mind doing an exchange. I like the events too, mainly for the items, and I like getting the Christmas sets every year. I think I am missing a year though. I have been changing my clothes to different Christmas clothes every day until then, just for fun.I wish I didn't' like dressing up this silly avy so much, but I do! redface redface Yeah the event items seem to just get better with time! I think the only xmas item set I didn't really like was the zurg one where you got all that cow and alien crap. While the story was hilarious, the items weren't that good for me. Omg I know what you mean about the dressing up thing. Sometimes I'll have the change avatar screen open forever (like embarassing long) trying to find something cute to wear. *rofl* Me too. rofl heart

I think I have to pass this year, this month is always busy but this year it is SO busy I'm getting too stressed and I'm weary to add one more thing to the list. sweatdrop Next year though! And I love that you're organizing all of this! heart

I added some gold shop items to my wishlist heart
So this afternoon I've been posting in a gift-the-person-above-you thread and it's super addicting! I'm just debating about whether or not to save the gifts till Christmas to have stuff to open then too. xd

I have very little gold on me thanks to gifts getting eaten by gaia's gift system and having to be replaced. But I guess I hesitantly will throw myself into the mix, count me in.

When are we doing this, and how does it work? I don't recall doing this before, but I am certain whenever I have been around I've always gifted stuff...
I am finding that gift the person ahead of you thread too much fun, but it's rapidly depleting my gold. blaugh
So when do we find out more?

Well, once we're pretty sure we've got all the names we'll be getting We need to decide on a spending limit Then everyone PM's me filling out this: Quote: Items you might like with in budget: Do you want art: Favorite gaia minishops (if any): Do you think we should reveal santas at the end. Yes/No?: Then I make a list, and PM everyone with who they're buying for. If there are any problems, or if after 2 weeks, someone hasn't received their gift - they PM me, and I'll help figure it all out. smile Once everyone's gotten their gifts - if there are more 'yes's than 'no's for the secret santa list - I post a reply to this thread in white text on who got who (so if someone doesn't want to know, they don't have to). xD If there are more 'no's than 'yes's - then that's the end of it biggrin Any other questions? biggrin

Well, you could probably post the Santas at the end in white regardless, unless everyone happens to say no, right? If nothing else, if anyone especially doesn't want their name revealed, you could even do a partial list? (Though if only one person chooses that, I suppose it would kind of make it obvious who's missing...)

Haha, omg that thread...I was down about 70k by the end of it. xd It's fun, but I find a lot of people (well everybody that was under me at least, lol) were kinda cheating and sending things less than 100g and a lot of trash items. Um...thanks for the flowers? gonk
