Vahn should have expected the kid would take his so called insults as normal conversation. His ears twitched and sank as the conversation wore on, his grumbles going rather unheard in the depths of his throat.
"Nuthin. Sittin. Waitin for my Dad to realize it was a stupid idea to leave me here." The teenage wolf boy muttered, chin in hand, his glares meeting the eyes of all who dared to stare at him in his predicament. Yes, walk faster. He'd scare them with his gaze alone if he wasn't able to bark at them. Damn kid. Damn Donovan. Vahn just wanted to sit in the living room and watch TV like always. Why did that blue haired idiot insist on screwing up a good thing?

Fremere hummed a little tune while he brushed when they weren’t talking. He paused to look back up at Vahn again.
“Aww I don’t think its stupid!” The boy exclaimed. “I’m happy you came out! I was able to meet you!” He grinned then brushed out some more of his tail. “You can’t make friends unless you get out!” Obviously the boy was not aware that Vahn was simply tolerating him right now. Oh to be living with rose colored lens on!

Wow. This kid is pretty dense. Vahn's eyes twitched, rolling into the back of his head. Let it eeeend... Vahn almost thought to himself that he would stop complaining about Donovan if he could just be rid of this child. But then that was just silly. Donovan would never hear the end of his bellyaching. Never.
"That's why I don't go out, actually." He snapped back matter of factly. "If I don't go out, that's less people able to bother me. Its a beautiful system. A system Donovan decided to ruin today by dragging me out of the house." He grumped again, a severe grimace on the ever grouchy teens mug.

Fremere was doing the finishing brushes as he continued to listen, his brow furrowing ever so slightly at the grouchy teen’s words.
“But…friends are awesome to have!” The boy was able to comeback with his enthusiasm still. “All kinds of new people…people who like to do what you do…people who can show you things you don’t know…talking and playing with people!” Fremere grinned as he finished brushing the tail, finally, and tucked his brush back into the bag. He ran his fingers over the silk-like tail now and wiggled. “…It’s awful to be lonely!”

Did this kid just not get that this was a very big bad wolf he was dealing with? Vahn growled in the back of his throat, almost scoffing. "I highly doubt I'd get along with anyone like me or opposite of me. It all sounds high maintenance. I like being alone." Muttered the grouchy teenager. Why was it everyone found it odd? They were all the odd ones! Always sucking face, or being loud! Weirdos! Why the constant need of companionship?
Vahn felt the pause in brushing, and stood up. The kid was done. Done. And he was doe with him. The only reason he was there with the snot nosed brat to begin with was because his brush had been stuck in his tail. He flicked his untangled tail about for a bit, glancing at the shiny, silky fur he no longer recognized. "Finally." He muttered, glancing at the kid. "I know what I'm buying now." Vahn walked away from the fountain, making no attempt to say goodbye to the hyperactive child thing.
He was gonna buy one of those brush things.

“I think its okay being alone every now and then.” Fremere continued on, not letting the wolf teen’s words get to him. The boy was convinced that one day, Vahn would make himself a really good friend, and if something really awesome happened, he would fall in LOVE. Sweet, wonderful love.
He stared up at Vahn as the boy started to walk away and hopped off the fountain to quickly dash over and give the teen’s mid section a tight squeeze in a hug. “Have a good day, Vahn-Matty! Can’t wait to see you again!” Luckily then the teen was released as Fremere went back to sit on the fountain where his guardian soon appeared after, ready to take them home.
