"Not mated." He confirmed, paws dancing a bit through the flowers. He was happy this female didn't seem to care that he was hyper. So many other foxes had eventually grown tired of his boundless energy, it was nice to find one that didn't mind.
*Ugh...crappy post is crappy. Sorry.*

Kea smiled as she looked at the fox, "That....that is good....I suppose....I mean...I don't think it is good that you are alone. No that would be mean. No I'm glad that you are free....in order to....Mm....Date? Perhaps....maybe...." Sighing heavily, Kea closed her mouth. She couldn't believe how badly she was stammering on like an idiot. It would be better to just shut up and not say another word. "Do you want to play hide and go seek?" She asked out of the blue, mostly to distract him from her previous rambles so he didn't run off scared.

Ripari chuckled a little and nuzzled her under her chin. "I can't believe I'm saying this, but...relax. Take a deep breath and calm down so you can think." Ripari told Kea.
"Yes, I would enjoy a game of hide and seek with you." Ripari replied. He touched his nose to her forehead. "You go hide, I shall seek."

"Mm...." Kea blushed, "I....I can...think...." she stuttered slightly as she leaned into him. She couldn't believe how fast her heart was beating. It felt like it was going to leap out of her chest. "Right....okay...." She smiled at him, "I will go hide.." Kea blushed, not that he could probably tell, then she turned and ran off into the forest looking for the perfect hiding spot.
Never having played the game before, she wanted her first time hiding to be just right. By that meaning that Ripari couldn't find her. Giggling she wiggled her way under a log, unknowing to her that her bright fluffy tail was sticking out in the open.

Ripari sank to his belly in the tall flowers and placed a paw over his eyes. "One...Two...Three...Four...." The pink fox counted slowly, giving the female plenty of time to hide herself from him. Not that that was going to work. He had the experience of chasing down two kits, one of whom was great at hide and seek. Popping up from the ground, Ripari found her scent trail and headed off after her.
Once he got to the forest, Ripari left the scent trail and used his eyes instead so that the game would be fair. Trotting further under the trees, he spotted Kea's tail pretty quickly. Grinning widely, he bounded off in the other direction. "Hmm, now where could she be? Here?" He ran a circle around a tree and shook his head. "No...not here."
Heading ever closer to Kea's hiding spot, he would pause and look behind or under an object, wondering aloud if she was in that spot or not. "No, not here." He said, shaking his head a bit as he drew it out of a ridiculously small hole that she would have never fit into. "Perhaps...under this log!" He said happily, pouncing on the bit of tail-fluff that was sticking out from under the hiding place. Ripari stuck his nose under the log and touched it to Kea's. "I found you, Kea." He all but purred at her.

"Mm....." She tried not to giggle. She thought that she had found the perfect spot to hide. Ripari could seem to find her. She was going to win! And it was her first time play ever. What a feat that would be, she thought to herself. Not that she was someone that liked to brag, but kea liked the idea that she was good at playing a game. Unable to help it she let out a small giggle as she watched his feet disappear.
But then she was caught off guard when his head poked into the log and Ripari told her he found her. "Mm....Nuuuu..." She whined comically, then giggled. She never got to be silly like this, it seemed that part of Ripari's hyperness was rubbing off on her. She couldn't remember ever feeling this happy in her entire life, this so out of character. She was so used to being the Elder and having to act dignified that now, being with Ripari, she wanted to act like a kit. "You did..." She rubbed her nose against his. "How did you find me...I thought that this was the most perfect hiding spot..." Her tail outside was wagging happily as she smiled at the male. Oh how was she ever going to go back to the trip leaving this male behind.

"Yeeessss." Ripari teased, smiling widely at her and thumping the ground outside the log with his tail. "And this would have been a pretty good hiding spot...if you had hidden all of you." He pointed out. Ripari drew back and pushed her tail fluff into the hole as well. "There. Now you're perfectly hidden."
Ripari dropped his head back under the log with her. "That's how I always found Janiiz. He was forever forgetting his tail when he hid. Kylar was better, but he forgot every once in a while too." Ripari said with another smile. "So now what should be play? Shall I let you have a go at seeking me?"

Kea looked at him confused, then watched him leave. "Ripari?" She felt her tail get pushed into the log and she could not help the blush that stained her cheeks. Had that been sticking out the entire time? Oh for goodness sake! He must think I am the worst hidder in the existence of hidders. Though it did make her feel better that his sons had done it as well. At least he was used to it then.
"Yes....I want the chance to come find you now...." She started to shimmy out of the log only to discover, she was stuck. Her eyes widened in shock and she slightly began to panic. "R...RIpari?" She looked at him and smiled nervously, "What would you say if I was...hypothetically....possibly....um...." She blushed once again, "Stuck?"

Ripari blinked at her for a moment before snickering gently. "I'm sorry, but...you're very cute." He said before backing up again. "Give me one second, I'll see if I can get you out." He called, looking at the hole. It looked as if the hole was created by the tree just falling over, then getting burried. That was good, it would make this easier.
Tail going a mile a minute, Ripari leaned down and grinned at Kea. "Close your eyes, Kea. I don't want to get dirt in them." Ripari stayed long enough to see she obeyed him before starting to dig right in front of her. He liked digging, it was great fun to spray dirt everywhere. Paws working in overtime, he eventually made the hole a little wider. "Can you get out now?"

"Cute? Me?" Kea looked at him and blushed a little harder. He thought that she was cute? That was a good thing right? She watched him disappear then say that he could get her out. Smiling, her tail wagged behind her. "You can....Oh...." She immediately shut her eyes and waited. She heard the rustling of dirt being shifted around but she waited not wanting to hinder his work. Finally when he spoke to her again she opened her eyes.
"I don't know....let me try." Kea started to wiggle her butt, and found that it was much easily to slid up the side of the log until she was fully out of it. "Ahhhh much better." She smiled and stretched then shook out her fur. "Perhaps I need to lose some weight." She joked as she looked at him. but then she got a more serious expression as she inclined her head to him, "Thank you Ripari..." Blushing slightly she nuzzled his neck then pulled away and looked at the ground.

"Yes, you." Ripari replied. He smiled happily and wagged his tail, getting his whole body into it, when she was able to climb back out again. He laughed happily and shook his head. "You don't need to lose weight. See how the log is resting against that bush right there? The weight of the log is settling, that's why it was easier to get in than out. The hole literally shrank."
Ripari paused and blushed a bit before smiling and returning the nuzzle. "Aw, you're welcome Kea. Come on, it's your turn to seek." He pointed out, touching his nose to hers.

"Right." Kea smiled as she looked at him, "I get to be the seeker this time. And I shall be the best seeker there is....well...at least I hope that I am better at seeking then I was at hiding." She blushed, hoping that the pink in her fur would disguise it. The last thing she wanted was for Ripari to know that he kept making her blush.
"So....i start to count yes?" She cocked her head to the side as she looked at him, "What number should I count too?" She sat down as she thought about it, "What number did you count too? Cause that will be the number that I count to as well."

"Count to ten. Slowly." Ripari replied with a smile and a wiggle. "And you have to close your eyes." He used his nose to gently close her eyes. "A~nd, I'll give you a hint. Use your nose." he said, quickly touching his nose to hers before flashing away to go find a hiding spot. He rushed back through the little clearing and found a tree with a low fork. Jumping up into it, he hid amongst the leaves, watching out for Kea.

Kea smiled as she closed her eyes, "Heh. One....Two...Three..." She shifted from side to side anxiously. She couldn't wait to get down counting and start hunting for Ripari. Honestly she didn't think she would be any good at it, but she was willing to give it a chance. It was fun at least, even if she didn't win, she would have fun hunting for him.
"Ten!" She called out and opened her eyes. A broad grin covered her face as her tail began to wag incessantly, then she darted out into the trees and looked around. "What was that he said? Oh right....Nose..." She smiled as she closed her eyes and sniffed the air for his scent. "Mm...Hehe...." Kea laughed, "Got it."

Ripari spotted Kea from across the clearing and smiled. Looks like she was following his advice and using her nose. He hadn't made it too hard for her, since it was her first time, but if she hadn't listened to him, she probably wouldn't have spotted him. For a bright, pink, fuzzy eyesore, he was pretty good at hiding.
Tucking his tail under his front paws, he watched the female looking for him, wondering how quickly she'd find him.
