"Who said you're doing it right?" Chase teased glancing at the boy as he tried to copy his previous movements, but with more difficulty than the candy haired boy had. He pushed off the wall, sending him over the edge and he landed in a crouch before standing. His legs trembled slightly from the repercussions of the jump and landing but otherwise he stood solidly.
At the other boy's question he frowned looking back at him. Then he shrugged strolling forward without a second thought. "Does it really matter?" He asked in reply not bothering to see if he was being followed. "Trust me, I know where I'm going and what I'm doing," he stated confidently interlacing his fingers and settling his palms against the back of his head.
"Coming?"

Nate was sure Chase knew what he was doing, but that didn't mean he was going to give the guy a break. He grinned a bit. It wasn't every day he met someone that wasn't boring and stiff, as most people didn't really like getting into trouble, much less running away from it. Nate, of course, thrived on it.
He clambered his way to follow, not making as graceful a show but certainly doing better than, say, his dad might have done. And not just because Tony was a clumsy idiot, but rather because Nate had some senshi-borne confidence to him. Even not powered up, he felt a cocky sense of being unbeatable.
Street parkour, however limited, wasn't going to get the better of him.
"Yeah, I'm still following you. Dunno why, since that guy isn't going to get over that fence, unless he barrels through it with his pure rage. But lead the way, Pinky."

Chase had the innate ability to scale fences and jump from relatively high spots with ease, though the years of practice had helped. He was a troublemaker, one that often got away by either fleeing or smooth talking his way out of it. He spent a lot of time running though, it was what kept him in shape despite his endless appetite.
"Looks like you still need some practice," he laughed watching as Nate followed his actions and landed beside him. "Does it matter if he's still following?" Chase bluntly asked even as his gaze turned back to the fence they had jumped from. "Besides, there's more than one way to get to this alley, just because he can't get over the fence doesn't mean he can't catch us," he shrugged as he strolled forward exiting the particular alleyway.
"We're going to cause more trouble," he stated proudly, tucking his hand into his pockets as he walked.

Nate huffed a bit at Chase noticing his less than graceful climbing skills. What did it matter how he got up and over things, so long as he didn't fall on his face or fail to do it? He wasn't a damn squirrel. He was going to comment on it, but he stopped himself.
If he said anything, it would just imply that he cared, which he didn't. Right?
"I guess it doesn't, though the whole running away thing generally means you can stop once you've lost whatever's chasing you. Unless you've just adopted running away as a general life strategy?"
The idea of the guy going out of his way to continue chasing them because he got hit by a golf ball was interesting. How angry a person would you have to be to do something like that? Nate grinned, wondering now if he would keep chasing, if he was hit with an obstacle he would have to take the long way around.
Probably.
"Oh are we? What do you have in mind?" he asked, interested but playing it off as cool. He hurried to catch up, falling into step just behind Chase. "More golf?"

Chase didn't gloat or even seem to really care about Nate's less than graceful decent outside of his 'practice' comment. Soon enough, if the taller, older boy spent enough time with him he'd be a master. Parkour was an acquired talent achieved by creating trouble and escaping successfully from it over and over again.
"Nah, we're not running away anymore, we're running to now," Chase retorted easily as he turned right out of the alley. He didn't specify where they were headed, he wanted to keep an element of surprise. "It has to do with climbing," he stated a slanted grin sliding across his lips. "We can do golf but it's unnecessary, though it would be quite entertaining in all reality," he commented thoughtfully thinking about the construction zone they were heading to.
It was relatively abandoned, because of the lack of interest in the developing area but most of the machinery was still there. He'd played a couple of his golf games on the scene, which was where he had first broken his arm. Whoops.

Nate paused for a moment, putting his hands on his hips. Another past time this Chase guy liked? He had to admit, he liked golf a bit more than running around for the sake of it, but he did love jumping from roof to roof whenever he was powered up. Or even powered down. This was a lot like that, only...
Fancier, he supposed.
He'd seen videos of guys doing crazy jumps and runs through cities on the computer, as well as in a few movies recently. It seemed to be a popular thing, and it did look really awesome when someone could do it. The problem was, Nate wasn't practiced or naturally adept, as far as he knew, and he would embarrass himself if he tried even a fraction of the stuff he had seen.
Seeing the construction zone, he had at least caught up on what they were going to be doing. He nodded his head, wondering if he could sneak his way out of actually having to try anything. He hated looking like an idiot in front of people, and did everything in his power to make things go his way.

Once they arrived at the construction sight it hadn't been difficult for the other boy to figure out Chase's plans for the rest of their day. Especially since he had caught sight of the guy stalking off angrily back to where ever he had originally been headed not too long ago. The boy had been smart to avoid actually looking at the man and had, at one point, flipped the hood of his jacket up to hide his colorful without offering Nate any sort of explanation.
Chase loved his black and pink hair but he would be the first to admit that it was what got him in trouble the most. It was easier to remember a kid with pink hair than to remember one with some sort of natural color. He refused to change it, even after arguing excessively with both of his parents that openly disapproved of his 'style' choices.
The teen easily strode up the scene of their next adventure, titling his head back to look at the top. "Ever heard of Parkour?"

Nate was fairly used to getting recognized by his hair, but at least frosted white tips were a bit more common than a shock of bright pink hair. At least if they were spotted breaking something or climbing where they weren't supposed to be, people might remember Chase a bit more clearly. If his hood was down, anyway.
Nate took a breath, looking at the construction site with critical eyes. He could do this. He was awesome, after all. Sure, he didn't seem to be naturally adept and he certainly hadn't sat down a studied those videos of guys leaping from buildings, but hey.
He wouldn't know until he really tried it.
"Yeah. I mean, I've seen some videos of it, and that's what the titles are," he grunted, moving toward the half built building with some interest on his face. He jumped at the skeleton of the north wall. There were many places to run and jump and do crazy, possibly bone breaking things from, including the in progress building, stacks of metal and sheets of building material, piles of dug up earth, metal tubes and pipes and the giant construction vehicles themselves.
"You're one of those spider monkeys, huh?"

Pink was sort of Chase's thing, at least when it came to his hair. Since he had left Knightside Elementary and move up in to Azure he had the pink feathered in to his hair, a trademark. Pink had even worked it's way into his accessories and daily clothing though he much preferred the neutral colors like white and gray instead.
He was not sure why but he liked it and it was something he'd probably keep for quite a while.
"It's not too hard once you get the hang of it, like the wall we jumped. That gets easier too," he replied, though it was pretty much a no brainer. "I learned a lot just from those videos, been trying a few different things lately," he stated proudly as he too ran forward but instead of stopping he ran at the skeleton, running up the side then back-flipping down and landing somewhat gracefully on his feet.
"If you've got time I can teach you some stuff," he offered. It would be nice to have a partner in crime would wouldn't ditch at the first sign of trouble like his stupid Azure friends.

Nate certainly wasn't one to duck out at the first sign of trouble, if he knew he could handle it, or if it was worth the risk to have more fun. His level of perception was a bit skewed as well, as it was rare to find a situation where a risk outweighed the promise of fun.
Hands on his hips, he watched as the pink haired guy ran up and flipped off of the structure, grinning and nodding his head. Yeah, he could do that, totally.
So he joined in, needing a lot of pointers, which he did and didn't listen to in his way. He was never good about training, in civilian life or as a senshi, unless he justified it as something else. Since this was having fun and doing something they were definitely not supposed to be doing, he didn't mind practicing moves until he got them mostly right. His confidence paid off, though he certainly wasn't as graceful as he should be.
He didn't even notice as time slid by.
