Stupid b*****d! Swallow her pride?! Oh, she'd rip his ears off! Hmpf, like hell she woul- Ow ow ow. Her paw hurt. Reluctantly she leaned into the male, tail flicking rapidly and wildly. She swallowed any insult she was about to hiss out and forced herself to rely on this male, on this male that seemed to adore making her life a living hell. Bastarddddd.
"Happy?" She groaned, eyes narrowing at the male once more, though not in a hostile fashion. She felt demeaned at the moment. Was this the higher beings way of knocking her down a peg, or two, or many?

Xavier accepted her weight wordlessly, but when she spoke he rolled his eyes in response. "Why would I be happy?" He asked rhetorically. "I have an injured, snappy vixen leaning on me." As he said this, he lowered his shoulders and back a little more, so he could take on more of her weight. He then waited until she seemed comfortable enough to start walking again.
He slowly began to lead her to the direction of the river. It would take a few minutes, but there wasn't much he could do to speed her up. Somehow, he really didn't feel like putting her through any more pain, though just a few moments earlier he insisted that she could handle it.

He was helping her, and all she was doing was snapping. The red and yellow vixen sighed, ears flicking against her head. Maybe she should be nicer. She wasn't this bitchy usually, she was often flirty, but it hurt! She bit the inside of her cheek, grumbling deep in her throat before glancing up at the white, blue, and black male. He looked the complete opposite of her. The horned-vixen grumbled again, deciding to swallow her pride.
"Thanks." She mumbled, tail flicking side to side. "For helping me."

Xavier smiled. Somehow it wasn't a smug, arrogant smile, but a sincere one. "It's nothing," he just said, knowing he didn't really deserve it, since he had been giving her a rough time earlier. "I... apologize... for being difficult earlier." Xavier didn't know what had possessed him to say that. He was certain Lillith hadn't expected, or intended to ask for, an apology. He just... felt compelled to. For whatever reason.
It didn't really matter. He continued on in silence, it wouldn't be long now.

She shook her head, quietly grumbling. "I was the difficult one." She murmured, tail flicking side to side. "So, sorry...I guess." Oh this was difficult, apologizing to the male! She frowned, hearing water in the distance and raising her head, smiling.
"I think we're almost there." She said happily, pleased that she could stop this awkward....awkward what? He was making her feel strange. Hell, he had made her apologize! Sheesh, who was she anymore?! An idiot, probably.

Xavier shook his head, but didn't say anything more on the subject. Had he continued, the male foresaw yet another ridiculous argument about who was the more difficult one. Thinking that would cause too many problems, he remained silent.
Lilith spoke again, and he nodded in agreement to what she said. Finally, they could see the river through the trees. He moved out from that... supporting position when he got her to the edge. Now she could just dip her paw in whenever she felt it necessary. Xavier was tempted to say that to her, to tell her to lie down, clean off the wound, keep it off he ground. But she probably knew that already, so he didn't bother.
"I can..." He began, unsure where to go with this. He was about to suggest that he stay with her until her paw healed. But Xavier wasn't sure how the vixen would take that. He still would, but he wasn't going to say it. Finally he decided on what to say. "... go get those herbs now, while you sit here," he finally continued.

Lilith nodded, wiggling away from him and resting onto her side and beginning to clean the wound, letting him go off and do as he wished. She looked up at him, nearly about to make him promise he'd return before scoffing at herself and licking her paw once more, placing it over her paw to keep the paw free from the excess weight. Of course she knew what to do, but sadly, she was unable to due to her...well...problem.
"I will be here. Obviously." She mused, almost sarcastic, however managing to hold her tone into a light and mild annoyance. When she could walk again she's smother the male. Yes, it would make up for her acting so....strange.
