On one paw, it was a risky endeavor, trusting any stranger- let alone a deity of such an unpredictable element.. on the other paw, what better opportunity would present itself staying here, where she didn't see anybody as worth her time? She only participated in feeding them because it was a necessity.
"I have some things that need taking care of before I can go," she said, rather than explicitly accepting his invitation. She didn't really need to say any goodbyes, she wasn't sure anybody would really notice or care.. but she couldn't disappear after what just happened. That would not be the perception she left behind.

Feh. Why did things always have to be 'taken care of'? Mortals and their fussy way or doing things. He gave her a long look, a little irritated that he was going to have to wait a bit longer.
"Fine," he answered calmly. "I'll wait for you, just call my name when you return near this spot." He let his body dissolve, though all he was doing was switching his invisibility up to max. More tricks, though this one always seemed to work the best. He'd find some place to nap for a bit, and hopefully she wouldn't take long.

His reaction was interesting but she didn't think too much on it. He was impatient but if she was going to disappear willingly, this wasn't the best note to leave on. She would not waste any time, though. She had been knocked around fairly good in the last duel but she would find another, better match and she would win. And then she could leave.
She didn't say anything else, once he disappeared she had to assume he was gone. So she turned around and headed back in the direction she had been coming from.
