Era & Sereni Era blinked in surprise as the Mew from a while ago showed up beside Mercutio. She supposed she should have expected it considering Stella had been there at the search for the previous journal page, but it still was a shock to see her appear again. Sereni on the other hand gasped with surprise but asked no questions, deciding it was the best course of action.
A large circle began to glow on the ground in front of them, and Era turned to Sereni. "If you want to go back it's alright," she said, "Guild missions can be very frightening, I know from experience. I won't hold it against you if you'd rather stay."
Sereni shook her head, a glint of pure determination in her eyes. "No, I'm not leaving you," she said to Era with a smile, "You can't go by yourself." Then she grinned and her lights shone brightly for a moment, "Besides, I'm mostly a Water Pokemon, so I can deal with fire, and keep us both from overheating."
Era smiling back, feeling too grateful for words. She was relieved not to have to go alone, no matter what she said. "Thank you," she said to Sereni, and together they both moved forward into the circle, ready to face the great unknown.

Atra && ShermanSherman stared at the circle nervously, not really trusting it all that much. What's it going to do? "What the hell are we fighting anyways?" Atra asked, more than little tad annoyed. It sounded like the Gallade knew, and the Flareon believed it was a good thing to know. He was a little irritated that they weren't getting all the info they should before they charge recklessly into battle. However, Sherman decided that was a good time to take his Leap of Faith and jump into the circle. CecilCecil followed. I don't know why I feel so uncreative with him today, I just do.

Kyanto, Shimmer, and Kaze Team Nightfall
The three clambered to the circle and grouped together, so that they took up the least room, though each of them were small anyways.
"Kaze, Shimmer, no matter what you do, abide by the guildmaster's rules, or you know the consequences..." the Eevee pup spoke, his moon-pattern glowing.
"Understood, sir!" Kaze spoke, though his smirk said different.
"Just as long as I get a piece of the action..." Shimmer said softly, winking at Kyan. He simply just looked away.

KaiyouOh bloody Hell..." Kaiyou muttered under his breath, moving through the crowd of moving guild members. Who's bright idea had it been to ask so many Pokemon to meet in such a cramped part of the hall, anyway? Probably the Gallade's. He didn't seem to realize just how large their guild was. He sighed heavily, waiting his turn to move into the glowing circle of light. Stella was.... unusual. He trusted her because Zori did. The Leafeon was excellent at judging character. However, he still felt a little nervous about leaping blindly into portals. He didn't know where he was headed, or to whom he was meant to fight; it was like fighting for Solaris all over again. Still, he didn't argue as he was impatiently nudged into the glowing portal, and his body vanished a split second later, cutting off his thought process entirely.

xxxx Andrew && ClaireAndrew tried to make his way through the crowd of pokemon. Madness didn't even begin to explain... "s**t, we're not late are we?" Claire shouted to her partner. "That can't be late, that would seriously suck." The larvitar couldn't help but roll his eyes at her. They were here, they were ready, and she needed to seriously relax. While she was freaking out, he scanned the area and saw that everyone seemed to be forming into a circle. "Come on." Andrew muttered and grabbed her by the scarf, almost dragging her in the right direction as she protested. He found this as the most effective way to get her to move. "Wait, we go in there? But what if-?" Claire looked in wonder. The larvitar basically pushed her inside the portal then followed after her. He thought about what she had heard earlier. A volcano where even the fire types would go and avoid.... except for one. Thank god he was resistant against fire types. Claire was also. It meant that they might actually have a chance of holding their own in this. Awesome. He looked over to his partner, so was shaking slightly. He could tell she was trying to hide it, but he wasn't sure if it was from fear or anticipation... knowing her, probably blank excitement. He smirked.

~Kewnew ~Kyle
"Kyah! Sorry I'm late..." Kewnew apologized without stating reason just yet as the Grovyle raced onto the scene of a ringing guild alarm. Naturally she was apologizing once she was at least in the presence of Rico; not too many others there once she had spotted the Charmeleon actually mattering. Without hesitation she stepped on the glowing platform, seeing no problem with the strange phenomena since that's where the rest of her guild was congregating. Sadly though the Grass type wasn't around for any of the previous announcements concerning the missions for the day that would probably put her specifically in danger. Short after one of her subordinates padded in; at least keeping things in balance with a good bit of luck opposed to her own; Kyle being a Fire type that would surely handle things just fine... Best no one bet money on him or anything though <_< >_>.

Kyanto, Shimmer, and Kaze Team Nightfall
The three split up and stood side-by-side, watching to see what enemy would appear. Kyan was growling and crouched to the ground, ready to bite whatever would attack his teammates.
"Calm down, it won't be that bad..." Shimmer spoke softly as she stood next to him, a faint red appearing in her orb. Kaze simply flapped upwards to check out what was going on.
"...I know that... I just don't want to see a member down on my watch..." he whispered, the same red appearing across his face.

PuerThe Rhyhorn held his stomach tight and gathered his breath into his lungs. His breath stopped and his eyes shut tightly as he experienced the always-so-disturbing shift in temperature and ground that came with the action. He shook off the effects in due time. Puer glanced at Mercutio, having overheard the comment. They sent someone in there, to lure him out of the volcano? " Brave someone." The comment, although seemingly spoken at Mercutio, was more a thought given word than anything. It wasn't meant to spark a conversation, although it certainly could.

xxxx Andrew && ClairePerhaps that excitement wasn't all that good for her. The sudden transportation, it upset her stomach just a little. "Oh man." Claire muttered, crouching over, trying to keep her body calm. "I'm alright, I'm okay." It was said half to herself and half to her partner. She'd be fine in a few minutes.
Andrew, who was looking up at the mountain in admiration, glanced at her and sighed. He brought arm up, slapped it to his forehead, dragged it down his face, and gave an awkward look with an exhale at the end. Behold, the mastered facepalm. "How do we know if he'll ever come out?" They'd be caught and the guild would never know. As much as he hated to admit it, he jumped at every large sound that came.

Era & Sereni Era and Sereni blinked their eyes several times to clear them from the sudden change of scenery and added sunlight. Mercutio and Pluto had been right: it was already very hot and they were a fair distance away from the mountain. Era looked around their vicinity, taking in the trees and the ocean surrounding the island. "It's almost a shame," she said, "If it weren't for the volcano here, this place could be lovely." The heat from the volcano was too intense for it to be considered beautiful scenery after all, and it was menacing with smoke billowing over it, threatening to spill over with blazing hot lava at any second.
Sereni nodded, also taking in the view, "It's true, it could be very nice, even if the volcano just wasn't as hot as it is." Turning to look at the water, Sereni became thoughtful, "I wonder where we are..." she mused, "I don't recognize the wave pattern here." Era glanced at her questioningly, and Sereni explained. "I've traveled through a great number of waters in my time, even though Mana Reef was my home, but I don't think I ever came to a place such as this. Normally if you are observant, even when you're deep below the water you can detect the wave pattern through the current, and this one is foreign to me."
Era nodded, not really understanding the concept as she was not a Water Pokemon. The Pichu's ears perked up as she heard Mercutio's comment about someone sent in ahead of them. "Who could it be?" she wondered aloud. "If even Slugma would be overwhelmed by the heat, who could they possibly send in who could stand it, and bring out whatever it is that we're going to fight?" Sereni shook her head, unable to provide an answer but returned her attention to the mountain once more. "Well, whoever it is, Era said determinedly, "We'd better be ready." Sereni nodded and together they braced themselves for the unexpected, which was certain to arrive sooner rather than later.

KaiyouThe Marshtomp stood alone, separated from the rest of the guild, as always. Aside from Aryan and his team, he didn't have any connections in the guild. He was just sort of... there. The Water-type's foot brushed the sandy soil beneath him, and he glanced down, feeling suspicious. He didn't know what fresh hell they'd been thrown into, but he was determined to handle it on his own. He was pretty damn glad he didn't have his Guildmates to fuss over this time around. He would not be happy facing off against whatever the hell it was with Zori curled up behind him. If she'd come, no warning in Hell would keep her from following her guild into battle. The thought made him feel positively nauseas. He exhaled impatiently, scanning the area between them and the volcano with a powerful blast of sonar. He wasn't sure who they'd sent in to get the beast, but he didn't envy them. The soft words of a nearby Rhyhorn distracted him, and the Marshtomp turned to look at the heavily-armored Rock-type. "Can't argue with that statement, my friend." The Water-type agreed in the same, muttered tone.

Atra && ShermanBarely three seconds on the other side of the teleport and Atra was already telling Sherman off for disrupting him while he was talking. Sherman just took the verbal abuse without much thought, fairly used to it. With a huff Atra hopped off his back and glanced around at the area. It felt...good. The air was warm, gentle against his fur unlike the air back at the guild that seemed to suck away at his heat with every step. The acrid smell of volcanic gases, the rich volcanic soil beneath his paws...he loved it and hated it at the same time. It resonated within him as a Flareon, especially as a Flareon that had evolved within the heart of a volcano. He was never meant to be a Flareon though. Though he had never completely decided on his Evolution, always telling himself to keep his options open, he had prepared himself to become a Glaceon almost entire life. His accidental evolution into a Flareon had taken that choice from him. Being so near a volcano, such a vivid reminder of this fact of his life, left him in a very bad mood. His ears flicked as he heard Mercutio's explanation, and with an exasperated sigh the Flareon trotted over to the Gallade so that there was no way the Psychic-Fighting type could miss him. "Tell us what the hell this damned 'it' is. Stop keeping us in the dark. I'd personally like to know what you've taken us to this Arceus-forsaken island to fight." The very irritated Flareon huffed. CecilUrg. Teleport. Right. Cecil's not very good with that. He should have thought this through when he stepped into the circle. Oh wait, Cecil, thinking things through? Ha! The first thing that happened was the complete disorientation that came with instantly being transported somewhere else. He was more ready for it this time though, and quickly placed his tail on the ground in a circle around him, as a wide "stand" of sort to hold him upright until his head stopped spinning. The Smeargle resisted the urge to curl up into a ball and widened his stance to better keep his balance. Carefully he slowly began to pick his tail up, losing its support. He was recovering quite fast, this being his 3rd teleport and he finally had his tail in hand. In a flash of light his tail had turned into a silvery blade, and he was ready for battle against whatever the heck they came here to fight. Once his head stopped hurting horribly.
