Boniface tilted his head. "I don't think the size of the forest would make much difference," he said, chuckling. "This one is quite big as it, and I haven't seen all of it." His territory actually fell into a shape almost like a spiral. From the time he was a kit he learned the small area that was their nest. Slowly he would go a little further past the borders, learn it, and then go further past that. Over his life he'd covered quite a bit of ground, but it was tiny in comparison with the size of the forest he lived it.
"Yes, there is a body of water. It sounds like a river, but I don't know. I don't really like getting in the water." Boniface ducked his head bashfully and continued walking, heading in the direction of the water.

"Oh.....well I guess that is true enough...." She nodded her head, then followed him, "It is a river....it's so cute and small...." She walked over to the edge and started to sip at the water, "Mmmm.....refreshing..." She smiled, then looked back at him. "I wouldn't imagine you do...I know many foxes that don't like to swim, or rather they don't know how to swim..."
Her tail whipped behind her as she rotated her head around until her neck popped. "Mmm....that felt good..." She smiled as she watched Boni. She could tell his eyes were blind, and yet when he looked her way she swore that he could somehow see her. She felt her cheek heat up for some reason, "Mm...." She cleared her throat, "So, how do you hunt Boni?" She asked interested.

Boniface listened to the sounded of Embry and the water. Occasionally one of his ears would swivel around to listen at others sounds. He tilted his head and grinned ruefully. "I've never tried. Water scares me a bit. I can't hear anything coming at me in it or under it, I can't sense things like I normally do. It takes away the feeling of earth and I can't tell which way is up. And it's hard to tell when I might step in a suddenly deep spot."
His eyes looked towards Embry, though they skimmed the land over her head. "I usually hunt small stuff. I just sit and listen. Rabbits will stop and thump at the ground a lot, which makes it easy to keep up. And if they retreat into their burrows it's only a matter of time before they have to come out. Failing meat I eat a lot of berries and such."

She listened to his explanation and after a minuted nodded her head, "Your right...that would be disorienting for you....I never realized how much i rely on my sight for everyday tasks...." She smiled. It always amazed her the things she learned from just being with Boni. It made her look at the world in a whole different light. Slowly she stood up and walked over to him, "You got to do what you got to do..." She smiled, agreeing with him.
"I sometime prefer to eat berries....I'm not the best hunter...." She blushed lightly, and was thankful he couldn't see. Truth be told, she wasn't able to sneak up quietly on her prey. She was even horrible at catching fish. She hung her head in doom, it was a good thing she didn't ask for the hunting position back home, she never would have been able to provide enough food to supply the tribe.

Boniface chuckled in a low tone. "Well I guess that makes two of us who aren't all that great at hunting. I do alright when I hunt, but the conditions have to be right for it." Another low chuckle. "I'd never made the position of hunter for a tribe, that's for certain.
Besides, there's nothing wrong with living off plants for the main part of your diet. Around this forest there's plenty of choices, depending on the season."

She smiled, "Would you even want to join a tribe?" She cocked her head to the side, "I didn't think that would interest you...." She used her tail fluff to tease the tip of his nose.
"I agree with that...I've survived just fine most my life on plants and berries..." She giggled, "I actually prefer the berries because they're sweet..." She smiled as his nose twitched, "I like sweet food....Mmmm....like honey.....honey is one of my favorite things to eat."

"And hard to get ahold of," Boniface replied, lightly nipping on the tip of Embry's tail. Though his hold was gentle it was also firm. And thus far he had no intention of just releasing it...

"Yes I know....Uh!" She gasped as she looked at him surprised, "You bit my tail...." she blushed as she tried to tug on her tail but it wouldn't budge. "Ohhhh......" She smiled as she leaned in and nipped at his ear gently. She didn't want to hurt him, but this playful side of him roused her own inner child, and she demanded a game.

Boniface went a little rigid when his ear was bitten. His ears were so important to him, and so very sensitive. It was akin to getting poked in the eye for those who could see. Boniface rarely allowed others to touch his ears.
He could feel her breath against his face so, in hopes of startling her enough for her to release his ear, Boniface ran his tongue over Embry's face in a slobbery kiss. Not the minor little lick, oh no! He did the bottom of the chin across the muzzle and up her face 'til he reached her bangs kind of lick.

"Mm!" Embry blinked surprised, then jerked backwards, "Blah....." She gave him a 'what the heck' kind of look. She had never been so thoroughly licked on the face before, and to be honest she was a little confused.

Boniface chuckled. He couldn't see the look Embry was giving him, of course, but he could tell from her tone of voice he had definetly surprised her. "My ears are a bit sensitive," he replied, by way of explanation and apology.

Embry blushed, "I was just.....a little surprised....No one has ever licked me on the face before besides my mother when i was little..." She looked down, then back at him surprised, "Oh! I....I didn't hurt you did i?" She panicked, "I....I didn't even think that it might hurt you."

Boniface shook his head. "No, it didn't hurt or anything. My ears are just really sensitive to touch. All of me is, but my ears in particular. And they're my main way of interacting with the world around me. Think of it as akin to someone poking you in the eye. It probably won't do damage, but you're terrified you'll lose an important sensory retainer." He chuckled. "I'm not that dramatic, but I do prefer others ask before touching."

She nodded her head, "I will endeavor not to....'poke you in the eye', metaphorically at least...." She smiled, "I'll be sure to ask for permission before i touch your ears again......likewise to the face slurp please....." She blushed even harder. Her heart was beating rapidly, so hard in fact that she was sure it would pop out of her chest. That 'slurp' had gotten to her more then she realized. "Are we......still okay?" She looked at him meekly, hoping she hadn't offended him in any way.

"I don't know, are we," Boniface asked, head tilted. Even a normal fox could have heard Embry's heart beating, loud as it was, but to Boniface it was quite loud and obviously here. He'd either startled her, embarassed her, or both.
