Kyuzaku met up with the architect only a minute or two later. Together, they stood inside the Temple, where the architect lectured Kyuzaku on the placement of support beams. "First," he said, "You must get some tools and create a notch in the beam you'll be placing it in. The notch must be eight centimeters by eight centimeter by eight centimeters. On each pole is an insert of this exact size. When placing in the beam, you must get the piece into the hole. From there, you will need to (somehow) get the pole upright at ninety degrees. As you can probably tell, this is going to be difficult, considering that from one diagonal to the other is slightly longer than the length of the piece. However, you're a ninja, so I don't doubt that you'll figure out something. Let me remind you that you have to do this very quickly. Pushing up the structure for too long could cause unknown structural issues, such as cracking or splintering, which could cause long-term issues. In a normal situation, we might remove the guts of the structure, and replace the entire thing, but the situation here is a bit different. Due to sheer size and weight, deconstruction then reconstruction through replacement is impossible, not without destroying the building. You'll have to do this seven more times before you're finished for the day. Lucky for you, we have a few more ninja running around, doing things like the tiling, roof, and repairing rotten wood." The architect reached his hand all the way up to pat the shark man's shoulder, "Think of it this way, you've got the most important job. Everything rides on you, boy. No pressure though."

Kyuzaku gulped, "Yea, thanks a lot... Where is the first rod?" He was pointed to a freshly cut wood chunk. Nearly fifteen feet long, and a foot around, the pole was massive. At one end, the pole had the insert like the architect had said. That had to into a notch that he'd yet to cut. Kyuzaku walked around, and saw a red X on the ceiling, signaling where his cut had to be. Kyuzaku stared at the X and sighed, "Why haven't I learned the wall walking jutsu yet... I'm going to need a ladder..." Down from his own incompetence, he left the temple in search for a ladder to use.

Sorain shrugged his shoulders at his brothers question, "Cleaned up the streets abit, talked to this chick who was working at a saki shop, then came back over here. Oh yeah, I stopped at the mission desk. It was some crazy s**t going on there, they acted like they didnt even know who I was" He said, recalling the events that had happened earlier that day. Sorain yawned loudly as boredom began to overcome him rather quickly. This was the situation he always seemed to find himself in, when he was training his beef was that he was never allowed to go out and do anything was basically a slave to his monitors, but when he did have free time, he had nothing to do with it. Sorain rubbed his forehead, what in the hell was he going to do with his rare day off. He only hoped that Sai had some sort of idea of what they should do with the rest of their day, although knowing Sai they would either A end up doing something that they had no business doing, or B they would be training again. Sorain took a deep breath, allowing the cool air to circulate through his lungs before laying down flat on the roof, his body outlining a disfigured snow angel. "What did you do today exactly?"

Sai leaned up and looked at his brother, his lip folding back into a snarl at his words. "You too?!" He exclaimed obviously annoyed at the topic, his head shaking as he eyes screwed closed and he let out a heavy breath. "It's just some bullshit. I swear, it really is. I spent the entire day hunting down these thieves cause I just couldn't find anything else to do, and when I brought them in those bastards just stared at me with wide mouths as though they didn't recognize me." With another huff, he threw himself back onto his brother with out a care for the fact that they were on the edge of the roof or how his brother may have felt about the consistent leaning on and off of him. "I mean, I grant the fact that we haven't been allowed out into the village for roughly eleven years and s**t, and that makes it hard to remember us as a person... but damn, how could you forget us all together like that? I mean, we stand out clearly. We have white blond, long a** ******** hair. We're children to two of the most famous shinobi that were ever born in this country, who were also containers to demons. And now we are the containers as well! Like what the hell... At least we should be on file, and easy to find due to our unique statuses but not even..."

Sai sighed heavily and shook his head again, his hand rubbing and pulling at the skin of his face tiredly. It was all just so aggravating, it was like they had just erased their existence completely. As though they weren't meant to exist, to be thrown into a little box not to be erased completely but just ignored forever as though they weren't supposed to be there. "Anyways... Yea, that's how I spent my day. Usual training this morning, they beat the crap out of me. Guess they're still upset about our last gag, so be careful tomorrow morning... Anyways, afterwords searched the village for thieves and got some money after turning them in. You already know the whole deal about those stupid people at the office... Gah, I just can't believe people... How could they treat us like that?" With another heavy sigh, Sai turned his eyes to the sky, it was growing dark quick.

Sorain returned his arms to his sleeves and leaned his head upward as he began to have some sort of realization, or maybe his boredom was so heavy that anything that seemed remotely entertaining seemed to be a good idea, Sorain liked to think it was the former. "You know, that is a good point. Mizu no Kuni is a Shinboi Country, being that we live in the capital our armies resources should be at least moderately up to date with the rest of the words. So, assuming we were put in the system at all. Even if we were off reccord for eleven years, our file should exist." Sorains eyes brows scrunched into a frown, "In fact, I would be willing to bet that damn near every Shinobi Village in the nation has at least some sort of reccord on us. I mean, its one thing to have a lacking file, or a file that is not up to date or complete, but to not have one at all? As Jinchuriki almost every active army in existence knows who we are." The more Sorain thought about the more suspicious it made him. "Im willing to bet that if we went down the mission office and demanded to see our files, we would get some interesting results"

Sorain pushed his shoulder to the right, shrugging his brother off before standing to his feet and rubbing his feet into the roofs panels. He was considering it deeply, he was bored for one, not to mention the fact that a Ninja's file was everything that they were. It contained all their missions experience, as well as the only form of definitive proof that they were part of the village that they claimed. To not have a file at all was almost insulting.

Kyuzaku propped up the ladder underneath the red X. With a chisel and hammer in hand, he got up on top of the ladder, and marked the eight by eight square with a pencil. After doing so, he got to work. He hammered away at the hard wood for minutes (thankfully his strength let him cut through quickly), and in no time, he had fleshed out an outline for the notch. He then started cutting away. Layer after layer of wood fell away at his chisel's touch. However, as he got deeper into the wood, he began to feel something strange. A reverberation he didn't like. With each powerful hit, his chisel went in, but it seemed to shake the entire structure. Kyuzaku looked around at the beams that were still intact, "What's going on... This doesn't feel right..." He said worriedly.

His fears came true on the next hammer hit. This would have carved out the last of the wood to stick the pin into, however at the same time, it created a sizable crack down the middle of the load-bearing beam. Kyuzaku swore rapidly and quickly, then jumped off of the ladder, "What do I do with it! If I get the pin in, maybe it will hold up this beam, then the horizontal one can just be mended. That's what I'm going to do!"

Kyuzaku dashed over to the lengthy pin, and put his hands into the Tiger handseal. Chakra stretched from his body to the puddle beneath the rubble, and created a perfect clone of Kyuzaku. The real Kyuzaku called over to the water-clone Kyuzaku, "Help me out bro!"

The water clone dashed over and picked up the front end of the piece. Together, Kyuzaku and the water-clone hurried the wooden pole to the location, then propped it up. Water-clone Kyu stood in front, and aimed the pole into it's hole, then Real Kyuzaku pushed in the bottom, holding higher on the pole the closer he got. Finally, the pin was in the hole, however, like the architect had said, the corner was preventing the piece from fitting flush with the ground. Right now, there wasn't a whole lot of pressure upwards, but like the architect had said, he couldn't push up that beam for long; it would ruin the system. Whatever he did, it would have to be quick.

Kyu then had an idea. He'd seen the Chuunin exams before, and had seen some awesome Taijutsu-work. From the leaf village, he'd seen a spectacular kick. If he remembered right, the Taijutsu Specialist from Lead called it the Leaf Rising Wind. Kyu had an idea how it worked: It started with the user getting low, then building power in their legs. The attack was a low to high kick, that sent the enemy flying. If he transformed this attack into a different angle, such as a forty-five degree instead of seventy or eighty degrees, he's hit the opponent diagonally, creating height and distance. Following that, he could finish with a dropkick, similair to the one he saw in that ninja's follow-up combo, Leaf Great Whirlwind. Granted, Kyuzaku's combo would be shorter, but it would be to create a distance between him and the foe. In this instance, he figured, it would force the piece into place!

Kyuzaku stood back, and prepped for the attack, "Hold the beam steady, bro!" The water clone nodded, and held it taught. Kyuzaku dashed in, then skidded low. He tensed up his legs, then unleashed an attack to the lower-middle piece of the beam. The beam skidded in a few inches. "HALF THERE!" Kyuzaku jumped up, and stretched his leg up high. As he fell, he dropped his leg in a powerful axe kick. With a crack and a thump, the beam jumped into position.

Kyuzaku vaulted backwards in a spiraling corkscrew jump. He landed hard on the ground, and skidded a few feet before he stopped. With a toothy grin, he said with a sense of accomplishment, "Got it."

Kyuzaku wiped his brow. His spur of the moment technique worked wonders on his job. However, there were still more seven more pillars to go. In hopes that there was a quicker way, Kyuzaku went outside, and asked the workers for two things. The first was the architect. He needed to see the crack, and judge whether or not wood glue would hold the beam. The second was for a drill so he could pull out most of the wood in a hole before shaping it. Theoretically, this would speed up the process by quite a bit. Although he couldn't find the archietect, the word was sent that Kyu was looking for him, and the fish-guy did get his hand drill.

Kyu returned to the Temple, where his water clone was waiting for him with the ladder set up, and one of the holes bored out (what a useful clone!). Kyu gave his second-self a thumbs up, then readied himself to pick up the beam-to-be-placed. Once more, they marched to the hole, and set up the pin against the hole. With a low kick, then a drop kick, the reluctant pole slid flush inside it's spot. Things were getting easier!

Kyu and water-clone Kyu marched over to the next pin, and set up the ladder. This time, Kyuzaku had the power of the hand drill to maximize his time. He put the drill to the wood, and pressed against the hard surface with the tip. Kyuzaku cranked the shaft, and slowly, but surely, he began to dig in. Wood shavings flitted out of the drill as he cut through, but Kyuzaku saw through the dust to see where he needed to stop and begin chiseling.

Kyuzaku reached for his chisel and began to work. He marked around the edges of the circular bore, then began to chisel inwards, creating a cube just as he was supposed to. Like he had thought, starting with a chunk missing from the middle made the job much faster. In no time at all, the square was complete, all that he needed to do now was put in the pin, "Hey, bro, let's get that thing in here..." However, his water clone was no-where to be found. To his side, around a pillar, he heard a knocking sound. Kyuzaku raised an eyebrow, "What? Someone else is carving?"

He leaped down from the ladder, and walked around the pillar to see his mirror self chopping away at the wooden beam above with a chisel. Like he had done, water-clone Kyu had drilled out the middle of the square with his own drill, then started to carve it out. "Hey, thanks for starting, bro... but I need to get the pin in."

Water clone Kyu shook his head, "No way bro, let's get all the holes in first, then we can focus on the pins. It'll be faster to work in parallel; with both of us carving. Then, when we're done, we can punch in those pins one after another." Kyuzaku was amazed, not only where his water clones useful, but they were smart too (although they were scarily smarter than him).

Kyuzaku jumped on board with the efficiency plan, and started his next bore. With this hole, he'd have two pillars finished, and three cut. Therefore, there's only be three more to carve! Kyuzaku drilled away at his hole, and started chiseling it out just as water-clone Kyu moved his ladder and started hole number six. As he got on his ladder, the clone announced, "Numero Seis, on its way!" The real kyuzaku didn't spend too much longer on his hole before to number seven. As it was before, he got about halfway through the process when his clone moved onto number eight. Kyu finishes shortly after, and hopped off of the ladder. He collapsed the thing, and put it to the side. They wouldn't need it any longer for this mission. Just as he put the mechanism down, he was approached by none other than the architect who had assigned him the project. The achitect walked up to the shark-boy and said, "I heard you had a problem with the support beams?" Kyuzaku nodded, and showed the man beam one, and the horizontal beam it connected to.

"While I was chiseling the hole for the pin to insert into, the beam split slightly, and I needed to know if this would be a problem in the future. I was thinking that we might be able to put some sort of gap-filling wood glue inside. What do you think?" Kyuzaku asked, looking at the stress cracks anxiously.

The architect replied, "Hmm, the stress lines don't look too bad, but we're going to need an analysis on the stress of the piece after everything is done to see whether or not it needs replacement...Report this to your sensei when you're done, so he'll know that it has become part of our contract, in case we need a ninja to help us with the replacement. Hopefully, it wont be necessary. Don't worry, any other costs aren't your fault. You were just doing as told. Just finish up the other pillars, and you're set to go."

Kyuzaku gave the man a goodbye, then proceeded to check on his water-clone's work. The clone had just finished the hole for pin number eight, which meant that they could start putting up the beams! When they started, Kyuzaku took lead, much to his clone's surprise. "Bro, here's what we're going to do: First, you'll kick in two beams, then I'll do two. After that, you'll finish with the last two." Now the real Kyuzaku had the good ideas! By doing it this way, they wouldn't get exhausted as fast.

One by one, the pair of Kyuzaku's pile-drove the beams into place underneath the load-bearing horizontal beams. Each T-junction signaled weight distribution throughout the structure. Upon driving in the last piece with a poweful kick, Kyuzaku dispelled his clone back into a puddle of rainwater, then pumped his fist into the air, "Yes! Mission complete!"

A wild grin spread across Sai's lips at his brother's words. Rolling himself to his stomach and pushing his body up to a stand, the boy pulled his arms to the back of his head and laughed. "Then what the hell are we waiting for, eh?" He chimed, his bright blue eyes gleaming dangerously as he watched his brother for a second before continuing on, "Lets head down to the mission office right now. And I promise you we're going to get us some answers..." Turning away from his brother and facing the path that laid before them, Sai took in a deep breath and allowed his hand to pull a kunai out of his pouch and hold it tightly, "Even if we have to get it by force." The boy ended darkly before taking off in the night towards their target.

Sorain heard the cling of the kunai being brought out, making him grin in amusement, "Yeah right, like they would even dream of denying us" He said standing to his feet and back flipping off the roof before landing on the ground and sprinting after his brother. It did not take them long to reach the Missions office where they both stopped directly out front, "Alright Sai, dont go in there hell bent on starting s**t. Lets just go ask them a few questions, if we dont get answers, then we will start ******** s**t up got it?" he said warning his brother, the last thing he wanted was to cause an uproar and end up having to fight damn near the whole village army but he was none the less willing, if it came to that he would get these answers by force, why? Why not. Sorain nor Sai really had anything to loose, they had nothing that could be taken from them that was not already gone. Folding his arms into his sleeves Sorain walked into the Mission office and asserted himself to the front of the line, as he approached the desk a a young secretary wearing glasses and a head band wrapped around her hair looked up at him and damn near dropped all of the papers she was holding. Sorain frowned as he heard the comotion resulting from her reaction, that was a bad sign already.

The lady finnaly worked up the nerve to speak, "yes may I help you?" She asked, hesitantly. Sorain responded, "Yes you can, I need to see my file.. Now. I have been part of this village my entire life so Im sure my information should be there. My name is Orasakai Sorain, and thats my brother Sai." He said pointing over his shoulder where he hopped that Sai was standing or he would be looking really silly. The women fumbled on the computer before it gave her an error, the files had not been found. She looked up for one moment before giving them a one moment signal and turning and heading for the back. Sorain turned back around, "That was odd"
PostPosted: Tue Dec 14, 2010 3:18 pm

"Mmm?" Sai's attention hadn't fully been on the woman, but rather it was on just about everyone else in the room. While Sorain may not have seen it nor felt the piercing gazes of everyone in the room as he was focused more on the woman, Sai sure could. It was a given that everyone on the line was more then upset with the twins, the mission office was sometimes just as bad as a postal office, lines stretching every where with people at the desk who were so fed up with their jobs that they wouldn't even bother addressing their jobs with the proper energy. So of course, after waiting so long to get to the front of the line the people there were by far peeved off at the two for skipping them... But it was more then that. The two were getting strange looks from the guards, the other people working the desks and even people in the back offices had quieted and turned to watch them.

In fact the entire office, which had been buzzing when they first came in was now silent. Eerily silent as all eyes fell upon them. "Heh, pretty funny she tells you to wait with a hand sign. Some people have no consideration for the blind." Sai chuckled, grinning innocently at all the people behind them before turning around and leaning into his brother's shoulder. In a shushed, practically murmured voice Sai spoke towards his brother. "I know we said we were ready to get this info... but..." Sai took in a slight gulp and took another look around. Don't matter how cocky the two were, they still lacked true battle experience and nine out of ten times when they trained they had their asses handed to them by their trainers. At the end of the day they were still just rookies that just happened to have a house full of potential and also be containers for the country's demons. "I severely don't like this situations... We have a lot of heat on us, roughly thirty people are in the room. Probably more in the back.. Lets not be too rash."

Sorain was shocked that his brother of all people was telling him to not be rash, if Sai was worried then there was defiantly a problem here even if he himself could not see it. Sorain calmed himself before stepping aside and holding out his arms welcoming Sai to take the lead on this one. He could not even tell if the lady was still standing there or not so what good was he in this situation? Even if she did show him a file how would he even know if it was his? She could show him a picture of a frog for all he knew and he would have to accept it. Sorain frowned, now that he mentioned it, Sorain could sense the negitive vibes he was getting from just about everyone in the room. It was a feeling that they were being judged right where they stood, as if they had no right to even exist or be seen in any way. Sorain sighed to himself, what in the hell did he get himself into, at this point he was not even sure he wanted to know the answers to the questions that he was pursuing.

A few moments later two men in cloaks and matching Anbu mask entered the room, each of them standing at a staggering six foot seven and very well built. They spoke in almost perfect unison and formality, almost as if the words were not theres, and that they were simply verbally relaying a written message with no thoughts or opinions of their own. "Exit the building immediately, You will be contacted by the Mizukage when he is ready to deal with you" The said together before cutting off and staring them both down. Even through the mask, the feeling of there deep stare tore through the entire room. Sorain listed as the two gave him the order and spoke out foolishly, "And what if we dont? We are officially ranked Shinobi, We have a right to check our own files dont we!?" He demanded. The two did not flintch nor pause before speaking together, "Exit the building immediately, You will be contacted by the Mizukage when he is ready to deal with you." They repeated. Sorain balled his fist inside his sleeve in frustration, being blind Sorain had no idea that these two wore the obvious outfitting of village Anbu, to him these seemed no more than cranked up security guards whom took there jobs too seriously. "******** that! I want to see my file!" He demanded yet again, taking a step forward towards them.

Before Sorain could think or react he was upside down, and the next thing he knew he was on his back on the floor. The first Anbu had landed a solid blow towards his chest, as the other kicked him in the back of the leg sending him up and over only to land on the hard floor. Sorain coughed as air violently returned to his lungs. "W..DA ********?" He questioned before rolling over and pulling himself to his feet. His blood was pumping but he had no intention of rushing right in. Bracing himself for another attack that never came Sorain's body began to emit a cool air that caused everyone on the room to shiver. He clinched his teeth as he could feel his bodies senses becoming battle alert, picking up on even the smallest of things, most importantly the breathing of the two Anbu. Sorain grunted before releasing two Senbon needles aimed directly at the first of the Anbu. Sorain flintched as he heard the clang of the Anbu's sword making contact with the metalic shards sending them scattering through the room, narrowly missing two innocent villagers.

Rinku, softly opened the door to his house and when he stepped inside his mother had somehow heard him "HOW'D IT GO!?!" She said nervously and excited at the same time. Rinku knew this would happen so he answered as calmly as possible "Not bad, looks like I’m a genin now." His mom smiled and crushed him with a powerful hug "I knew you would pass sweety, you’re so intelligent and strong." Rinku writhed in pain from the extreme power hug. "Th-thanks... mum..." Suddenly a voice came from the other room "Let the boy down, your killing him." His mum let him go and Rinku saw his father stumble in. "So you made genin ey? Atta boy, your strong just like your parents were." Rinku rubbed his head and said "No offense dad, but you’re not strong at all." His dad let out a laugh "Hahahaha, you know what I mean." He walked to the counter to find something to drink. His mum went over and continued to cook something, ironically it was Rinku's favorite. Rinku smiled lightly and went over to the counter and pulled two bottles of milk off it and went upstairs quietly. He sat by his window and stared out it. Some time passed by until his dad walked in… unannounced as usual. His dad had no respect for privacy, but whenever Rinku tried to argue he’d always say “It’s my house, I can do whatever I want.” Rinku’s tried to annoy him by doing it as well, but to no avail, as it never bothered him. His dad sat down in his chair. “So you’re a genin now ey? You get assigned into groups right, have you met them yet?” Rinku turned to his dad. “Yeah I met them…” His dad smirked, “Conflict already? Nah… you’re not the type.” Rinku turned to face the outside again “Heh… My squad consists of Akio Mizu and some other girl…” His dad laughed lightly and said “Some other girl?” Rinku smiled “Crap… I forgot her name…” They both shared a warm laugh and then sat silently for some time until his dad asked “So when is your guy’s first mission?” Rinku shook his head, “I won’t be on any missions for some time, Akio got injured when we were taking the academy exams.” His dad frowned “Injured?” Rinku put his head down. “It was my fault… I got frustrated… and… I used my power…” His dad stood up, and walked over to Rinku and put his hand on his shoulder. “ Its okay Rinku, you did what you had to pass… there’s a reason you have that power… and that’s to use it, even if it grosses the ladies out.” Rinku nodded and smiled a little. “Speakin’ of which, you got a nice girlfriend yet?” Rinku pushed his dad playfully “Get out of here dad.” They both laughed as his dad left and Rinku drank some more milk, feeling a little better about academy exam. Later that day Rinku fell asleep and had a strange dream. He was floating out above the surface of the water. The air was misty and difficult to see through. His body was cold, suddenly he began to freeze, his body formed icicle and they traveled up his body to his neck, preventing any movement, he heard a deep low laugh Rinku could not speak or yell, he could only see what very little he could. Suddenly eyes opened up right in front of him in a burst and Rinku woke up hitting the ground hard from falling off his bed. “Gah-Ow!!” Rinku picked himself off and removed the sheets that fell with him “RINKU!” His mother’s voice called. Rinku got up and quickly grabbed his clothes and went downstairs. His dad passed by him as he went “ Looks like you got a mission after all.” Rinku hurried to see an older man at the door. The old man squinted at him and said “Are you Rinku…” He looked down at the sheet of paper he was holding “…Kaguya?” Rinku nodded, but then said “ Is that a mission scroll?” The Old man perked as if he had just been reminded what he was doing. “Oh… yes, you are to report to the missions office immediately!” Rinku shook his head. “I think there’s some kind of mistake, my team is waiting for one of our comrades to make a recovery.” The old man smiled “Yes I am aware… but as you know the Mist village has missions to be done and we can’t afford our limited shinobi sitting around and drinking tea. A make shift team has already been considered.” Rinku looked surprised. “Oh… uhh.” The man began to walk away. “Uh, oh- um, Thank you!” He shouted as the man left. Rinku’s mind began to race Ok I need my bag, and my- He raced upstairs and got his things together and then ran to the missions building as quickly as he could. My first mission ey…Hope it goes well… ugh, don’t be a downer, time to show my new teammates the genius they just acquired. Rinku grinned and stopped outside the mission office. “Heh, piece of cake.” He put his hands behind his head and walked in triumphantly.

With a mighty yawn, Hibiki sat up and turned off his alarm clock. Today is the first day of him being a Genin. It made him feel more confident and powerful, despite how weak he really is compared to most. After getting up and doing his morning routine, (the only exception about today's morning was that his parents had been arguing all night, meaning Hibiki's father was passed out on the couch), he set off to grab Kuro from his morning hunting ritual and then finally set off for town.

"So, Kuro, today is the day we meet our squard, are you excited?" A small yip from the Ninsune meant he was, "I am too. We get to finally get to go on missions! I just hope our teammates don't find me as weird as the people in the Academy. I don't see whats so wrong with me." A small whimper from his companion told him that they were going to be late if they didn't hurry up. Both Hibiki and Kuro could easily tell what the other was thinking, maybe not as precise as if they could read minds, but they knew the general thought. That's why they could tell when each other is in danger, it must be an Inuzuka thing.

"Fine then, we'll speed up. Ninja Art of Beast Mimicry: All-fours Jutsu!" Dropping down to all fours, Hibiki began to sprint, with Kuro beside him, as they tried to rush through the rather misty town of Kirigakure. It was morning, so people were rushing about, trying to get to their destination. The Inuzuka and Ninsune simply dodged, ducked, dipped, dived, and dodged out of the way of the Hidden Mist Citizens. "C'mon Kuro, keep up!" He half shouted, half cheered on his companion as he raced through the city towards the missions office.

"There it is!" The Inuzuka cheered happily, his grin beaming in the usual gloomy village as he continued his sprint towards the office. Of course he couldn't just stop, for his body continued to go with the momentum he had started. Luckily, the door had been opened by another shinobi, but unluckily, Hibiki and Kuro both slammed into the back of him full speed. "You should have been watching where you were going." The boy sneered, his smile not fading in the slightest as he rubbed his head. "Honestly, how could you be so ignorant as to just stand in the way of other Shinobi?"

Kyuzaku walked out of the Temple. He looked into the bright blue sky, and held out his hand, expecting what was coming next. From the sky was an ear-piercing screech, and a scroll came flying from above. The green-lines scroll popped into his hand perfectly, and unraveled to reveal the next mission. He glared at the text, then rolled up the paper once more. "Mission Three, Meet new group, then go on a new mission. This is going to be... fantastic." Kyuzaku strode down the winding mountain stairway down to the low end of Kirigakure.

Once he hit ground level, Kyuzaku took speed and jumped up to the second story of houses and buildings. He ran from rooftop to ledge to overhang to balcony and repeated the process. The shark-man traversed the town at bristling speeds, and began to wonder out loud his doubts about his new team. His old one in the academy was worthless, so his hopes weren't high for this set of tag-a-longs, "I wonder what this group is going to be like. Chances are, they'll be just like Ichigo and Barabara. Slackoffs who benefit on my work. What am I saying? I need to at least give them a chance. Maybe I'll be the weak one in the group. Hell yea, that means I'll be able to catch up to their talents, and exceed them. Maybe they'll be experienced too, like maybe they'll be ready for chuunin rank, but one of their members died on a high-risk mission. Gods, that sounds good. OR! Or, maybe they're graduates with backgrounds like me: Hardworking group leaders who will challenge me with their exceptional growth and natural proficiencies. Hell yea for challenges!"

Kyuzaku kept up his positive attitude when he entered the building from the above story. He had seen two guys outside smashing into each other; he didn't want to get in the middle of some guys' lame arguement about bumping into each other. At worst, they might even start fighting. Kyuzaku had no time for such tomfoolery, he was on a mission! Kyu dropped in to the mission offices and approached the information table. He slid his three D-Rank scrolls to the receptionist, and was directed to a nearby waiting room, where he would wait for his two teammates.

The room was bare, save for a projector, a screen, and a few chairs. Basically, if it was the bare basics for a mission briefing, then it was here. Kyu took a seat near the projector, and waited for his new comrads.

Rinku entered the building with his hands at his sides "Don't worry, a genius has been assigned to your team!" Rinku winced, there was no one there except an old lady who was going through some files. She then pointed a wrinkly finger in the direction of another room. Rinku smiled "Oh, hahaha." He prepared for his hero pose again when suddenly two swift shadows came up from behind and bolted straight into him, sending him to the ground forcefully "Gahh!" The wreckage was minimum save his own health. "You should have been watching where you were going." The boy said. He looked up to see a young man with a large smile across his face. He seemed close to his age and by his side, a fox was shaking off the dust of the crash. Walking past them a young shinobi avoided them completely, due to business and walked by. "Honestly, how could you be so ignorant as to just stand in the way of other Shinobi?" Rinku's head tilted. Luckily due to his resilient bones he was not injured badly by the crash and what was injured was fairly unnoticeable. Rinku smiled and got to his feet. "Ah!" he said rather sly. He reached into his satchel and grabbed his notebook and pencil. He then mumbled to himself scribbling in it. "In order... to be a hero... you must not stand... in the way... of other shinobi." Rinku looked over his notes. "Hmmm, thats an awfully tough thing to do when I don't have eyes in the back of my head." Rinku put his notes away and smiled lightly. Suddenly the old woman sighed and said "Hey... you two... you have a mission, get inside the briefing room now!" Rinku gulped, not wanting to mess with any old ladies. Rinku walked over and opened the door to the briefing room. Inside was fairly bare save one young man seated facing the projector. "Ah, my comrade!" Rinku rushed over to meet his new comrade. The young man turned to reveal the face of blue, with shark characteristics. Rinku's jaw dropped. "My teammate... is a shark?" It was quiet for a few seconds. Then Rinku gave a fist pump. "Hell yeah, Ill bet your some kind of crazy hero right!?!" Rinku got excited. "You look super strong!" Rinku smiled "I just graduated from the academy, but i'm pretty strong to you know!" Rinku let out a heroic laugh.
