Steadily she moved as Kaida moved, her steps planned before she ever moved her hooves. She watched as Kaida moved closer to the lake, Sengdroma followed her. Her ears flattened against her head as she made a quick movement to try to take the lead:
1- Charges Kaida's side- Miss
2- Charges Kaida's side- Hit
3- Rears reaching out with a front hoof for Kaida's head- Miss
4- Rears reaching out with a front hoof for Kaida's head- Hit
5- Pivots quickly, kicking with her rear legs to tag Kaida's side- Miss

Kaida heard the racing hoofprints behind and her and picked up her pace, she was almost too slow to react to the sudden appearance of hooves aiming for her head. Wow, Sengdroma could move fast, she nearly hit Kaida... too close, too close she repeated in her head. To say she was impressed would be an understatement. It was suddenly clear why she was an alpha..... it was a well earned position.
A grin flashed upon her face moments before....
RNG:
1- Kaida brought her own hooves down on Sengdroma's rump. Misses.

Sengdroma grunted as Kaida's hooves came down on her rump, she hadn't been quick enough to turn and get out of the mare's reach. She could definitely see why this female had been adorned with the symbol of a protector, she was a tough one to keep up with. Without much hesitation, Sengdroma turned into the mare:
1-Using her head to ram Kaida's side- Miss
2-Using her head to ram Kaida's side- Hit
3-Uses her shoulder, trying to push Kaida off balance- Miss

"Six. Four." She grunted as the wind rushed out of her from Sengdroma's attack. Already the mare was catching up, perhaps a change in tactics was needed? No... not yet.... soon. She scanned the area quickly, checking their distances from the lake. Not far... good.
Turning her attention back to Sengdroma she hoped she hadn't given away anything of her plan, of course looking at the lake could be intrepretted several ways... and Kaida had no plans of revealing her plan until it was too late. She grinned again.
Many would have goaded or felt overconfidence at the slight lead, or simply in an effort to throw their partner off their game, but Kaida was not like that. Far from it, she was honourable and would continue to spar in such fashion.
RNG:
1- Strikes out quickly with her head in a smooth jabbing motion, aiming for the muscle at the top of the leg in an effort to stun Sengdroma. Misses.

Quickly Sengdroma moved away from the mare, just it time it seemed. The mare had made a move to tag Sengdroma but failed. Turning back to face Kaida, Seng straightened her pose once more. She was having quite the time with this mare, she was enjoying the match even if she was behind.
After a quick snort, Sengdroma moved in:
1- Rearing to hit Kaida's shoulder- Miss
2- Rearing to hit Kaida's shoulder- Hit
3- Attempts to headbutt Kaida's chest- Miss
4- Attempts to headbutt Kaida's chest- Hit
5- Grabs Kaida by the mane, attempting to pull her off balance onto the ground- Miss

((Rearing is hooves right? Like rasing them up? *thinks that's called rearing* XD If not let me know and it will be 6/6.))
"Six. Five." Kaida said, not amused at all that the mare was catching up, despite the fact that they both had near enough ten points left before the end of the match. It was any ones game.
The weight of Sengdroma had knocked the much lighter form of Kaida back a bit, giving her enough time to access the situation before moving again. Behind Sengdroma was the lake... now was the time to put her plan into action.
RNG:
1- Slams into Sengdroma and pushed her into the lake. Misses.

Sengdroma lost her balance and toppled into the lake, she started laughing as a smile broke across her face. "Sneaky thing you are!" she called out to kaida as she made her way back to her feet, shaking the water from her coat. "That... that was not expected..." she would give the mare credit for creativity. She would have to remember to watch for water.
Once she struggled a moment to get back to her feet, Sengdroma walked through the edge of the water, her head bobbing up and down as she plotted her next move.
1- Just gets out and away from the water
2- Charges Kaida, headbutt- Miss
3- Charges Kaida, headbutt- Hit
4- Charges Kaida for a bodyslam- Miss
5- Charges Kaida for a bodyslam- Hit
6- Charges past Kaida, giving her a playful swat in the face with her tail- Hit

Kaida was pleased her plan worked, not only did she have two extra points the other mare was now heavy with water, and until she dried out fully would likely be slower. Good... an advantage. Still, the speed of Sengdroma's recovery shocked her, and it was took late for her to move her head as Sengdroma headbutted her. It was a solid hit, and although the rules usually meant only light contact on the head Kaida was not against taking a good blow after her trick. "Eight. Eight." She grumbled, it was a tie. Only seven points until a winner was announced. Two head contacts and another attack would do it... or four slams.
Kaida contemplated her options as the pain in her head started to ebb.
She didn't want to get too close to the water but was left with no choice since the other mare was on the bank. Taking a risk she....
RNG:
1- Lunged forward, missing Sengdroma and ending up in the water.
2- Charges forward, slamming her body into Sengdroma's pushing her deeper into the water. Misses, and ends up in the water herself.

She had been too busy laughing at the trick Kaida pulled that her reaction time was off. Had this been a real battle, it could have meant her death. Thankfully, she knew this was all a game. She grunted as Kaida slammed her, pushing her further into the water. She had an idea... It wouldn't give her any points, but payback would be fun.
1- Sidesteps, takes the hit but rolls her body so that Kaida goes face first into the water behind her.
2- Takes the blow and just buckles, causing Kaida to fall into the water with her.

Kaida had expected Sengdroma to stand strong in the assault but she hadn't. It was a shock, especially when she took in a mouth of water and her flutterwings became soaked, her long hair flowed on the lakes surface as she gasped for air and struggled her way back to the surface. She spat out a mouthful of water and glared at Sengdroma. "Now that was just mean," still, there was a smile to her eyes and the corner of her lips. Kaida was known for her 'tricks' and before Sengdroma no one had ever dared pull one on her.... had she become complacent? Beliving no one would ever pull a trick on her? It seemed so, lesson learnt.
Wading back to the surface she grunted the score, "Ten. Eight." Thankful she was once again in the lead since Sengdroma had done no damage on her last go... well, no damage worth points. The fact was her delicate wings and feathers were now covered in water weighing them down, and since her frame was usually so light due to her breed the added weight was not welcome. Still, she would not let Sengdroma see she had done anything that she could use against her.
She....
RNG:
1- Roared out raced towards Sengdroma. Stopping just short of her and tapping her on the nose with her own. Misses.

Though she was the Alpha, Sengdroma still had a playful streak about her. Sometimes... Sometimes she just couldn't help it even though it was unbecoming of a leader.
She watched as Kaida rushed from the water toward the trees, she didn't know what she was up to, but she wasn't going to give her much time to prepare.
Sengdroma:
1- Charges out of the water body slamming Kaida- Miss

3- Charges past Kaida, attempting a bat on the nose with her tail- Miss

Kaida had been so busy trying to run away from Sengdroma and the water that she missed the soft sound of hooves on the ground, somehow it made the noise muffled. She turned her head just in time to watch the hit that swept her hooves from under her. She slammed down to the ground with a loud -and unladylike- THUD!
She groaned and felt the ache in her front left hoof in particular, hoping it wasn't broken she rolled back onto all fours and pulled herself up.
She turned as quickly as she could, "Ten. Nine." she panted as she turned even on her tender ankle and....

She cringed a bit as Kaida came down on top of her as she slid through. Thankfully the mare rolled off quickly, getting back to her feet. Sengdroma wasn't as lucky. It took her just mere seconds longer to get up than Kaida, but it was enough time for the mare to land a body hit into her side. The air rushed from Sengdroma's lungs for a moment.
She shook her head from side to side, trying to catch her breath. Before Kaida could get too far away, Seng:
1- Reached out, tapping her nose- Miss
2- Reached out, tapping her nose- Hit
3- Grabs Kaida by the mane, pulling her back- Miss
4- Grabs Kaida by the mane, pulling her back- Hit

"Twelve. Nine." She said as she struck the other mare, a soft smile of play and enjoyment covered her lips. She wondered what the mare would do neck... the answer came quickly as she felt her mane being pulled down. She supposed that counted as a 'head' touch but she would count the points later... right now she was resisting the urge to scream and she pulled her hair free with a sudden yank, she was sure a clump of it still remained in Sengdroma's mouth.
Free once more she gave the mare enough time to get up before she made her move....
One... two... three... "Twelve all." She said before jumping into action. Only three points left.
RNG:
1- Kaida moves forward and jabs Sengdroma in the head with her own. Misses.

Sengdroma spat out the hair that had been left in her mouth due to Kaida pulling away. She braced herself as she saw the movements of the mare coming at her, she stood her ground, digging her hooves into the dirt Sengdroma hardly moved when Kaida rushed her.
Sengdroma:

3- Nips at kaida's shoulder- Miss
4- Nips at Kaida's shouder- Hit
