It wasn't long before another monster walked onto the train. Her black and tan wings were folded against her to allow herself throught he door way. Her lion's tail swished back and forth in a curious manner. Cat eyes looked about the cabin at the other students and the sphinx smiled a bit. She was glad there were a few other monsters on her train. Heaven forbid she had been stuck in a cabin with a bunch of snooty demons!
She sauntered her way towards the middle, as saunter is the best word for the feline monster. Her daisy duke shorts and mid-drift did nothing to really hide her figure. A figure she was very proud of and maintained almost religiously. Her black hair hung around her shoulders. She smiled to the large green man who seemed to be the one in charge. Her fangs glissened in the light. The only thing that was really odd about her was the Ankh headband she wore. It showed her Egyptian heritage. She also felt it was good luck!
Looking into the back she saw a loud student and frowned. Her sensitive cat ears did not appriciate the noise. Then again she prefered the roar of the crowd as she ran about on the field. She would have growled at her, the deep purring growl she had but the lemer seemed to start flirting with the large swamp monster. Finally she saw a creature that looked familiar, a gryphon. She felt some sort of kinship with her fellow multi-beast. After all they were both a mixture of animals. She walked to the back and smiled.
"This seat taken?" she pointed a clawed finger at the seat near Tahki. Her tail continued to swish back and forth.

Two ghouls in car seemed to have gotten along. Were they friends? Tahki couldn't hear because her headphones had pretty much silenced everything. It didn't matter though.
And then Tahkis heart stopped for a split second. Raziel? He sat two seats up from the gryphon. Tahki sunk in her seat a little hoping the little monster wouldn't try anything funny today. Maybe he hadn't seen her.
Tahki gulped.
Her attention was taken away from Raziel as another student entered the car. He wasn't one that Tahki knew by name though. Tahki returned her attention back to Raziels seat. A deep and heavy frown pierced through her pretty face.
And then a boy she'd never laid eyes on before took a seat just across the aisle from her. Tahki watched as his lips moved. Did he say something? The gryphon adjusted her head phones.
"..Pardon?" Tahki questioned him. But then one of the ghouls up front turned to the back of the cabin. Tahki was able to catch what the other girl was saying having her headphones silenced now.
"..Wonderful?" She gave a confused look to the inugami and then back to the ghoul. Had she missed a lot since getting on the train with her headphones? Tahki blinked a little bewildered. Then another ghoul came to add to Tahkis confusion. It took a moment for Tahki to gather what was going on having just come out of a techno coma.
"N-no the seats not taken. You can sit here," She looked up to find a sphinx ghoul about her age. Well this was the first creature close to kin that Tahki had come across. The surprise was pleasant.

(( Quest for reference pictures)) "Thanks. I don't really know anyone just yet so I thought I'd at least sit next to a monster more like me than the rest," she smiled. She had something of a forgien accent, the many years living in Egypt with her family had left it's mark. She crossed her long, muscular legs and looked around a bit. Her cat eyes scanned the others to remember their faces before turning back to the griffon girl. Others seemed to be milling about or sulking. Oh well, at least she had someone to talk to. "I'm Nefertair by the way. You are?" she looked to the griffon girl. It was true they were something of kin. The girl was part eagle and part lion. She herself was part lion and part eagle. They were the same mix yet were completely different creatures. She saw the ghoul's headphones and smiled a bit, she obviously liked music.

Maybe something would actually go right for once.
The young warlock had been looking forward to the trip, and he hummed to himself happily as he slid into an empty row, grinning brightly at the people around him. He had a good feeling about this trip.
He didn't recognize anyone, which wasn't that much of a concern. There would be plenty of time to talk to people and get to know them on the trip. Well, assuming any of them were willing to socialize of course. He wouldn't want to make anyone do anything they didn't want to.
Still, Myr was pleased. There was a interesting mix of people on the train already, and he was sure more would arrive. They hadn't left yet, after all, and that meant that there was still time. Maybe there'd even be someone he knew.

Come to think of it, Tahki hadn't seen a number of these ghouls and boil(s?) around campus. Were these all soon to be new students coming on this trip or were these already accomplished young terrors? Either way it didn't matter much to the gryphon.
Tahki offered Nefertair a smile when the sphinx offered her name. There was a trace of accent laced in her words. Egyptian? Made sense.
"Tahki Yuki." The gryphoness offered. "Its nice to meet you. I've never met a Sphinx before." It was kind of odd she hadn't seeing the two were closely related monsters.

People, so many people! Gargantuan might have been nervous at the prospect, but it didn't take him long to realize there were several pairs of eyes upon him--all belonging to a tiny face peeping at him from over the back seat. G's ear fins twitched for a moment, and he would have blinked had he been able to, instead lifting a big hand and awkwardly scrunching his fingers at her in a wave. "Hullo."
Looking over the list of names might not have been a bad idea...
The enthusiasm of the girl with the odd accent made the swamp monster grin without thinking, and he would wave at her too, her mood infectious. "G excited! G has fun things planned, yus. Am G." She smelled good, whoever she was. Natalia, that was what she said to someone else? The compliments were enough to earn a low, affectionate rumble from the beast, and from the way he was shifting, he was probably embarrassed. Then there was a pause. "...You dream of swamp-home?" That was special!
Oh, but it was Tybalt! "Hiiii Tyyyyy." Gargantuan all but beamed at the boy, his thick tail slapping against the floor happily. "Ya! G supposed ta keep everyone not bored and stuff. G has important job." He was wondering if he should start up with the games already--but it was probably best to let everyone introduce themselves and get comfortable. The professors had said this might be a long ride!

With a sleepy dream-like gaze in his pale green eyes, Meng Xiang entered the train cabin with a small gentle grin and glanced around without any particular purpose. The pale, petite jiang shi boy took in his new surroundings, having never been on a train before. It was all so awe-inspiring to him and he hoped that wherever they were headed would be just as amazing. "So this is what the inside of of the trains are like... interesting." He spoke softly, almost to the point of a whisper though still audible. He made sure to excuse himself as he passed by people and made his way to a seat, brushing against a black ghost dog sitting beside a large green monster. The boy giggled softly to himself, tucking a loose strand of silver bluish hair behind his ear as he shambled over softly, as not to bother anyone with loud steps, to a nearby empty seat in the middle of the cabin, not too far back although not way up front either. The perfect place to get a good view out the window, in his opinion.
Unlike the other students who brought along their music and headphones, the only item Xi brought with him was an antique looking Polaroid camera that dangled around his neck. None of the teachers had said that he couldn't bring it, so he assumed it was okay. He wanted to be able to capture memories of pretty things that he would find on this trip. Perfectly content with where he was, Xi watched out of the window keeping to himself and thoughtlessly twiddling his thumbs. He knew nobody and nobody knew him, but he was fine with that just as long as his presence was not disturbing anyone.

Oh, that one! Oh wait, no that one over there! Whoa, that's some kind of a**...et...asset she has going on! Her mind raced, gaze darting about the cart, ogling at the faces that came aboard and then...wait, what was this?! THEY PASSED HER BY?! What kind of train was this...Didn't they see her fluffy tail and those poised ears? Her sleek form and long lean legs? What kind of boys were these?
...it occurred to her then that this would be just as she had expected; this being the trip to wherever they were headed. Natalia was too good for these kids. They didn't know what a real woman looked like...Pity.
She would just have to show them.
Then she caught the green monster speaking, soon in her direction, and then off in the direction of another. He was...different, to say the least, but it pleased her to see him appreciate her company and enthusiasm. Disregarding the grumble from a passing feline, although Natalia was tempted to turn and watch the sphinx wiggle her bum into a seat, the monster focused on G and quietly murmured. "G? You're the boss?"
Suddenly her hands were in the air, a low pitched squeal rasping from her throat. "You have saved my mood, G! Is it alright if I call you that? Yeah, it is isn't it! You don't mind...do you? Anyway, this will be great." Giving a warm smile to him, she then passed it over to the one G called 'Ty', nodding her head...but really giving him a once over, enjoying the view from her seat.

Finally, Laiha found herself addressed by the big green boy. The girl beside him was somewhat contaminating his scent, but at least she was speaking less. Rather than wave, the little monster's hand raised and clasped the top of the seat. More of her face showed: her button nose and her fang-filled mouth. She wasn't smiling, but she was doubly pleased that the big boy only said hello. Her attention turned then out the window. Where were they going? What would be there? It was all rather exciting, especially considering nobody had chosen to sit beside her.
Why would they?

It had taken a bit longer for Adelle to find her train car than it necessarily should have, brow still knotted with irritation at the fact that her assigned cabin differed from her sibling's. It wasn't as though they were attached at the hip and couldn't bear to be apart - hell, a break from being the youngest was even nice from time to time - but Nevena was a good buffer in these sorts of situations, and there were so many students cluttering up the place that it was grating just to step inside. The gorgon kept her breathing shallow and her tongue cemented to the bottom of her mouth as she briskly moved along, sparing a glance to her surroundings before selecting a seat nearest to the entrance. She'd spotted G, the lone familiar face in a blurred mass of colors and odors, but he was obviously occupied by a mob of others, and, as Neve might have said, her socializing skills weren't up to par when it came to groups. Or even pairs, if she considered it seriously.
Plunking her backpack into the seat beside her, Adelle slid toward the grey little window with its limited view of the station, peering out even as she listened back. Someone was being loud and foreign, and even a hearing impaired monster could have picked up on G's distinct rumble as it rustled through the floor. Others carried on their own trickling conversations, some quieter, some hissing out their syllables, unless her hair-serpents were playing tricks on her ears. It was too much to focus on for long, and she pulled her headphones up into their proper place, letting them mute the worst of it.
At least there was an advantage to sitting up front, other than how the most obnoxious individuals tended to prefer the back. Sitting with her writhing bangs shading her silvery stare, she could gauge those who entered without being observed in turn, and the back of her seat was high enough to defend her from similar watchful creatures in case they took up a place behind her. One boy that had just boarded was giggling at nothing she could see, wearing what looked to be some kind of weird necklace with a glassy, cyclopic eye at its center. She leaned away discretely as he passed, hoping not to catch whatever had apparently infected him with a bad case of the jollies. This was shaping up be a very long, very trying ride.

The students sitting closer to the front of the train car might have heard a soft scraping sound followed by a muffled thump. It wasn't particularly noisy, and with natural abilities being limited, not that threatening to most students either.

Laiha had never been on a train before, and so wasn't entirely sure what noises one should make. Anything not accompanied by movement, though, seemed a little odd. The noise was faint from where she sat near the middle, something like a Scrags caught in the wall. She looked to the students sitting before her, tilting her head. Was that one of them?

Sepheran took a deep breath as he stood outside the train doors. Liannan his faithful pet snake was curled around her master's neck as always, her tongue flicked in an out hissing softly into Sepheran's ear now and then as if speaking to him. He had been allowed to bring her only because she helped him get around. Truth be told he would be a total klutz and practically blind without her help. Sephy lifted his hand to gently pat Liannan's head. "Can't be that bad...though maneuvering in a crowed train car might be difficult...I'll be counting on you for help Liannan," Sepheran stated in a soft whisper, Liannan hissed a reply. Another breath for calming as this was his first time meeting all these new people that may or may not become his classmates in the future should he decide to enroll in Amityville Academy, and with that he entered the doorway and into the car to which he had been told he was assigned to.
The basilisk then preceded to look about letting Liannan fill him in on the area and where students seemed to be sitting. His eyes were closed, with natural abilities being blocked it was truly hard to get around. They weren't deadly or anything like his brother's or sisters. Even so it was just easier to leave them closed, it kept him from getting looks as well, and while he could not see them himself Liannan always could tell and Sephy was keen on her feelings.
Turning his head once or twice he slowly began to make his way down the aisle, surprisingly able to avoid bumping up against others...well save for one or two in which he had promptly apologized as he continued to about halfway. He could hear the chatter up front and decided to move a bit further until he reached the middle. Turning towards where Liannan has told him another sat he smiled softly, though his head was actually looking above the boy named Meng Xiang...well not really looking either since his eyes were closed.
"Excuse me...is it alright with you if I sit here?" Sepheran asked politely as he could. Liannan shifted herself peeking her head out of Sephy's hair eyeing the other boy as if studying him. Her tongue flicked a few times before her stare shifted back to Sepheran curling herself back into her usual position with her head close to her master's ear.

She'd mistaken, there was another familiar face in amongst the see of unknowns, and she was extremely surprised she'd missed him. She blamed her sour mood at being split from her friends for the lack of observation. Of course, that didn't change the fact that it had been highly rude of her not to great the giant swamp beast as she passed him.
Leaning forward, the demon folded an arm over the back of the seat in front of her, shifting to move to her knees so she could make herself a bit taller as she leaned forward.
"Mr. G!" Her voice was soft, even when calling across the train, but she'd picked a point where the conversation had quieted a bit before speaking up. "It's good to see you again. Sorry I didn't say hello already." She hoped a heart felt apology and sincere smile would make up for her rudeness. She liked the big green beasty, he was sweet, and made an excellent swimming buddy.
She was too far away from the front to have heard the suspicious scratching.

"Ehh? Sounds tough. I bet you can do it though." He said; attempting to give some encouragement to the big fella'. Hopefully things would go smoothly for G. He'd hate to see him overwork himself. Especially when many students were quite difficult to please.
"So any idea on when we're supposed to be leavi--oof!" He was about to ask when the train was supposed to leave, when someone bumped into him, barely managing to contain a low growl. It was some undead boy, who he had never seen before now...
Ahhh Jeez! It wasn't that crowded yet and already he was getting shoved about? Just how many students were going to be joining them in this train car anyways. Was there a list of some sort that he missed? This was beginning to become a habit of his...
"Hmm? Looks like G is making friends already." He chuckled as the girl--some monster type were creature, he assumed, approached him and began acting quite friendly towards him. Followed by several other students who greeted the swamp beast. Looks like he wouldn't have to worry about G after all.
Unfortunately, because of all the chatter and being at the back of the train car, not even his sensitive ears could pick up the suspicious sounds towards the front of the car.
