Laihu's blushed returned at the other leopard naming him cutie. Surely he wasn't talking about him, was he? He was so shocked that the male had said such a thing, he almost missed his comment about fur chewing, but he was too flustered to reply, his mind turning the word over and over again.
Swallowing, trying not to sound like a complete idiot, he opened his mouth to reassure his companion that the water was safe and cool and nothing to be afraid of. Only...the white male was already in the water. Laihu blinked, Sadara had always hated the water and well...well he was like HIM!
Truly the little healer couldn't get enough of the stuff and would go swimming voluntarily. He smiled, pleased that he'd met another who seemed to enjoy it as well.
" Would..would you mind if I joined you?" He asked in his breathy voice, unsure if he should or not, even though he had told the white male he would wash his back if he wanted him too. Still...better to ask, then to offend.

Dysi gave a pleased sigh as he felt the water washing away the dirt clinging to his fur, turning it first to sloppy mud and then finally disappearing into the water. So much better, he decided, and stretched leisurely, making sure that the water had access to all of the muddy fur. He was still well aware of the male standing nearby, and cast a few glances his way beneath lowered lids.
He hid a smile when the fellow leopard asked to join. "I don't mind in the slightest," he responded promptly, flashing him a warm, welcoming grin. "I don't own the water, and I'd never turn down some company." Especially such nice company, he thought to himself. It had been too long since being around his own kind, he thought with an amused smile, other than a few brief encounters, he was rarely around leopards anymore. Maybe it was time he started to seek them out more? He shook away that thought, refocusing on his current companion with a warm smile.

Liahu knew the blush had returned with a vengeance and he ducked his head as he wadded into the water. He spent several minutes getting the majority of the mud out of his own pastel colored fur, before he turned back to his handsome and very wet companion.
Swallowing past a mouth gone dry, he daringly moved a little closer to him, trying, but failing horribly, not to admire the way the water caught in his fur or how the sun made it shimmer, " Uh..did you still want...hel...help with your back?" He knew he was stammering, but how couldn't he be with such a handsome..really, beautiful...male in the water with him?

Dysi focused on getting any dirt he could reach out of his fur in silence, occasionally glancing across to watch his companion, surprised when the male spoke again and offered to help him bathe. He smiled warmly at the male.
Did he just stammer? That was so cute, Dysi thought, feeling his own skin flush beneath his fur in a light blush. It was flattering to be the source of admiration, and this male seemed to like how he looked. "Sure," he agreed, casting him a warm smile. "I can return the favour as well, if you'd like," he offered, not objectionable to helping this male bathe either.

Liahu ducked his head, his ears laying to each side as he nodded yes, something in his tummy fluttering, " I..I would like that very much." He slipped in a little closer to the other male, scrubbing away as much as the dirt was he could then moving away so that Dysi could so the same for him.
" I...I think you are very handsome Dysi, and..and I am very glad you...let me come into the water with you...and that you helped me...uh....I don't have a real way to repay you...just...just only..my words....I'm sorry I ...don't have anything to give you..."

Dysi purred lightly as the male cleaned him, pleased to feel the grime coming away quite easily amongst the water and the attentions of the other male. Turning to return the favour, he found the slightly stammered conversation so adorable. He smiled at the male.
"No thanks necessary, the pleasure of your company has been very rewarding," he assured him, and perhaps would have asked him to share a den for the night, to extend their meeting but he soon remembered the reason for the plant hunting in the first place, and his face grew serious as he stared at the beautiful male. "I hope your friend recovers swiftly." He wished he could help the male and the male's friend, but he couldn't. Dysi was rubbish with herbs and would be off little use, so he would simply send his prayers and hope to them, and maybe it might help a little.

Liahu gave a bob of his head, " Thank you, I...I think..Sadara will at least." He ducked under the water to rinse off the lather, then pulled himself to the edge, shaking out his fur.
He really liked the other male, really liked him, and if things were not like they were he would have stayed in his company as long as he could have.
" I...I wish I could stay, but..but I really need to get back. I liked the bath Dysi...I hope..to meet you..again. Maybe you can stay awhile longer then."
Blushing furiously at his comment the young healer slipped his bag over his head and backed up down the rocks, keeping the other male in his sight for as ling as he could till he turned tail and trotted off, his stomach still fluttering at the thoughts of the handsome white leopard.
