As the box slid across the ground, Kay noted that it had rolled, even though it was a box and there for a parrallelogram, a few feet away from where it had hit the ground. He hurt his arm a little bit in the process of swinging, but he didn't have much experience with it. As such, he dashed towards the stack again, this time thrusting the blade in an attempt to stab through the boxes as opposed to just knocking them off. If the blade had went through, he would immediately snatch it cleanly out the hole he had created in it, and then run over to the other box. As he neared it, he would stomp down on top of it over and over, trying to crush it but possibly causing himself pain as well, which would deter and weaken the assault. Either way, he hoped to make a solid dent in that box, and a stab would through the other one.

How about now?

I dunno if you saw, but i edited the post. You might have missed it... Or if you intended the "just keep attacking the boxes" for me too, I don't know what happened to them yet.))

Hikaro
After your initial attack, the boxes are scattered about the room, yet don't seem to have taken any more than a small scratch from your attack. Upon turning to make a second assault however, you notice something strange. The boxes are floating in the air inches above the ground, and then begin to rise, slowly lifting higher until they are about three feet off the ground. Attaining that height, they begin to float randomly around the room, stopping occasionally and vibrating, and then moving again in a different direction.
~
Mondude
Your slash strikes true, knocking all of the boxes down and sending them tumbling away from you, yet they don't seem to have taken any real damage despite your blade's sharpness. Before you have the chance to celebrate knocking them over, the boxes start floating, lifting themselves three feet into the air, and floating about the room at random, stopping occasionally and vibrating, and then moving again in a different direction.
~
Kay - Square things can roll you know. It just takes a bit more momentum than normal.
As you stab at one of the boxes, rather than piercing it as intended, your blade just seems to push it away, sending it tumbling a few feet across the floor. As you brutally stomp on another box, you fail to notice the rest lift themselves into the air, where they float in place, angrilly vibrating as the fifth, the target of your stomping, lets out a shrill whine. The other four boxes, seemingly reacting to the noise, completely encircle you, and launch themselves at you from all directions as the fifth suddenly heaves itself into the air, pushing your leg up along with it.

Taking notice of a vibrating sound behind him as he ragefully stomped on his target, he was caught off guard by the shrill whine it let out, stopping as it shot up from the ground and knocked him off balance. "Ouch!" he would exclaim as one of the boxes hit him while he fell to the ground. The others however, unless they could change direction on a whim or stop, would slam into each other and be forced to back away. Either way he would roll backwards, rubbing his back, and then jumped and spun swinging the blade in a circle to knock away any oncoming boxes while he thought about what to do about these odd boxes.

Hikaro looked at the boxes, now scattered about the room. None of them seemed properly damaged. Something was wrong, no normal box could hold up against a sword! The sword was undamaged as well, showing no sign of wear. She had already instinctively brought her weapon back to her ready stance, but she didn't attack. The boxes seemed to be floating! They seemed to be slowly lifting higher, and she watched quietly. Eventually they stopped rising, but they were now floating about three feet off the ground. They shortly began to float randomly around the room, as if on top of disrutbed water. Occasionally they would stop and vibrate, before continuing their aimless journey. Hikaro pushed one away as it came near, and observed the results. then immediately moved away from the biggest mass of boxes and brought her blade straight back down on the nearest box.

"Yes! Victory!" Mondude yelled outloud, which usually he would be catious of if other people were in the room. As he looked at the crates again, the rose up into the air, moving around. Mondude moved left and right, wanting to be sure that they didn't touch him. It's when he noticed no damage was done to the crates. If these could take that much damage wtihout showing it, these were no ordinary crates and who knew what else they could do. This had ot be a dream, Mondude thought as he held his sword vertically in front of him with both hands. As a box moved towards him, at his right, Mondude stabbed at the object with his sword in his right hand, shifting his body to face his target. The tip of the sword seemed to shine as Mondude put all of his strength into that one stab.

Kay - Vibration doesn't really make any sound unless it's extremely rapid vibration, such as what the one you were stomping gave off to create the shrill.
The boxes came to a halt in midair, inches from each other, before, as one, they spread wide, forming a wall, the one Kay had stopped taking it's place at the center. And then they shot forwards, towards him, encircling him once more from just outside the reach of his blade. Three of them dropped down low, shooting in from three differing angles. Had Kay been standing still, it would be one from the front or rear, and one on either side. The remaining two shot towards his head from opposite sides, aiming to crush it between them.
Hikaro - I love the way you described what you were seeing, as it is precisely what I imagine this stage to be like. However -
The very instant Hikaro touched one of the boxes to push it away, it began to rapidly vibrate, until a shrill whine could easily be heard, and the rest of the boxes stopped in place. After a mere instant, the four shot towards her, aiming to bash into whatever portion of her body they could reach.
Mondude
Even as you attempted to sneak around the boxes, they all seemed to lock onto you, and charged, shooting towards you in an attempt to bash you to death by blunt side, or sharp corner.
~
These boxes are not nearly as easy to make epic posts for as I had expected. But then, I'm also working towards a goal here, when usually I'm just aiming to kill people with them. Anyways, you're all doing pretty good, so keep it up. Sorry about the delay too, I have a tendency of stretching myself too thin, and this is one of the first things to be dropped when that happens.

Hikaro was startled by the noise, a loud whine that was like nails on a chalkboard. Then something smashed into her chest. It was the box she had pushed. She fell on her back and rolled to her feet, in time to dodge two more as the rushed past her. "Guess they didn't like that?" The room was enough to deal with, it was almost like she was in a large emptiness. She couldn't even feel the floor, though her feet were bare. Perhaps the boxes don't exist either? Another came into range, and Hikaro dropped to the ground and rolled to the side, hoping it wouldnt have enough time to change course (if it could.) If it missed, she would jump back to her feet and run towards the now clear area where most of the boxes had come from. No, if these things are fake they are damned good ones. Not worth the risk.

As he was encircled he began to get nervous. Two of them dropped low. So many boxes. He noticed that the boxes were perfectly in sync. Disorienting them, if possible, would be extremely difficult. He also noticed that for some reason the boxes weren't taking any damage. And why could the boxes float? What on earth was going on. He felt like they were holding something more than empty space. Acting on this thought, he jumped off one of the three that had dropped low. Pushing off of it and moving just ouf of the other two boxes paths. But he knew that they were going to be coming at him again anyway, from experience, and jumped again dashing off hoping they weren't following with his blade out. He knew their had to be a wall somewhere, and he was running towards it. His blade impacted it lightly and he turned quickly prepared to take whatever was coming by avoiding it and hopefully allowing it to destroy itself with it's own momentum as it came to him with no knowledge of the wall.

Mondude kept moving, holding his sword in front of him. Then, the boxes seemed to turn. It was terrifying. The boxes all floating, locked onto him, with nothing but seemingly infinte white space in the background. Mondude just felt like breaking. Why was he fighting this crates? How were they so powerful? Why? WHY? If his sword could not hurt them, why try? Mondude was about to let the crates just hit him, to end this. But he came to his senses not a moment to soon. The crates began to fly towards him at very fast speeds. Those things would pulverise him. "HOLY BALLS!" Mondude seemed to be possesd as he ran towards the first box, hurdlign clear over it, ducking and avoiding a second wooden bullet. He pushed off nimbly from his crouch to his left, narrowly dodging the third crate, and he could almost feel splinters coming off the crate. The final two crates flew at him as the others regrouped. Mondude got up and charged them again. As he was about to make contact with the fourth box, he darted quickly ot the right in a zig zag, then pushed of with all his might, his muscles bulging, to his left, and he performed a slash from left to right. He would move past the wodden crate, avoiding it's sharp corner while the arc of the blade would have trailed behind him into the crate. Mondude turned around, winded. Since when was he this agile? He waited for the boxes' next move.
