"Awh MAN boss that crap smells!" Fayalite had to fite the urge to pinch her nose together, a moment before she let out a cough. Stumbling forward she felt a rush of air go back behind her, figuring that was Selenite trying to also make an attack...
Kicking out with one of her boots, she too would find she missed her target.

As though on cue a second smoke pellet joined the first, a sharp click as it resounded off the brick work and clatter as it rolled across the metal grid, seemed he'd practiced aiming through the smoke, at least with his sling shot.
"You need to be able to listen, hear where they are...remember height and weight, consider likely hood that they will be reaching in the smoke... you can do this..." He told them with no forgiveness in his tone. It was as forgiving as it got that he hadn't brought out the real knives yet.

She'd missed; it was to be expected, really. Half-expected and half not was Fayalite's follow up, something that missed only because Selenite had kept moving, leaving her able to watch the smoke swirl around the path that her attack had taken.
Well, that gave her an idea about where Fayalite should be. Hopefully; her complaint to Zink also gave a better idea. She hadn't missed the sound of another smoke pellet being released, which meant that there wouldn't be much chance of a reprieve any time soon. A quick movement forward with a questing swing of her arm didn't net any contact, but Selenite knew better than to stand still and let someone take advantage of her blindness.

She had to clamp her mouth shut from swearing as the second smoke pellet was sent in. DAMNIT wasn't ONE enough!? She found it oddly unfair that zink was the one whom could see and breath.
...Though she thinks she understands the point. Maybe.
Listening, she heard a blind swing... or so she thought. Taking a chance the lieutenant ran forward, aiming for anything possible. She hit!..Something. Not sure what she wasn't about to be caught off guard... so she leapt back into the smoke.
Only to be gabbed at with a pole. "DAMNIT!" She cried out, slapping her hand over her mouth. Her temper was going to one day get the better of her...

"Words give you away Lieutenant, but I think you figured that out..." Zinkenite scolded from below shifting the pole in his hands as he waited for their next moves. "Better than training with live Yoma and knives I hope... at least until you graduate to them..."
There was a warning for things to come.

((I think the first pellet is gone now? So we're back to minus three~If I'm wrong, let me know and I'll fix.))
The smoke had faded slightly, making Fayalite's silhouette slightly visible, which wasn't all that great of news since it was coming right for her. Dodging to one side, Selenite took a grazing blow against her ribs while slashing out again.
Resting for a moment wasn't really possible as the pole came shooting up at her. Selenite danced away from it quickly while continuing to stay as silent as she could. The clatter of boots wasn't really something she had a lot of control over, after all.

(...i think fay just stacked another on XD lets be blessed its not tear gas!)
The clatter of boots was what gained the females attention. After dodging a near hit she ran forward, following the sound and making another slash at Selenite.
She of course was making quite a lot of noise, so it would have been easy for her to hear fayalite coming.

There was a quick launch of two more pellets, and the smoke swirled about them thicker than ever. Cursing mostly under her breath, Selenite whirled about, getting herself a bit disoriented and leaving her open for a quick strike from Fayalite.
Making it worse, while trying to get away again, she managed to not only not hit her opponent, but managed to get herself in front of the stick again, earning herself another chalk mark.
