Butter yellow eyes watched curiously as Castille explained and demonstrated how she shook presents. "It won't mess up the wrapping?" She asked curiously as she was handed the box and attempted to do the same as Castille, only to move it a bit faster than older girl.
There were certain things that took finesse and well Istas sometimes took a bit to figure out that it was required more than just in coloring and making pretty pictures. She realized however it seemed to make more noise than it had when the older girl had moved the book and pondered for a second turning it over in palms as if to inspect the box.
"I have this set..." She said after a second of looking at it, "This and the princess one, the pirates often try to steal the princess but she's good at defending herself." Istas nodded mater of factually with a smile, "Do you like legos?" She seemed curious of Castille and the girl's likes besides taking pictures.

"I love legos!" she exclaimed, looking at the large shelf of them. "When I was a kid I think i had.....this one." she said, pointing to one box, "And this one." It was he dinosaur set. "And Kaylee had.......uhmmm" She paused, looking at all the boxes. "Well, she had one that I guess they don't sell anymore!" She shrugged, looking more closely at the box Istas was holding.
"Pirates huh? That's a cool set. How does the princess defend herself?" Castille crossed her legs and sat down, looking at the now taller little girl. Istas hasd given her an idea. Maybe Tyler would like legos....

Istas smiled, "Wow you had a lot!" Her curls bounced as her head moved to each box. She paused, "Oh? That's a shame when they don't sell them anymore. Maybe not many people liked it?"
She watched the older girl sit down, "Well she's sorta like that Princess on Shrek. She knows how to defend herself, oh and those girls with the skirts." Istas nodded, "The ones they call terrorists on TV. She has magics!"

At the mention of terrorists, Castille tilted her head to one side in confusion. "Your a little too little to be knowin' what terrorists are, aren't ya?
" She put her hand under her chin, thinking. Now where had she heard that same thing before......?
She then remembered not too long ago, sitting on their couch at home, listening to the news while finishing up a homework assignment. Her father had mumbled something about "Halloween coming early" as blurry pictures of strangely dressed boys and girls flashed across the screen. She had merely dismissed it as some high school prank.
"You saying those kids have magic powers?" She asked, trying very hard to keep disbelief out of her voice. Magic powers were a thing of imagination, a figment of a young mind. Castille knew this, but part of her always wanted to have magical powers herself.

Istas paused, "I heard it on the News when mommy and daddy were watching it." She explained, with a nod, "They use it all the time."
She chuckled, watching Castille curiously, she nodded, "I met a few of them. They're like super heroes." She said, "Only in prettier outfits than Superman or Wonder Woman."
She wiggled slightly looking at Legos, "Who were you shopping for?" She asked curiously, knowing that most of the time older kids don't visit toy stores, except for Christmas time.

"You've met them before huh?" she asked, thoroughly interested in the topic at hand "How old were they? Like, your age, or my age? Or grown up?" she sighed wistfully, "I wish I could meet one of hem...or be one myself!" The thought of having super powers, fighting for good made her heart race.
She shook her head when the topic changed. "Oh, I'm shopping for my little brother. Or step-brother rather." she amended. "It's hard to shop for 11 year old boys. How am I supposed to know what they want?"

Istas nodded her head, "They were older, not adults though." She said with a pause and nodded, "Most of them seem pretty nice too."
"Iunno why the news makes them out to be so bad."
She paused tilting her head, "Hm... What about comics? There boys at my school that seem to like those comic books. Maybe he'd like one of those? I mean of course the boys I go to class with aren't as old as him, but still." She thought it sounded like a good idea anyways.

"Comics huh? That might just work...." the wheels were turning now in Castille's head as she ran through her mind all of the comic book heroes she thought Tyler would know.
"Well if they are not so bad, then why don't they tell the news people that" she said softly, more to herself than Istas. These super-suited boys and girls were popping up more and more around town, and Castille was curious as all get out. She stood slowly, stretching her legs out to get the blood flowing to her feet which were both asleep. She shook her left foot as it began to tingle and then she wiped the back of her jeans to get any dirt that had stuck to her off. "Well, I think that comics are a good idea! Thanks for the tip!" she said, looking down at the girl and smiling.

Istas smiled and nodded as she watched Castille think. When the question of why didn't they go to news and tell them Istas pondered, "Maybe they can't?" She offered after a second.
She wasn't sure why, "I mean, it'd be like Superman having to convince people he was good. Wouldn't it? If no one knew superman was a hero wouldn't they be afraid of him?"
She nodded smiling, at the other girl, "I should actually go see if mom's ready to go...." She said after a second with a frown before continuing, "It was nice meeting you and you're welcome!"

"It was very nice to meet you!" Castille said to Istas, waving to her and smiling to the young girl. "Maybe I will see you around town sometime?" She started to walk away, and then turned in the crowd and said back to Istas loudly "Merry Christmas kiddo!"
She wandered out of the store, and pulled out her cell phone. After sending her father a quick text and getting a reply from her father, she stood by the door and waited.
Next stop: the comic book store.
