Would his abilities affect a ghost? Or perhaps I should say, is there anyone that isn't affected by his abilities because of their nature?
I would think that they'd feel the same thing, only it would be a far less intensity as they aren't really solid themselves, unless they solidified and
then touched him. :3

Will he learn how to turn off the ability? Certain spells, or FEAR manipulation, perhaps?
I was thinking that he'd be able to repress it a little bit, if he concentrated hard enough, though he wouldn't be able to do this for a long time (second or third year, perhaps).

What did he do about the girl that his father had?
He... pretty much left her. XD;; Which was a pretty asshat thing to do, but he didn't know what else
to do. Of course, he made sure she was safe (he didn't leave her right in that room), but he left her kinda like one leaves a loved one - just left the state/country/isle. So it's quite possible that she's still pining after him! Unbeknownst to him, she was really in love with him, so his ability did not affect her, which also quite possibly might have made her distraught, angry, or wanting nothing to do with him. I didn't develop her much in case someone else wanted to quest for her, or the like.
As for Marosa, he still thinks about her every single day.

What type of personality can he NOT deal with?
The intense touchy feely type. He'll get REALLY fed up and finally use his ability, but he'd feel really really guilty afterwords and still try to avoid them.

What's he really good at, other than D&H? Does he have any special talents he'll discover in school?
One I'm really leaning towards is being able to play an instrument. Maybe the bagpipes, or something similar/smaller.
