Pirata laughed..a tinkling sound that might have been sweet or cute on a more regular mare but was simply..creepy..on one such as her. "Oh Boi is a funny swamp beast isn't he my darlings" She spoke to the spiders in an amused voice. "Little does he know that what he describes is just what we are looking for!" She continued with another of her creepy laughs before turning her head to blink glowing eyes at the stallion.

"Gators and snakes are good food - my pets will capture and bite them and twist them all about in they're pretty webs, after a while the bones shall be pretty decorations don't you think. Yoooou don't want to be a decoration do you Boi'Tata? Surely not I don't think it is pleasant for the beasties" She told him with another laugh although it failed to reach her eyes which had a hard suspicious edge to them "Why would I want to live in a place where beings akin to slaves traipse about all the time? I have a slave...I might take another but no more then that and so seclusion is a fine and dandy prospect," She shared with the stallion. "You would not try to run a lady out of her home..would you dear Boi? Boi would not like being a slave...friend..companion..beloved pet...much finer options"

Well, he supposed he shouldn't be too shocked by the mare's reaction. After all she did hang out with spiders and had some very valid points. It seemed that no matter what Boi said that Pirata was not going to leave. Perhaps he ought to just get used to the fact that the mare was going to be a new permanent resident in his swamp? He didn't like it, not one bit, but there wasn't really anything that he could do. He could try to fight her, but Boi had never been a stallion to fight, especially not a mare, no matter how... odd, she might be.

"Well then." He told her, trying to seem a bit happier at the prospect than he really was. "It seems you've found yourself the perfect home and I have myself a new neighbor." The stallion had paid attention to her slave remark and didn't intend to end up as one himself. "You mentioned a slave?" He said, changing the subject. Perhaps later he could figure out how to get rid of the mare. "Where is it now?" He asked genuinely curious.

"Hopefully sinking in a mud hole" Pirata remarked dryly as the stallion mentioned her slave her ears flicking slightly before she sighed slightly "But then I suppose I will just have to find another and wouldn't that be troublesome" She sulked with an angry swish of her tail before brightening suddenly..as though she had just had a wondrous idea, and she supposed that she had, at least to her mind.

"But a nice new neighbor who knows the swamp could surely save me from such trouble" She remarked with a sly look to Boi'Tata "She is a foolish mare, stumbling and bumbling about in a panicked attempt to flee most likely...no trouble for such a fine strong stallion like yourself..."

At once the stallion regretted his words. Now he was to play fetch with this slave. He didn't like being asked to do such a thing and feeling obliged to do it. It felt that to him he was the slave, at least for a moment. Then he considered his options. Boi could just tell her no. Sure the mare would be upset and perhaps angry with him, but he did have that option. With a little sigh he consented to finding the mare. It wouldn't do to have his new 'neighbor' upset with him. Perhaps if he found this slave then he could return to his life and Pirata would owe him. Sure she wouldn't move, but maybe he could just avoid her if he needed to.

"I can do that." He nodded to her, actually somewhat excited by the idea. It would be another game for him, and if this slave was anything like the rest of the fools that he had encountered, then it should be just as easy. "Where was the last place that you saw her?" Any information that he could gather would help him find her faster.

What a good little neighbor he was being Pirata thought to herself as the stallion accepted the nasty tone in his voice from earlier an almost distant memory to her now. She'd probably forget all about it fairly soon...such things were generally not worth remembering and to be honest she had a hard enough time trying to keep track of names and faces she knew let alone bothering with nebulous things like 'feelings'.

"When was that my pretties?" She mused to the spiders who waved they're multi-legs about in a way that might have been an answer - or might have just been the typical movements of spider like creatures. It was hard to tell though Pirata decided to see it as an answer. "Ah yes along the trail a ways back she took advantage of my pets displeasure over a snake to bolt..I might have followed her but my poor pets were so upset" She said the last in a bab like voice as she lowered her muzzle to one of the spiders who tapped it with it's legs. Pulling her head up she fixed Boi'Tata with a cunning gaze. "I'm sure there are tracks - she is not a very worldly mare"

Boi-Tatá pondered her words for a moment. It seemed that she might not be too hard to find. At least this was hoping that she had actually left tracks, and Pirata seemed sure that she had. He also knew that she was not in the direction from which he came and would most likely have backtracked whatever way she came in with the mare. If he could have that bit of information the swamp and it's creatures would quite easily provide him with the rest of the knowledge that he would need.

"Which direction did you come from?" He asked Pirata, all business now and any other feelings that he may have had were now banished from thought. This was his game, and nothing would interrupt it until he had reached his goal. "If you can tell me that much I should be on my way and back quite quickly. Will you be staying in this area?" Not that it would be too hard to find her again but it would be easier if she stayed in one place.

"We have not gone to the trouble of picking this locale and building this home only to abandon it!" Pirata sniffed as though the mere thought of such an atrocity was unheard of - imagine putting all that effort into something only to leave it behind..how absurd. Still despite the one silly question the rest of his comments made some sense and she weaved about for a few moments, quietly discussing things with her eight legged friends as she recalled the pat they had taken into the swamp.

After a few moments she thought he had the majority of it remembered and sidled closer to Boi'Tata. 'We recall traveling with the sun to our backs along a path edged in weeping trees, their feet sunk deep into the mud" She told the stallion "The mare bolted when the trees ended and the water was clotted by blooms of green slime"

Nodding as he listened to the mare speak, Boi-Tatá absorbed everything that she told him. He looked in the direction that the sun had set, a direction that he was familiar with, and then looked the opposite to where he knew it would rise. Ah! She had come from that direction then. Hopefully he would find the mare and return quickly.

He nodded to Pirata and began to take his leave. She had mentioned an area in the swamp that he was familiar with, and he left her to to her building. He hadn't actually thought that she would leave, the he had hoped that she'd changed her mind. No matter. He would go in search of this slave and be back before sunrise. Then this mare would owe him. Quickly, he made his way through the swamp, leaving the mare far behind him.
