"I think," Scylla said finally, cautiously, watching decapitated youma body parts spitting snowballs around weakly, "That now is a good time to get out of Dodge." she reached out for Sailor Maia too late, watching the redhead jump at a snowman and knock him onto his back.
"Scylla's Hunger!" she snapped, and at her will more tentacles exploded from the snow, one of them coming up right under a snowman and sending it flipping into the air. As it came down, the three projectiles it got off before crashing and exploding into snowflakes hit "Super" (she wasn't feeling it) Scylla in their targeted locations. Kneecap, shoulder, and head.
The senshi of the Kraken was looking like a snowman herself as her tentacles whipped around, ripping into the snowman army. "We need to make a retreat!" It was best to lead through example, and she darted outside of the area that the Kraken limbs were covering. It really was inspiring to see snowballs and snowflakes flying everywhere. Just not to be in the blast radius.

They weren't loosing, but they weren't winning either, so the chances were they probably wouldn't. Maia was tired, but she had indeed learned her lesson, practice was meant for safe secure places when one is patrolling.
She was whacking at a snowman that was way to close, when she literally had to dodge a tentacle and was dusted with snow, from a snowman that had been pulverized and then when she looked up again, Scylla had said something about retreating and run off. Maia was quick to jump up and follow, running as fast as she could to keep up with the super senshi, who was high tailing it out of there.
"I do not think I will ever make a snowman again," she huffed winded while running.

"Don't blame the snowmen." Scylla was barely winded, used to sprinting and running. "They are mostly cute and harmless. These? These are the descendants of Frosty. Thumpity-thump-thump my a... butt." She could still hear the thumping of snowballs behind them, but eventually things were winding down as her limbs made short work of the snowy devils, cutting them into smashed up little bits.
Her face was pale, having used a considerable amount of energy to summon all of her limbs, and the the damage that they had each taken from the snowballs. She had several visible bruises forming, standing out starkly on her flesh. Finally, at last, the noises ground to a halt, and the Senshi of the Kraken relaxed, shoulders dropping from their tense position.
"Do me a favor," she said finally, "And don't ever practice in the middle of nowhere with no backup, please? Your attack might not have worked on them because they were snowmen, or maybe they had no mind, or.. Why were you using your power on something that wasn't necessarily even a youma, anyway?"
Super Sailor Scylla was going Mommy.

Maia frowned slightly at Scylla's statement, her joke? It wasn't funny as far as Maia was concerned. She was sure she would eventually make another snowman, but not until the image and especially the bruises from being attacked by them went away. It would take years. Wasn't Frosty friendly anyway.
Maia relaxed as Scylla relaxed huffing slightly her energy draining out of her quite efficiently. She felt hot and rather dizzy, so Scylla scolding was met with raised hands and a body language that said, okay, I get it, never again.
"It would have worked, it worked on the mud monster, both of them. It probably irritated them, that and kicking them over and I wasn't thinking about the snowmen not being youma, I will a little frustrated, kind of distracted. Stupid, I know, please don't remind me."
She groaned lightly and swayed on her feet. "I think I had better get home, just got to sit down for a minute, then home, yes home."

Scylla nodded, watching the other senshi sway. "Do you think you'll make it home?" she asked, watching the other woman's face twist. "If so, here." she 'scanned' the other senshi into her cell. "Let me know if you need anything in the future. And be careful."

Maia nodded and took out her own phone quickly scanning in Scylla. "I will be just fine, I do not have to go far actually. My brother should be around her soon to pick me up. Guess I am lucky in that he knows huh, makes this whole business a tiny bit easier."
Maia wobbled slightly, but otherwise seemed okay, "Thank for all the help and advice. I promise to call if I need anything. Goodnight Scylla."
With that she turned to find a good place to get out of her fuku and find her brother. She just wanted to crash in the back seat and was very happy tonight she had told him to come. She was wobbly in her step, but she kept going just the same.
