She smiled at the little foal and nodded. "Yes, happy little babies that seem to be rather restless at the moment." She couldn't help but to chuckle at his questions. Yes little questions and all full of wonder. Little ones were a glorious thing. Bright eyed and innocent, they never ceased to amaze her. She had t wonder though. What would her own little ones be like when they grew old enough to leave the baskets they'd be put in after birth.
She smiled looking at her friend. "I'm sure you're right and that I'll be fine. I am just a little scared though.. So many uncertainties.. But I keep reminding myself that regardless of it all, before long I'll have little bundles of joy and that sort of washes away all my fears..."

Renesme knew that she would probably be late if they didn't leave now... they needed to get back for the Christianing; a special event in the Miakoda herd were all the females welcomed the new additions. For the herd it was just as important that the foals felt a connection between the mares and the stallions, and this was achieved in different ways. Sengdroma -the alpha- was the one leading the ceremony. And although she wouldn't be mad at them being late Renesme had never liked letting her down.
"You will be fine. They will be perfect... and they will have you wondering what you have let loose on the world before you even realise it." She said with a chuckle as she thought back to all the mischief Crown and his two siblings got into. "Mud.... avoid mud." She said sbsentmindely as she turned to her friend and giggled once more. "It only get's messy." She smiled and looked to Crown. "Are you ready?"
Crown listened and nodded as Shosanna spoke, then as his mother looked at him he smiled and nodded enthusiastically. "Yes Mummy. I have the blue flowers." He said as he pointed his nose to the ground before starting to pick them up once more.

She couldn't help but laugh once more. "Mud... hm I'll have to keep an eye on that then." She couldn't help but to figure she'd have her hooves full with her little ones already thinking back on what she could remember about her own tame as a foal. Glancing to the sky, she gave a small sigh. "I had better not keep you two though it was good to see you and a delight to meet your son." She cast a gentle smile at the foal. "I really need to see about finding the father.. while I'm still able to wonder about looking for him that is." She couldn't help but to chuckle. She'd heard that some mares took ill towards the end of their pregnancy. "I'll see you again though. Take care you two." Turning she started to leave.

Renesme nodded and smiled at her friend, standing to her hooves she walked over to her and gave her a kiss. "For luck. You will find this stallion of yours... and he will be happy. You'll see." She smiled and looked over at her son.
"Come on you.... we're going to be late." She chuckled at the sight, he was holding as many blue flowers as he could, each sticking out at a different angle. Each... wild.
Crown tried not to crush the flowers but looked to the mare that was his mothers friend and didn't want to be rude. He managed to get out a quick; "beebi" (Bye bye) before he followed eagerly after his mother... he was desperate to know what all these preparations had been for.
