Maia's somewhat wild kick managed to tag Selenite's leg and send her stumbling away, though she thankfully managed to keep her balance and not fall over. There had been a bit of recoil transmitted down the silvery pointer, which gave the bluenette a little flush of pleasure. She'd obviously hit the senshi, and it was time to follow that up with another strike.
Gathering momentum again, Selenite came at her opponent with pointer held high once more. It was, however, a bit of misdirection as her free hand formed into a fist to hopefully punch the senshi when she attempted to ward off the pointer's bite.

Maia frowned seeing another attack coming her way and this time she made to dodge, but unfortunately she managed to slip on some snow, her arms flailing about wildly as she fell to the side. Her cheek lighting up at her embarrassing folly.
She did not noticed the other's swinging fist, not until it connected with her side and redirected the path of her fall so instead on landing on her bottom, she landed on her side. Now she hurt on both side and was extremely irritated at being one upped by a girl with a little stick.
Maia groaned and rolled, trying to hop up quickly. She needed to get another attack in or she saw this girl possibly knocking her all around the block.

Well. This was going much better than the bluenette could have hoped for. There was a senshi on the ground in front of her, and while she was hurting from that snowball from earlier, as well as the kick, it was clear that she'd taken less overall damage than her opponent.
A couple of quick and cautious steps brought Selenite over to the downed senshi, and she pulled her leg back in order to deliver a rather vicious kick to the other girl's side. A grin twisted her face as she readied the blow, not expecting anything to go wrong.

Maia was attempting to get back up, but she the other was upon her quickly a leg rearing back to kick Maia which caused Maia to quickly drop back down, flat to the ground. Her hand shot out to grab the girl's other leg and she pulled as hard as she could hoping to knock the girl onto her bottom. She hoped the girl, liked the cold, wet ground about as much as she did.
She did wait for the girl to land before she was scrambling away and hopping back up onto two legs. She turned ready to send another attack at the girl, she only had two attacks left before she would start to overtire. She had to make it work.
"Sweet Harmony," she called out letting the music fill her.

She'd already prepared a taunt for when her boot connected with the other girl's side, so being dumped on her backside came as a complete shock for the Lieutenant, who landed on the ground with a sharp, explosive exhalation. Suddenly the tables had been turned and Selenite sat on the ground for a moment to recover her breath.
A moment too long, as it turned out; the senshi had started her next attack and the bluenette had no idea how she could stop the effect of calming lethargy from sweeping over her. Scrambling to her feet, she lunged towards her opponent, hoping to shut her up before the attack could get started.
((No idea! I'm not terribly concerned either way, haha. Umm~Maybe randomize a number? Odd Selenite, even Maia?))

Maia watched as the notes formed in front of her, rainbow colored translucent notes, popping into existence as she sang. She barely noticed the other lunge for her, but she did notice, giving a look of utter confusion because the lunge would send her right through the notes. Maia wasnt sure how affective halved attack would be but she jumped out of the way effectively ending her attack.

Well, that was...interesting, Selenite noted absently in one corner of her mind. If the senshi moved, the attack had to stop, which, hm. Her train of thought gently came to a stop as the halved - but still effective - attack brought on by the notes came into play. Shaking her head like a punch drunk fighter, the Lieutenant waved her pointer at Maia in what she hoped was a threatening motion.
All it really did, though, was make her look like she really was drunk. And leave her fairly wide open for an attack. Stupid senshi magic.

Maia almost laughed at how funny the attack looked when it was only at half strenght. The other was wobbling and looked rather unbalanced, so it was rather hard for her not restrain from laughing, but she knew such things had no place in the battle.
She had an opening and she had to take it. She ran at the other girl and jumped aiming to kick her right in the stomach. She was ready for this battle to be over. Tired and cold, Maia really just wanted more than anything to spend the rest of the night under the thick comforter in the warmth of her bed.

The senshi's kick landed exactly where she aimed it, sending Selenite backwards while windmilling her arms wildly in an attempt to keep her balance. This effort, though valiant, was ultimately futile and the bluenette landed squarely on her a** once more.
"Call it quits?" she offered pantingly after a moment's break to catch her breath. There was snow in places she'd really rather not think about, although the slow trickle of melting water did give rise to a pang of sympathy for the much less warmly (and sensibly) dressed senshi. This quickly suffocated, but the point was more or less valid.
