Ithi smiled, "I hope so." She then looked at the female, turquoise eyes watching the large stomach where lay how ever many cubs this lioness was going to have. "Have you any family other then Enki and the family here?" It was a bold question but the lionesses curiosity took hold of her.

Kinyamkela smiled, a touch sadly. "Here? This is all my family now. Where I was born, my siblings, my twin brother... they are far over the mountains." She indicated the stark ranges from which the waterfalls issued, and the smiled fondly. "Kisulisuli... my brother, he will be the Steward of our pride - my old pride," she corrected herself. "It was he who encouraged me to go out and discover whether our histories were true, by travelling over the mountains. And it is all true! And now I have my beloved mate Enki, and a sworn brother in Maji... this is my home now, this is my family." She turned serene golden eyes to the younger lioness. "The Tufani'wana will prosper on the other side of the mountains, but they are not mine any more."

Ithi listened and nodded, "Well your story is I guess somewhat normal. I left my family, couldn't wait to get rid of them, I regret that somewhat now though. I do miss mother and Hisani and Tumai. I don't know. If Tumai has been around then maybe I will see him again." She stopped talking and seemed to go into somesort of dreamworld as she didn't know what to say and thoughts of the her cubhood came back, she had been a horrid sister.

"Well, let us look to the future then," 'Kela said cheerfully. "There is no use dwelling on the past, I find. I'm sure you will see your brother again, and us, this place... the pride will become strong. And I will teach my little ones of the blessings we are given, and hope..."
The snow-and-silver lioness tilted her head towards the yellow, sickly sun-filled sky above them.
".. and hope that rain will fall again."

Ithi looked to the sky as she spoke, the hot sun mocking them. "Rain would be lovely..." She smiled and then looked back to the lioness, "Thank you, very much for being so nice." She bowed her head to the lioness and looked back in the direction she had came. Maybe it was time to do some more exploring, she had more questions but they could wait!

"I hope we meet again," Kinyamkela called after her. It was... interesting to finally meet this young lioness she had heard so much about. It seemed she had done some growing up, at least... perhaps, if both she and Maji could put the past behind them, they might even get along.
She hadn't seen Maji in so long... after the cubs came she must find him again. After all, he should be able to see his adoptive nieces and nephews. A fond smile on her face, the lioness flopped heavily down in the shade, and closed her eyes lazily. Perhaps some sleep was in order.

Ithi smiled as she heard her call, "I do to!" She smiled before rushing off, she had to find someone else now, didn't matter who, she just wanted to make friends, have a fresh start at life.
