Bo was a very kind person, but he was not entirely polite. He did things because he wanted to, always in the hopes of having more fun. It did not occur to him that romping through her house soaking wet might be a problem, not even as he swan-dived into her very soft, very warm bed. "This is what sleeping on a cloud must feel like..." he murmured into one downy pillow.

Downstairs, he heard Adira call his name. "I will give you one guess where I am!" he shouted back. "It is a sexy place where magic may or may not happen." The last part was muffled, but Bo laughed anyway.

Well, at least until he heard the frustration in Adira's voice.

The tall boy hopped out of the bed immediately, accidentally taking a pillow with him and stepping squarely on it. "Whoops," he said. Bo bent to pick it up, brushing it off with one hand. It didn't get rid of the gray smear. "Good as new?" He tried to hand it to her, but then tossed it back on the bed.

After all, Adira had just mentioned getting naked. Sort of. Without warning, Bo whipped off his jacket, sweater, and undershirt. The bundle got stuck on his head, but he yanked it free, dropping it all on the floor. His hair was a mess, but the grin on his face said that he just did not care. "This is better," he said. "Now... you?" There was a slight hopefulness in his voice.

Just a little. A little.

Adira smiled a bit like a resigned mom does every time their child did something bad that wasn't quite bad enough to discipline them for. And after all, she was not his mother and he'd done no real harm. Nothing that couldn't be fixed with a few towels and, in the case of her pillow, a washing machine.

The quiet flurry of clothes was a bit shocking, and she stood in the middle of her room blinking at the now half naked boy standing by her bed. "Um..wow." Adira had seen Neso's chest before, of course, but something about seeing Bo's equally as golden skin was much more...intimate, for lack of a better word. She stared for a second before her bright eyes moved back up to their intended target.

Without answering his question, Adira reached up a hand to draw Bo's face down for a kiss. Not exactly an innocent peck, but not anything that implied further action either. She broke away with a boyish grin and moved over to the armoire in the corner. "I don't know if I have anything that'll fit you in the slightest...but I'm sure I'll find something." She turned away from him, digging through the cedar drawers in hopes of finding something suitable.

"There are towels in the bathroom if you want, and a dryer down the hall downstairs for your clothes. Or you could hang them by the fireplace too if you wish." Adira's sweater stayed firmly in place, probably just a little disappointing for Bo.

When Adira reached for his face, Bo drew in a low rumble of approval. So this was... this was really happening? One muscled arm cupped her hip, pulling her closer. The other slowly began to slide up the smooth skin of her waist.

And then she broke away to the armoire.

Bo stood there stupidly for a moment, hands still poised as if he was holding an imaginary girl. Dropping his head, the boy let out a low chuckle, like he knew exactly what she was doing to him and wanted her to know it too. Her back was to him. He stared at her for awhile as she spoke.

Quietly, Bo crossed to Adira as she sorted through the drawers. The weight of his body pressed against her back, and he curled one hand around her stomach, burying his face in her hair. "I don't need a towel," he said, brushing her ear with his lips. "I just need you." The tall boy craned down and planted a single kiss on the side of her neck.

His other arm curled around her, and Bo squeezed her into a gentle hug. "Or maybe the fireplace would be nice, too." His arms slackened slightly. A part of him wanted to break away in the same way that she had done to him, but Bo enjoyed holding Adira far too much to do that voluntarily.

The touch of his hand on her bare skin had been like fire, spreading heat across her entire body. A blush tinged her cheeks when she turned away from him...the choice had been made both easier and harder at the same time. The rules of flirtation were not new for Adira, she'd been through enough rigorous social training to know when to stay and when to break off. Bo was beginning to blur that line for her, and she wasn't sure how to handle it.

She'd figure it out another day. She was focused on rummaging through drawers when the sudden warm presence at her back interrupted her thought pattern. Before she could turn or speak, Bo's lips were whispering sweet nothings in her ear and a soft kiss to the neck that made her go rigid. Her neck and ears had always been sensitive, and the brush of lips there had been something else entirely. Unexpected, to say the least.

What was this? A situation that always prepared Adira didn't know how to handle? It was certainly something new. "Um, I...I can certainly start a fire." She paused, realizing that sounded incredibly stupid. "In the fireplace."

Had a desk been present, she might have slammed her head into it. The gentle hug and the constant presence of warmth at her back was not helping her to think at all. Adira's saving grace came in the form of a gray pinstriped shirt dress, tucked in the back of her drawers. With a triumphant noise, she turned within his embrace and presented her find to him.

It was extra large for her, a button down shirt coming to just above her knees with full length sleeves. "This might fit?" She was again conflicted between wanting him to cover his chest up and wanting to say screw it and let him romp around her house without a shirt. Both were equally as tempting on opposite ends of the same spectrum. Adira didn't know whether she wanted to be completely distracted or to cover it all up. Either way, the fact that he was hugging her without a shirt on was setting her on edge, blush apparent on her cheeks.

She blinked up at him for a few seconds before dropping off to the left. How was it that she was so unexperienced in flirting with people she actually liked, but when it came down to doing it for social or business reasons she was cool as a proverbial cucumber?

When Adira turned, shirtdress in hand, Bo grinned. "A fire sounds nice, in any way," he said with a smirk. He let both hands slide to her hips, and then lifted one free to hold the shirt. Length-wise, it would probably be a shirt on him, but width-wise, he was not convinced he would be able to button it up at all. Bo wasn't exactly rippling with muscle like Conan the Barbarian, but he had broad shoulders, the traces of abs, and built arms.

He took a step back from Adira and appraised the top. "Well, let's see," he said, quickly undoing the buttons. With a flourish, Bo tossed the shirt over one shoulder and then began to wriggle his arm into it. It got about half-way down and then just stopped. Full-length sleeves that fit Adira were not made for Bo. "Perhaps the other arm," he mused, switching hands. Again, the same problem.

Cocking on eyebrow, Bo draped the shirtdress over his shoulders and then tied the long sleeves around his neck. "It fits perfectly," he said, putting both hands on his hips like a superhero. The tall boy was not one to complain, but there was no way he would be fitting into that without ripping it to pieces.

Blue eyes strayed back to his pile of wet clothes. "We could throw my stuff in the dryer, maybe. And then I'll just air out my skin in the comfort of your fireplace-lit living room." He still had his jeans on, and the wet shoes that had given Adira such pause to begin with. Bo had no problem running around Adira's house in his boxers, but he was considerably more free-spirited than the dark-haired girl.

"Have I ever showed you my skill with making towel togas? I am very good at it. Lots of practice. I could wear a towel toga, but you would have to call me Dionysius, okay, those are the rules." This appeared to be some sort of middle ground. He could cover up in towels? So long as he could sense Adira's happiness, Bo had no problem pushing the boundaries of what was appropriate between them. This was uncharted territory, and Bo had his explorer hat on.

Adira feigned disappointment in the face that her largest shirt did not fit. It wasn't proper to have him be half naked alone with her in her flat, but hey- she'd made an effort. Thats what had really counted, right? But in reality, the view was nice; very nice.

"Dryer, yes." Good plan. Stepping away from him she scooped up the clothes on the floor and nodded for him to follow, but then stopped. "Any chance you could take off your shoes? Theres a mat by the door for them." The less footprints running through her house meant the less cleaning of them once he was gone.

The towel idea was a legit one. Adira padded down the stairs and looked back at him. "Towel toga should be alright. Though..." She smiled, "I refuse to call you Dionysus." The smile was followed by a look that clearly stated 'what are you gonna do about it'. She laid the clothing down on the tile in the kitchen before turning back to him. "Bathroom is the second door on the right. There are towels in there that you can use."

Adira turned and went back up the stairs, looking down at the top to make sure he was on his merry way before she changed herself. Etiquette training had made her a bit uptight in regards to physical intimacy. But then again, she'd never been in a situation like this before. She'd never dated someone solely because she was attracted to them and they were sweet; it had always been some case of social necessity. Maybe the rules were different? Adira didn't quite have an explorer hat yet, but she had an explorer badge and was working on it.

"Aye aye," Bo chirruped, immediately taking a knee to peel off his shoes and socks. He popped back up, dangling them from two bent fingers. When Adira refused to call him Dionysus, Bo mock-pouted, but it quickly dissolved into a grin. He had stained her carpet, her pillow, and her sheets. The least he could do was try to behave himself now.

At her dismissal, Bo navigated his way to the bathroom, balancing his wet shoes on the edge of the bathtub. He stripped down to his boxers. The jeans pulled and tugged at his skin, and he fell into the wall once or twice -- who knows what Adira thought he was up to in her absence. There were several towels, each one more plush than the other. Bo wrapped one around his waist, knotting it off and then rolling the waistline back under. That might have sufficed, but Bo did promise Adira a toga.

Taking another towel, Bo wrapped it over his torso like a sash, tucking it into one side of the other towel so that the majority of his chest was still exposed. He fidgeted with it here and there, tugging and adjusting. Just as he was about to leave the bathroom, the oversized boy spotted a bit of leafy garland circling a white pillar candle. Bo wiggled it free of the candle and used the decoration as a makeshift set of laurels for his hair.

He scooped up his shoes and pants and processed into the hallway dramatically... only to remember that Adira was not there. Bo crumpled for a moment and then burst into the next room -- equally as dramatic. Again, no Adira. Spotting his clothes on the kitchen tile, Bo tossed his pants with it and then dropped his shoes by the door. He crossed to the bottom of the stairs and braced his hands on either side of the frame.

"I am trying to impress you with my stellar entrance," he called up to her. "But you are nowhere to be found. Adiiiiiraaaaaa..."

In preparation for her arrival, Bo struck a pose (it looked sort of like he might be preparing to throw a shotput) and waited as patiently as he could for her to come appreciate it.

At the beckon, Adira moved to the stop of the stairs and stared down at the posing boy in her kitchen. "You look fantastic." The comment was filled with laughter as she said it. Towel toga he had promised and Bo had certainly delivered. The laurels glinting off the kitchen light caught her eye and she puzzled it before remembered the candles she'd had in the bathroom.

She had also changed out of her wet clothes, tank top, zip up and sweatpants replaced her equally as wet clothing. She was barefoot too, manicured toes padding down the carpeted stairs. She stopped a few steps up, looking at him critically. "Very acceptable, Bo-nysus." Adira found a middle ground between her refusal and his proposal...though she would only be saying it once.

"Fireplace first, or hot cocoa?" Seeing as the taller male had never been here before, she would probably have to do both actions herself. While Adira trusted Bo with her life...she wasn't quite she trusted him not to set her flat on fire somehow.

Yup, it was probably best she tended to both matters.

Judging by the emphatic bobbing of his head, Bo was pleased by Adira's middle ground title for him. He let himself bounce out of the pose, trailing his hand over the small of her back as she passed by him. God, she looked good in everything. Bo was pretty sure he could roll her around in mud, sticks, and leaves, and she would still possess an air of elegance. She came across as almost regal, and as a boy who had a thing for the regal-types, Bo felt himself slowly uncover another reason to like her even more.

He followed her movement with his eyes, memorizing every line of her. It was no secret that Bo was incredibly attracted to Adira, and he did less than nothing to hide it. Even when she asked him a question, Bo did not immediately take notice of the words. He was busy looking. Finally, he felt his eyes on her. "Oh?" he said suddenly, letting his brain catch up with his hearing. "I vote both at once. I can start the fire!" Bo started to move toward the fireplace, and it was almost as if Adira's entire apartment began to tremble at the thought of what horror he might do with that one small task.

Hoping to avoid a potential house fire (what a downer that would be), Adira looked around frantically for something to occupy the very tall and overeager boy in her kitchen. Scooping up their wet clothes, the girl darted around Bo and all but shoved them into his arms. "I think I can handle both of those...any chance you can throw these into the dryer?" After all, the sooner they were dry the sooner he could stop romping around her apartment in very risqué towels.

"Its just down the hall there and in a little room, third door on the right." She pointed it out to him before moving towards the fire place. The more space between the two the better, and she figured that getting between Bo and the potential disaster might be the best distraction.

She made rather short work of starting the fire. She normally kept a few logs and tinder prepped inside of the grate. Fairly soon, Adira had a little fire merrily eating away and she was busy digging in her cupboards, looking for hot cocoa mix. "How goes the dryer?" The question was fairly loud, called over her shoulder with barely a glance behind her.

Bo was highly used to taking orders from women. He had practically been raised by his grandmother (with his mother doing her fair part too), and his past-life (and now present) had been utterly dominated by the needs and desires of Princess Chronos. So when Adira ordered him to take clothes to the dryer, he grinned widely, gave her a mock salute, and then marched off to do as he was told.

When he returned to her living room, Adira was stoking the fire, the warm orange glow casting her in soft light. She stood and moved to the kitchen as he lingered out of sight in one entranceway. His smile softened into something more sentimental for a moment before he made his presence known with a casual clearing of throat. "The dryer is A-OK, but that is an excellent fire," he said. "I have to take you camping with me sometime. You could be in charge of the fires. I always forget to do them until it is already going dark..." It had gotten him into trouble a few times, certainly, but Bo was not the type to let that bother him.

Bo moved quickly to the kitchen and wrapped both arms around Adira from behind, kissing softly at her neck. He couldn't help it. She was very touchable. "Your place is really nice," he said, nuzzling lightly against her neck. "Have you considered a career in interior design? I will let you redo our living room. I'm sure Noel would prefer it." Bo and his roommate certainly differed on design taste, but it didn't stop him from making the offer to Adira. It was a Bo kind of thing to do.

"I've never been camping." Her families ideas of camping consisted of a 4-star hotel, but mostly because to her mother, that was 'roughing it'. She'd always enjoyed the idea of it, spending time out in nature overnight and living off of what you brought with you and all that. But something just never sat right with her idea of it and the lack of control she would have in participating. If too many things went wrong, she would probably go a little bit insane until she could get back to civilization and all its conveniences.

She shivered at the kiss to the neck, turning around in his embrace to place a soft kiss on the side of his cheek. "The idea is nice...but I don't know if I'd have time to design a whole new space when I don't even know your roommates tastes." The idea of a design project, plus her school work, family obligations, and patrolling responsibilities was enough to make her balk, even though it was generally something she enjoyed. Still tucked in Bo's lanky arms, Adira reached up and plucked the tin of hot cocoa mix from her cupboard.

After carefully extracting herself from his embrace (see: ducking down and under the trapping arms), she set out to make two cups of piping hot chocolate. "Do you go camping often Bo?"

For all the time that Bo and Adira had spent together, Bo felt like this night was even more special than all the special ones. Perhaps it was because there was little incident -- no youma, no fighting, no unpleasantness. He even let her duck out of his arms, issuing a false murmur of disappointment. He watched her work in the kitchen and imagined, for a brief second, a future of watching her in their home together.

The thought was so strange and so serious for him that Bo paused and dropped his gaze to the floor. It was just a moment, and then he returned to his normal self. "I am practically Bear Grylls. Or didn't you know that?"

Between cocoa and cuddling, Bo found himself lying in front of the fireplace, a romantic scene straight from a romance novel. But there was nothing scandalous to be had, just comfort -- a comfort that Bo could drown in, that he could live forever inside here with Adira.

And then he saw the Princess staring at him from deep inside his memories, and the room no longer felt so perfect anymore.
