Bell, too, ate. She really couldn't offer an answer about the phones. After all, they kinda did poof out of thin air. One thing was for sure though, they'd have to come up with some super awesome firewalls to keep the Negaverse from hacking the database. Although once you got into the world of technology, Bell was completely lost. She did good to navigate her e-mail.
Bell gave a light laugh. "Maybe the next poor unfortunate lieutenant I come across I'll tie up and we can ship them of to Tallulah for interrogation." Surely Bell was joking right? Even she wasn't sure. Tallulah would probably have too much fun trying to see what information she could wring from the poor soul.

"Oh god." Xavier's face was priceless. "I wouldn't want to be that dude." It was a fate worse than death.
Death. He was trying hard not to think about that. He wasn't sure... He really wasn't sure if he could do that. Youma were one thing... they were monsters. The only one he'd say that remotely looked human still clearly was not.
But the negaverse agent were... people. It was more disconcerting.

"No kidding," Bell giggled. In her entire year of being a senshi, Bell had never actually killed anything that wasn't a youma. She wasn't sure how she'd react if she did. She had the nightmares of course - defeating an agent only to watch as their Negaverse visage faded away to reveal their true identity. And it had always been someone she knew. Maybe she'd never spoken to them, but she'd at least seen them in passing. When the time came and she was faced with either kill or be killed though, would self preservation kick in? Would she be able to do it?
That was something they'd deal with some other time. Bell stood and got to cleaning up, which didn't consist of much, really. They hadn't even bothered with plates, so it was as simple as throwing a box away and wiping the crumbs from the table.

At least now Xavier was no longer basically moping all over her kitchen table, which was a relative improvement. Hopefully this would last a little more than a week. If circumpstances stopped kicking his a**.
That might be too much to ask. Sigh.
Bell was cleaning up before he had the time to get up and do it for himself, but he stood up anyway. "So, are are you gonna subject me to ?" He asked. He was at her mercy, after all. He was pretty determined about still bumming her spare bed.
Though, if she wanted to relocate him to plushie status...

"Well," Bell began, tossing the washcloth back over the sink faucet, and turning around to face Xavier, leaning back slightly on the counter, "That depends. How tired are you?"
Bell was blissfully unaware of how suggestive such words could be to a guy. It was comical in a way. She had...no real topic of conversation in mind(oddly enough the mind seems to run dry at the worst of times), she didn't feel like watching anything but she just wasn't quite ready to call it a night. She also, on the other hand, didn't want to keep him up if he was too tired.
Plushie status was still a possibility, however.

"Im not all that tired yet." He admitted, pondering out loud. Again, he slept a whole ******** lot lately, though he was also starting to become slightly more active on the senshi front as well. "Though... oh, maybe we can bake something ? You could teach me !"
He put on his best innocent face. "I promise not to blow your oven up." Oh, it was possible.

"What would you like to bake?" That was certainly an idea. And she still had plenty of ingredients. Not to mention an entire pantry of cake, muffin, and brownie mixes. It was as good as the baking isle of Walmart, anyway.
"It isn't that hard to bake when your baking from a box," she laughed lightly. Why make things harder than they needed to be, after all?

"Hrmmm..." He leaned against the table in thought. "A cake, maybe ?" Cakes are always delicious, boxed mix or not !
And beside, in a way he didn't care what they would be baking, as long as he got to spend time with Bell. And try to think about normal things. He'd done his share of senshi-thinking for the night, thanks.

Bell walked over to the cabinets of mixes and opened the door, "Pick your poison, my dear. There is also icing, various flavors, etcetera~" Well, he could see for himself. Bell was more prone not to use icing, but she kept it in stock anyway.
Indeed, this was a nice, normal activity. Bell debated turning on the stereo in the living room - the sound would carry. Her music collection, aside from the Broadway stuff, was primarily 80's and early 90's. She was none too ashamed of her complete 'Best of the 80's' collection, or the empty Savage Garden case that lay on top of the stereo, foretelling of it's recent use.

He wandered to the cabinet to browse the selection, so to speak - and well, as if Xavier would ever say no to music. He might deny liking things like Savage Garden to the masses, but truth was that he had the whole damn discography on his computer.
Aheheh.
He finally fished out a box of devils food and cream cheese icing. Best combo eeeeever.

Bell was already bouncing towards the doorway to go turn on the stereo when he made his decision, so over her shoulder she called, "Get the ingredients on the back of the box out and I'll be back in a sec. I'm gonna get some music going." And a second later she was in the living room. She half debated changing the CD, but hell, she'd listened to it a hundred times already, what was another?
As it began, she also returned.

Well, he could do that much. He wasn't that clueless, after all. Eggs were easily find, as did the oil. It probably helped that Bell had been baking up a storm so they were all nice and easy to find. By the time she returned and the music started, it was all on the table.
"Im not too sure where the mixing bowls and the pans are." He admitted.

Without so much as a word Bell was climbing the counter - the woes of being short - and reaching up in the high cabinets for the mixing bowls. She didn't keep them on the lower cabinets due to...well, she didn't keep much in the lower cabinets. That is where the cleaning stuff, and insect killers were. That and pans don't mix.
I twas a sight though. Bell didn't lend a second thought to climbing up on the counter whilst in the skirt she was wearing, and then hopping down. Of course, she hadn't thought to direct him to the upper shelves either. "Here you go! And the mixer would be~" She hadn't put it away from last time Just the little mixing tongs. So she grabbed the mixer from the counter, and proceeded to rifle through the silverware drawer for the mixing tongs.
"Pretty much all you have to do is follow the instructions. I'll set the stove to pre-heat." that was the interesting thing. It had taken Bell forever to figure out how this stove worked. It wasn't like the ones in the home-ec room.

Oh hellloooo there Bell's splendid behind. Nice to see you here tonight !
Good thing he hadn't offered to go for the cupboard...
He was almost given away by the fact he was a little slow on the uptake when she actually talked to him. "Oh, yeah, I can do that." Sounded stupid-proof enough, and so he dumped it all in and started to mix.

There was something to be said for blissful naivete mixed with automatic independent actions.. Perhaps had Bell been consciously thinking of what she did, she'd have spared a blush. But as of right now, the oven was preheating, and the cake was being mixed. She set to prepping the cake pan so the cake wouldn't stick.
"The pan is ready when you're done there," she said brightly.
All the while the music played though the house.
