Kira snuck in the door, fortunate to find the yellow table at the very back of the class. She knew Adrian would get on to her later about being late to class, but she didn't really care. She'd already learned the basics of magitechnology from him anyway, he just wasn't aware of it yet. She did, however, manage to catch part of the opening lecture, and pulled a small device from her pocket. It looked to be nothing but a paper fan at first glance, but she unfolded it to a 90-degree angle, and set it down on the desk. Pushing a small, innocuous button on the side cause it to light up, and a small light pulsed out, stretching about 15 inches across, the bottom surface resolving into a standard QWERTY keyboard, the upper surface becoming a holographic monitor, similar to the one on the teacher's podium. With this, she began to take notes, keeping track of the most important aspects of the lecture.
