Someone was trailing after her.
Katherine did not like it when people followed her.
Therefore, she'd tell this boy never to do so again.
First, though, she'd listen to Akina's introduction. Apparently, their gates would obviously clash, though she hoped the same wouldn't go for their personalities. As much as she wasn't in an overly social mood right now, she didn't exactly feel like buddying up with the first person she saw. Unfortunately, while it was nice to know the rest of the A.E.G.I.S. in Japan spook English, she extremely doubted her peers at school would.
For one thing, Kate's luck had never been that good.
For example, this other girl seemed to be a bit too perky for her liking. It was fairly easy for Kate to see through her calm facade, though she couldn't quite blame her for being so excited about this. Most people would, of course, by ecstatic about being in Japan to help fight alien Invaders while endagering their lives at the same time.
How 'bout not.
"My accent isn't that heavy," Kate replied back, her voice verging on irritation as she glanced at the Fossil watch adorning her wrist. "And call me Kate, not Katherine."
Maybe she should've taken the chance to sleep on the plane, now that she thought about it.
'Cause she certainly wasn't awake and chipper right now. At the moment, all Katherine wanted to do was get into her new bed, cuddle up, and sleep until noon the next day. She'd always had a deep hatred for flying, as she got jetlag like fire got air. Needless to say, if she didn't have somewhere to sleep in the next hour or so, she'd be passing out where she was standing.
Before she got around to sleeping though, she might actually want to find out where she'd be staying.
"Are we going to be staying in someone's house as exchange students?" Kate questioned, hugging her arms close to her body. "Or will we be staying at Headquarters?"
Like I said. The less words said, the better.
Especially at g-d knows what hour in the middle of the night.
