I think the problem you have is religion. You, my dear Enigma, are bounded by the constraints of religion. The horrid religion of Christianity in the modern world.
What you need is a relationship. A relationship with God. Pray more often. Pour your heart out to Him. Tell Him how you feel, how you feel restrained. Tell Him that you don't want to dedicate your whole life to Him. Talk to Him about these problems, instead of us; though He can and will speak through us, I doubt that you'll actually listen to our counsel as much as you will His. Ask Him to show you the truth, for the truth will set you free.
Run away from religion and toward the arms of the Father.

Just focus on your relationship with God because God will always love you and be there for you. Your duties as a Christian are to love and forgive.
Christians that push the teachings revolving around sinful acts aren't helping to spread the love of God.
Honestly everyone sins, your family, your friends, the people that sit next to you at church, the people that take up the offering, the people that serve you communion, even your pastor or priest is a sinner.
