Himeko nodded at that, growing quiet. She and Hollow had the exact same build as kits. Now, Hollow was built better for fighting and Himeko was suited for dodging. It was obvious who had what role between the sisters. "She had to carry me around as a tiny kit, but it had to be hard for her. I was a BCR, she was barely bigger than a BCR, yet she watched over me until I hatched and even after. She never complained." Her sister never said anything about wanting her parents, she never complained about the life given to them, she just accepted it.
She smiled, head tilting upwards slightly as she felt the wind hit her. "It must be strange that my elder is younger than you."

Kaname thought about this for a while. “Yes I suppose it must have been extremely hard” he agreed wondering what he could say on the matter. He decided at the current moment it would probably be best to leave it as it was. “ah yes it’s a bit weird to have Horus be insibya and be younger than me but its not like its that much of a difference. He was always raised like he should be in some place of importance.” Kaname tried to explain.

Himeko nodded at this, tail flicking as the wind swept through her hair. She glanced upwards at Kaname, smirking softly. "You may not be insibya, but you're of great importance to me." She said softly, blushing lightly. She hadn't even cuddled with him yet! Or kissed him... oh! Her cheeks flushed darker at that thought, nervously wringing her paws together.
"I-I mean...That...uhm...I...." She stammered, failing completely as she realized her statement might have been a tad weird. The flustered female let out a squeak, shaking her head.
"S-So... are you going to... join Kemet?" She whispered softly, ears pricking up as she waited for the answer.

Kaname smiled not that she could really see it and crushed the urge to show his happiness in his flying. Himeko might like flying with him but probably not so much if he did an aerial trick. "thank you. you dont need to try and correct your statement. you mean a lot to me as well" he pointed out. "well that was the plan. The tribe really needs a priest... shaman. Horus has a lot of carers which is good when the tribe has its first kits but also there needs to be someone other than the elder that can heal and take care of the gods. " he pointed out. "so since I already have most of the training. I figure I can handle the job at least until Horus gets more" Kaname told her.

Himeko wagged her tail, nodding. However she caught the 'at least for now' part and her ears lowered. Would Kaname go back if they had more Shaman's? Secretly, she hoped that they wouldn't find to many more so he would stay with them. If he stayed she'd be able to see him every day, be able to spend time with him. Then Hollow couldn't object if he was in the same tribe, she didn't have a right to!
Himeko glanced down below, watching the ground under her. She wondered if Hollow had ever flown before. Probably not, she had Katssssuuuu~ He couldn't fly, and she doubted Hollow would enjoy the feeling of all four feet off the ground.

Suddenly a rather strong wind hit them and Kaname accidentally let go of Himeko in his attempt to re get control as it sent him spinning. He inwardly hissed a couple of not nice words before diving down to get her. She had only fallen about ten feet before he caught her again but it must have been rather frightening. “Sorry… I should have kept better grip.” He apologized wincing. this would really keep her liking flying. Ugh he hadnt dropped any one since he had first learned to fly and he had dropped Horus, of course to his credit he also had carried anyone flying this long for a while

Himeko felt the wind rush past her as she was dropped, eyes going wide as she felt herself plummet. She let out a frightened cry, flailing wildly until she felt arms grab her. The female shuddered, shaking as she stared at the ground below her, eyes wide and heart pounding. She didn't say anything, merely shaking as she thought of how close death had been. She couldn't speak, way to scared to open her mouth.

Kaname winced as he noticed the stiffness in carrying her. Luckily the two where pretty close now as they passed over the lake. Large kemet statues stood up as if granting them entrance from the water. Most of the statues body was submerged in water and was still mostly submerged on the driest of the year. He passed over the water and landed smoothly on top of the temple. “we’re here” Kaname told her smiling as the sun had finally arisen to hit the four great statues of the human insibya on the mountain.

Himeko let out a low sigh as she was set down, moving away and curling into a tiny ball, ears pressed back against her head as she looked like a bewildered cat. It didn't help that she had cat eyes. The vixen eyed Kaname, shivering slightly. "I-I think I'd like to stick on the ground for a little bit." She mewled before glancing around her, taking in the sight.

Kaname took a deep sigh and nodded walking a little bit away before looking up at the scenery. “I understand…” he nodded inwardly kicking himself. He should have kept a better grip on her. Ugh he hadn’t made such a huge fumble since… well forever. He laid down folding his wings on his side and placing his head on his hands going over the scene. He would find out why he let go and fix it so that he never dropped any one again. What would he have done if he hadn’t been able to catch her again. Shaking his head he cleared the negative thoughts in his head he stared up at the four statues.

Himeko glanced about, raising her ears as she blinked. It was beautiful up here, she liked heights, though right now she was a little freaked out. The female stood up, moving towards the edge of the area and wagging her tail. "This is so cool." She whispered, tail wagging once more, turning to smile at Kaname. "How'd you find this place?" She hadn't heard Horus mention it before, then again maybe he didn't know about it?

“As you know every elder of a tribe starts out mostly as a normal fox and if the modeities deem you worthy then the said elder evolves into the normal appearance one tends to associate with elders.” Kaname explained. “This is the temple where the modeity chooses the next insibya. Of course by the time of Horus’s parents became insibya the temple had been moved to another location by the humans living in kemet. So me and Horus often came here to play.” Kaname explained. “It’s a special place and I thought I would show you”

Himeko smiled, looking at the ground and nodding. "I worry about Horus sometimes." She said quietly, looking around. "He has us, he has his mate, and... he seems happy. But... He has to protect us. It's his choices, his words and actions that keep us alive. Only him. He holds the responsibility, but there's no one to share it with. He's alone in this. He has us, but would we truly understand the burden on his shoulders? Could we truly know what its like?"
She lowered her gaze, smiling softly. "In the end, it must be very frightening at times."

“Yes I am sure that it is a bit frightening at times for him, but Horus just takes that and excels. He’s always grown up knowing that some day Kemet was his and even though it seems a little bit tough knowing that all those people are looking for you to keep things together and protect them but he enjoys helping people and making sure they are happy. He’s the type that just naturally likes leading people probably because that’s just the way he is. However at times he tends to over do it so as long as his friends can tell him when he’s done enough and not let himself over due it he should be fine” Kaname pointed out.

Himeko nodded, suddenly perking up and giving Kaname a determined look. "I will always be there for Horus! He gave us a home, even if Hollow rather be somewhere else. He accepted us even when he knew nothing about us! To that I am entirely grateful and want to work my hardest for him. I'll work as hard as I can to help him have less burden in his life." She suddenly blushed at her outburst, pawing at the ground.
"Besides... he let you join...too." She mumbled softly, looking away. Horus had let Kaname join, and that also made her happy... Even if she was shy and didn't want to admit that Kaname being here made her the happiest she had ever been.
