People filed in, taking their seats, whispering about Tori while she filled out the brackets. The eop one was just out of reach, so she used a Kido she designed and suspended herself in air. Five seconds later, she fell to the ground, landing on her feet before going to sit down.

"Alright, Students. Today is the Combat Competition, so everyone needs to pay attention," The teacher took the book out of Soren's hand and put it on the desk, "And find their Sparring partners. The board has everything filled out, so get going!"

Soren was about to complain about the teacher takeing his book but decided not to cause trouble. He looked up at the bord wondering who his partner was.

(just curious, where'd you get the name Soren?)
Tori sighed and stood up again, grabbing her weapon of choice; a simple wooden staff. She then went to the Mat she was assigned to with her partner.

(Fire emblem not gardains of ga'hool. And i just rembered that there was someone named soren in the ga'hool seres XD )
Soren walked over to his partner " Hey tom." he said and waved.
(Lol tom and mat... the name of my cousins XD)

(oh.... darn. I have a cousin whos name is Soren)
When the teacher blew his whistle, Tori jabbed the end of her staff into the boy's side and swept his feet out from under him, pressing the end against his throat with a cold expression. He swallowed, then muttered "I give." She removed the staff, extending a hand to help him back to his feet.

Soren smiled " Ladys first." he said and tom tryed to punch him. Soren easily dodged and punched tom in the stumach then smacked him in the head. Tom got angry and kicked Soren who grabed his leg and fliped tom on to the ground. Tom and soren fought for a while befor tom gave up.

The teacher went through and added the winners names to the next brackets, then set them on eachother again. Tori went defensive first this time, dodging and countering untill her opponant gave up again.

Soren sighed and took his time fighting his next opponant. He finshed the match then looked at the teachers desk wonderng if there was time to read his book.

Five matches later, Tori was ready to face the last opponent. She bowed her head a bit, then got ready to fight.

Soren sighed and his next opponat laughed " If you lose you know you have the rest of the class to read?" Soren luahged then quickly knocked the other person out and grabed his book " Yeah but knocking you out is more fun."

She ducked the boys punch he'd aimed for her jaw, launching herself at himwith her staff, kicking him in the face, knocking him unconcious.
"Alright, tommorrow, it's Soren against Tori." The bell rang dismissing them, and Tori put the staff back and left, having not brought anything with.

Soren zoned out and only heard the bell. He grabed his books and headed to his next class. " Wonder who im fighting tomarrow."

She glanced over her shoulder at the boy, 'Soren,' wondering if he'd acctually be worth the fight, then shrugged and wwalked to class.
