Zac was grumbling, but Demy was laughing. Cmon, what wasn't to love about this game? Brightly colored hippos gobbling up everything in sight? It was hilarious!

.... So at the end, The one they THOUGHT would win apparently saw something shiny around the house, and was distracted.
So... Zac and herself tied with 10 balls each. After wondering HOW to solve this...they decided that another round to decide the winner was a yes. "Your going down Zac!" She said as she dropped the little balls into the game.

"Hmph!" was his short reply as he tried his best to apply strategy to ball gobbling. It was with varying degrees of success sad to say.
Ultimatly... it was a better strategy just to snap at the balls as it turned out, at least this time.
Beth was the current hippo Champion.
"Very well...to the victor goes the crown...Dem hand me one of those glow necklaces would you?"

Damn his short attention span! Some shiny thing or something or other had caught his attention and it cost him the game. Oh well...he'd just beg someone to play him again later.
"Sure thing Zee!"
He nabbed up a pink glowstick (pink for pink hippo, yeah?) and quickly handed it over to the other boy.
"Grats Beth, I dunno what we would have done if -Zee- won..."

She won? She just... stared blankly. "I never win!" She said blankly, looking a bit sheepish that she DID win. Should she gloat? Stay quiet? She WAS happy but... chose to stay silent and pink tinged on the face.
"... If zac won i doubt he would wear the glowstick." Beth smiled.
"...Whats the next game?"

"Well...if you want to concede the crown or earn another tier for it we could play hippos again, though we also have Mousetrap, shoots and ladders, Candy-land..." He rattled off the list of old games including operation which he'd insisted on. Though he did shoot Dem a look at the comment about HIM winning, what was wrong with him winning anyhow? HMPH!

It wasn't that Zee wasn't allowed to win! He just wasn't allowed to win Hungy Hungry Hippos. He could win....Monopoly or Clue or some game that required a lot of thinking. But not this. No. Just no.
"Please nothing hard...yet. I don't have the attention span for it this early in the evening."
Or...ever. But he wasn't going to say that.

".... Mouse trap?" She grinned as the idea, building a trap to catch the others in... fufufu sounds fun! Then again she sometimes had issues remembering which part was next so... theyd get to pay attention to that.
Almost as if it was destined.... her door buzzer rang. "I think the foods heeeere." She said nabbing the wad of cash from Zac and darting towards the front door.
...
Some moments later... she was barely visible behind a large pizza, a bag of tacos, and some soda bottles.

Zac laughed sharply at the appearance of the pizza. "Well look at that." He said and fished out the box for 'Mousetrap' as he spoke. "Bait!"
He chuckled and opened the box so they could set up and let the others have first 'dibs' on the food.
"I was supposed to get that." He chided though and finally moved to help her with the boxes, he got them onto the counters and then stuffed the bills she'd handed him back at her.
"Here... where do you keep the glasses."

Nope, he still wasn't sick of them. He likely never would be.
"I'll get the plates and napkins!"
He was already up on his feet and digging around in cabinets as he said that. It was the best way to help! Besides, the sooner he could find some plates, the sooner he'd get some tacos. Mmmm.
"Mousetrap will be fun! I bet even Zac likes that one, with the whole trapping part of it and stuff. Right Zac? Dontcha?"
It was likely he'd be -very sad- if Zac didn't like this game. He didn't seem too fond of the hippos, which was terrible but forgivable if he liked Mousetrap.
