False Self yelped as the crazed Krokotas' teeth dug into his haunch, tumbling to the ground from the force of the blow. Lucky for him, the two females prevented any further attacks with their bravery, and even the Chief stepped in to protect him from further assault.
He cursed under his breath, chastising himself for a moment of complete and utter idiocy. Turning his back on a Krokotas who smelled of death and wanted to eat him? Had he completely lost it? He cowered behind Mikhail, mentally berating himself for being so stupid, so weak.
When the dark female joined the circle of Krokotas, False Self picked himself up. This total stranger was willing to barge in and do something when it would have been far easier to steer clear of such an obviously dangerous situation; he could not let himself appear so pathetic as to be saved by three girls.
He stepped out from behind the Chief, taking a defensive stance next to (but still a little behind) him, his head lowered and fangs bared at his attacker. "False Self, my lord," he said quietly. "Forgive my show of weakness and momentary lapse in judgment; I assure you it was but a single mistake, and not a common occurrence."

 A low growl escaped the insane creature as his attack was stopped. Though he was quite satisfied with the damage he had done before he was torn away by the female's tackle. Licking his muzzle of the others blood there was a light purred of delight, but his attention was no longer upon the male but upon the females which had stopped him. Being bitten by another was unacceptable in his mind so he lashed out at Amber, snapping himself around attempting to get her neck between his jaws.

Amber backed up just enough to escape the crunch, she was terrified, but she was also very fast.
Star watched as this strange guy attack Amber, this time she wasn't going to let it go by just pushing him away. She growled loudly, attacking him from the side,m she wasn't sure if she'd get him, but she as sure as hell was going to teach him a damn lesson for attacking her family.
Amber watched in terror at star made her attack, what she wanted was for star to get away, amber knew she could be replaced easily, but Star couldn't, why would she do this? Why did she have to be so brave???

Mouthless Bounty's eyes sprung awake. His worried pupils shot around, searching for the reason he was now the ground with headache. Or maybe he was searching for a reason to get up. Either way, the orange beast arched his neck and slowly stood. He kept his head low to the ground, eyes wide and looking straight ahead. Mouthless Bounty then took his first step towards the clearing where Oogie Boogie, Star, and Amber were getting down.
He took one more step, then another, then erupted into a powerful sprint. Mouthless Bounty roared and leapt over the thin brush that had been separating him and the violence. His eyes sent a ferocious message, but after he crash landed into Star, that heroic look quickly melted into a look of disappointment. Mouthless Bounty had flown through the air, seemingly with no idea where he was going to land. He accidentally tackled Star into the dirt before she could land an attack on Oogie Boogie, "Ouuhhwohh", he whined. "I'm s-sorry!"
Civil made an "oh-you-idiot" face at Mouthless Bounty then snapped at Oogie Boogie. "Ease up on the fury!" She barked. "You are clearly out numbered. Perhaps it is time to strike a compromise." She turned to Mikhail, too intimidated to make eye contact, she just spoke bluntly. "You are clearly a great leader..." Civil bowed to Mikhail... "to have already recruited such loyal followers. And you..." Civil leered at Oogie Boogie... "are clearly a brave Krokotas. A man of action. I think we all have something to gain from each other..."
Civil glanced at all the Krokotas in the area, then returned her head to a low, submissive state.

Star flopped backwards. "GET OFF OF ME!!" She wasn't angry, she was afraid that the insane krok to attack Amber.
Amber watched as Star was trying to get up, shocked, was he trying to attack Star?

 Mikhail nodded in acknowledgment of his new follower's name, though he never took his eyes off the wild Krokotas before them. "False Self. Fear not, for you have learned your lesson from your mistake, and now you must take steps to rectify it."
The wild one seemed to have redirected his rage towards the females now, which made him less of a concern for the chief, though future recruiting possibilities seemed to be reducing if this sort of activity were to continue. Not the most productive pursuit.
And yet, his ears perked at the female's speech, and not just because she flattered him so. Not that it wasn't both well-deserved and appreciated. She showed wisdom, calm in the face of chaos, and yet, humble submission. A good combination of qualities and one that caught the Chief's attention quite effectively. She would also make a good recruit with some convincing...
"Of course, my dear," he nodded towards the dark female with polite agreement, though with which portion of her speech, it was hard to say. He turned his attentions towards the others, his voice carrying with a note of authority that hers did not. "She is quite correct, of course. There is no need to waste energy fighting amongst ourselves. Not when that energy may be directed towards other, more productive means. Afterall, there are 'true enemies' about, not just strangers. Think of the power we would have in working together, rather than alone. Imagine how much stronger we could all be." There was an odd glint in his eye, something both wild yet contained, determined and inspiring. There was little Mabuz could add to his lord's great speech, even if he felt he held the position to do so. Speaking was his lord's forte, as well as many other things. Mabuz would better assist him for the moment by remaining alert to any sudden changes in the situation, ready to react to any sign of danger towards his lord or his new packmate brother.

His attention snapped towards the gray female and he gave her a snarl. Why did there have to be so many stupid females interrupting his hunt. "Death is the only thing I gain from everything I do," He growled back at them, adding a small giggle to top off his sentence. "Death is all I live for, If I can't kill then I rather die myself."

Star watched the crazy krok, making sure he wasn't going to be attacking anyone, he seemed to be chatting, good.
Amber watched all of this, realizing she had been acting like a coward, she shook her head, starting too growl, she may not be as tough as Star, but she was tough enough.
