Nyx sighed when there was a sudden outburst of squeaking and chirping from the little clam, though she found herself a bit relieved at the sudden distraction it gave her, and hopefully calm her nerves even if it was only for a short period of time.
Nyx turned her attention to the little clam and nuzzled it lightly cooing, "shh..shh... it's alright little one...everything is alright..." Though deep down she wasn't exactly certain if that was true, so much was left unsaid and yet was she supposed to just blurt out, *.....*

Samael got up and scooted closer to them both and also tried his best to sooth the pup in the clam, and figured with both of them providing head to the clam would help it calm down and be quiet. Which it did, eventually and Samael laid his head down and closed his eyes, slowly dozing off.

Nyx sighed in relief when the little pup finally calmed down again, resting her own head on her paws not all too far from Samael.
She closed her eyes and before long found herself drifting into a place where sleep would over take, and conscious thought no longer had a ruling, and with that she whispered, "love you Sammy..." before sleep fully took over.

Samael was too far into sleep or he would have heard it and be very surprised. But instead he slept on, the coldness of the ouside snow not creeping into the warmth of the den.
