Yamoto sighed as he looked up at the sky. "I'll say this, a rebellion causes total chaos in a society. It may be justified in some eye and in others it may not be, but know this. Order is a good thing, and to have order there must be power, and to goes against that power is to go against order itself which in the minds of most is evil. To maintain order and a peaceful state one must follow the ways of the majority, so if the majority gives you an order to quell a rebellion by force you do it."

The captain was trying to divert the conversation from being solely on this topic. In truth Yamoto was just another solider who had been trained to follow orders, and he had a slight problem trying to argue this fact, because it usually brought up things the captain would rather keep to himself."

"Well it is rather difficult for me to explain, but I give it a shot." Yamoto spent a moment or two thinking about what he was going to say. "While most people think the zanpakuto is the shinigami's greatest assest, I think it is reiatsu. Reiatsu has the ability to change the environment around us the a great degree. It is reiatsu manipulation that is the main component of kido, because a incantation would be nothing if you didn't have reiatsu to back it up. Now I can't exactly explain why this work, but if remember correctly the origin of our kido actually does come from demon magic. Of course it is rather rare to find a true demon now a days so I guess all the secrets on how spells work will remain secrets."

"Well then I guess there's only one thing for me to do... I have to go and hunt myself up a demon." He threw his head back and laughed. "Now if only I could find some way into hell to do that." Plucking a leaf from a near by bush he started to rub it against his teeth. "Sorry, I'm just a bit paranoid about my oral hygiene." It was an old trick he had learned from his uncle who had spent some time in South America before Lerato's parents had died. 'Reiatsu manipulation...' "So if the main component of kido is reiatsu manipulation, then you could theoretically release it from any point on the body if you had enough control over it, couldn't you?" He pondered out loud, tossing the used leaf to the side. "You know what would be cool? A technique that combined shunpo and kido the way shunko combines hakudo and kido. Just imagine it; every where you shunpo you'd leave a either a string of bakudo or an explosive hado just waiting to be triggered."

Pulling out a small box from his pocket he pulled out a thin cigarette look-a-like with a thick green stripe around the filter. "You'd think something meant to break a smoking habit would be less addictive itself." He commented before placing the smoke behind his ear, the scent of mint filling the area immediately around them. "So here I am asking you all sorts of questions... have you ever wanted to ask your pupils any or are you content with being the stoic trainer who never asks any questions?" He chuckled, looking over at the man.

[This is the third time I've tried to post this so sorry if it seems summarized. It was a lot better the first time. I've gotten permission from Fefnir to train in kido up to 70 if that's alright with you.]

(yeah that fine.)

"There are certain kido that can be cast from different parts of the body other than your hands, but its defense bakudo techniques only. Also combining Shunpo and Kido can be done, but not to the detail you described. If someone were skilled enough in both shunpo and kido they could make it look like they were firing different kido from multiple direction. What you are describing is close to my zanpakuto abilities which is one of the main reason I am captain of the kido corp division." Yamoto paused as Lerato addressed the fact that Yamoto had not really asked any question about his student. "Well normally I prefer not to ask to many question as I have found the curious you are, the more it tend to bit you in the a** later, but I do have one question. You seemed rather fixed on becoming a kido master like myself yet you are in a squad whos captain thinks that kido are for people who do not know how to fight properly. Why is that?"

"Hmm... well that's a shame, now isn't it? Do me a favor? Remind me never to piss you off." He joked looking at the man's blade before giving a theatrical shiver. 'Yeah... bite you in the a** and take a chunk out.' How many times had his curiosity gotten him in trouble. "You don't know how right you are, Sir." Lerato's answer seemed distant, eyes staring off into some obscure scene that hid itself behind the reality of the trees, brush, ferns and water around them. Snapping back to reality he smirked, "Actually, when I joined the first division, Captain Yukimaru was heading the squad. When she left, Fefnir took over and I just stayed. I don't regret it though." 'No... that doesn't answer it at all...' he thought biting his tongue. "Captain Shiboo, you've had differing views from some of your students right? I guess it's the same thing as Captain Fefnir and myself. I'm sure he thinks that the best way to fight is with the skill of a blade, just as you find kido the most civilized. I don't believe either of those. I'm a man who believes that fighting is fighting, be it kido or zanjutsu."

'Great, now I'm confusing myself.' "I just want knowledge Captain. I want to know why kido works and why we use it. I want to know the mechanics of shunpo and what part of our soul a zanpukato draws its strength from and where a hollow’s heart goes." His laughter mimicked that of a mad man. "I admire Fefnir for the same reason I admire you and all the other captains. You understand. What ever it is you wonder about, you will do what ever it takes to understand them. Yes, I want to be a kido master. But I also want to understand swordplay as much as he does. He's my Captain, Sir, and whether he thinks kido is worth the effort or not, I'll remain loyal to him." That was it. "Without Fefnir, I wouldn't be who I am now." He smiled, throwing out his arms. 'Damn that was a hard question to answer...'

[holy god that probably seems jumbled up. Tell me if you don't get it and I'll edit lol.]
