Personality: Taiko is stern and no-nonsense, generally somewhat proper and entirely disciplined -- or so he would like you to think. Despite his upstanding demeanor, he does tend to have more eccentric moments of playfulness that accumulates into galloping in a wild manner. An unbridled run is one of his greatest joys and certainly a guilty pleasure, the beat of his hooves on a harder surface as loud and powerful as the drums he plays. Naturally, he tends to keep this to himself, showing only his severe side in the company of others.
Likes: Music, tradition, elegant and beautiful things, thunderstorms (his inspiration for new pieces), tea.
Dislikes: Soft land that can't stand his weight/speed, closed spaces, uncouth or undistinguished individuals.

FAMILY
Scent Puff: The mother of Taiko's children. Their dalliance was random, but he thinks well of the beautiful mare.
Zen: Full of zest, but always with purpose, Taiko is proud, if not perplexed by his out-going and well meaning son.
Jasmine Tea: Ah, his Empress, his little girl! To say he spoils her is a horrid understatement. He is infinitely bursting with pride of what his daughter has accomplished.
Judo: The rambunctious one, but he supposed someone had to follow in his hoof-steps! Not that he'd tell anyone that...
Ikebana: Taiko had been very worried about his quiet, withdrawn son, but it was for naught; the golden child blossomed into his purpose, and he could not be more proud of the capable and talented stallion.
