He said and made his own jump, he angled and used a small ricochet off the near by building to make his own drop less steep, though it cost him a smudge of brick dust against his coat before he landed, his preferred 3 point landing before standing and dusting himself off.
"Happy?" He asked her in a tone that left unspoken 'you cannon you' before he shifted to a warm black jacket over his favorite t-shirt and jeans. It was getting a little cold for them as the knee was thread bare though.

Offering a small golf like clap at his jump she shrugged before she spoke, "Fair enough, I could use it to my advantage, but in the case of a fire escape the way to gain the upper hand would be to assault whoever is trapped in it, in such a case I never want to be in one to prevent that."
Turning away from him she started to walk as the image of Hel shredded away in a cloud of ash leaving a simple girl wearing jeans and a slightly over sized hoodie (probably stolen from Rho)
"Very much so, now c'mon I was thinking we could get some stir fry at one of those little all you can eat places."

"You are ridiculously closed minded about attack situations, you should prepare for the worst... " he scolded with a scowl, and made a note to work with his own team on similar situations. There had to be an abandoned building with a similar set up.
Actually he thought too that it might be quite advantageous to Wolfram to lure someone into that kinda of situation as well, limit them the same way he was limited in his depth perception.
He made a face at the idea of stir fry but didn't argue the point. He didn't -loathe- it he just never fancied it.

"Well up until now the only thing I ever had to attack was foolish people to fuel our need for starseeds. I should be fine if anyone did try though, I'm not stupid and Nea gave me a few pointers herself before Rho took me in." She paused for a moment tilting her head at his face. "Stir fry not for you? So what would you like then? If I'm treating you out I should at least make sure you like it."

"I've yet to run into one I found terribly good." He admitted. "But it's your money... So long as it's not liver ...or taco's which I've grown a bit weary of, you may decide." He said with a small shrug.

"I frequently eat with the Gentleman who may or may not end up being your future keeper." He said with a curt nod. "Captain...Keeper..." He shrugged
"At any rate he's ENORMOUSLY fond of tacos and I'm getting a bit tired of mexican...or taco-bagles, or... well you rather I think get the idea."
He paused a heartbeat and looked rather unnerved at the name of the buffet.
"Certainly sounds like an interesting restaurant you've elected to go for..."

"This would be the Mr. Scheelite you mentioned earlier? Taco fan hm? Well I now know what to treat him to when we meet to start things off on the right foot, but no fast food ones, I hate fast food..." Turning again she let out a laugh, "Oh come on, it's not bad I promise. You fill up your bowl with what ever you want in the stir fry. After that you take it to this round grill in the middle of the restaurant where the chefs cook it up right in front of you and everyone else. Not to mention it's only a few blocks."

"Oh please, like the food they serve at Hillworth is better then a buffet. You really should be a bit more open minded." Rolling her eyes she did just as he asked and continued to lead. Strolling down the streets of Destiny city hands stuffed in her pockets letting a silence fall over them for the time being.
Once they arrived she gestured to Zink and herself, "Two please." Once at the table she pulled out the money for two meals, all they could eat. "So, the big question on everyones mind tonight, when did you get that new promotion?"

"Exactly when I deserved it, and when the queen had time and energy to spare...not a moment before or after." He said with a cheshire smirk.
"And I wouldn't underestimate my profound dislike of stir-fry. Hillworth isn't nearly as bad as people say, it's simply an... acquired taste." He said with a thoughtful look, if somewhat pensive. Though stir-fry was still head and shoulders better than most of the disasters cooked up by Beth...

"Right time, right place, and a stroke of luck that the Queen felt like it. Lovely system, but I guess she is a bit busy to be personally visiting each of us when we reach that point in our lives." When the drinks arrived Lorelei reached to hers raising it to Zac, "To the new captain either way. May he lead well."
Taking a sip she shrugged, "Hillworth never seemed appealing in anyway to me, but I guess for some its that or nothing at all." Slipping out of her seat she started towards the buffet waving for Zac to follow after her. Going from booth to booth, meats, seafood. vegetables, sauce. Once she was pleased with her bowl she waited for Zac to join her by the grill. "Besides, I'm treating, free meals are always the best."
