Well, actually, the title of the game is "Soul Calibur".
Yes, I know that is not how it is spelled correctly in English, but grab the box and look; that's how it's spelled. -nerd powers activate!-

Aside from Mortal Kombat, I play Super Smash Bros. and the DragonballZ budukai series. Never really liked soul calibur or Tekken.

My favorite fighting game would probably be Soul Calibur III. It is not the best I have played, but it has the best character creation system I have seen in the genre except perhaps Mortal Kombat: Armageddon. Problem there is that MK:A's gameplay was not anywhere near as good as SC3's, while SC3's custom creation is -nearly- as good as MK:A's.
But, even a mediocre game will entertain me infinitely if it has a good character creation system. I just like creating whatever I like to. As long as the gameplay is enjoyable, it does not have to be very deep. Even the deepest gameplay never lasts that long for my interest if it is a fighting game. Character creation, on the other hand... Put it this way. I thought MK:A sucked as a game, but the customization kept me playing it -daily- for over six months.

series.
I only really like the Dead or Alive, Street Fighter and Tekken series. Mortal Kombat is alright.

Tekken
Bloody Roar
Street Fighter
Dark Stalkers.
My favorites are Bloody Roar and Soul blade mostly because of nostalgia and I enjoy them the most. I love the Soul Calibur series especially 3 but 3 doesn't work on my PS2 anymore. crying ๑

Tekken 1-6
Soul Blade / Soul Calibur 2-4
Every Mortal Kombat except Armageddon
Blaz Blue
King of Fighters '94 - '99
Dark Stalkers
Bloody Roar 1 & 2
Rival Schools
Street Fighter 2, Alpha 1-3, Street Fighter 3, Street Fighter 4
DBZ Budokai
Dead Or Alive 2-4
Marvel vs Capcom 2
Tekken used to be my absolute favorite, especially back when Tekken 3 was released (Tekken Beach Ball, anyone?) But it's been a little 'meh' lately, even though Tekken still holds a special place in my heart. I also loved Soul Blade/ Soul Calibur, Marvel vs Capcom 2 and Darkstalkers. For now, the Blaz Blue series if my favorite, though I haven't played it in ages....

Soul Calibur is my favorite fighting game. As for who is my favorite to use that would probably be Talim.
King of Fighters is another favorite. Kula Diamond FTW.
