He was enjoying himself more and more with each cut and gash. A nick here, a deep slice here, and a small incision here. All were grand, and he watched as his small blades turned red and flicked up droplets on the ground and across her pristine fuku. Stained red. He wondered how nice it would be to see her body on the news, destroyed, and for all the senshi to see. Still, he couldn't enjoy himself too much. With the cuts to her body, he wondered if her starseed would be jeopardized if he let her go into shock, and decided now was better than ever to take the grand prize.
His knee went down as he knelt. With her hands over her face, her chest was exposed. Still, her elbows were in the way. Well, he'd work those out. It was a strange magic that let his hand travel up and slip into the cavity of her chest. Just like that, but he took his other hand, dismissing his weapon, to reach up and push her elbow out of the way to get a better feel. Once he had the crystal in his grip, there would be worrying. She would be as good as dead and, if she lived, a tragic shell of a person. A vegetable. Either way, he could care less.
It was just FINDING the blasted thing that took a moment.

Denebola didn't even realize that she had exposed what she should have focused on protecting. Of course she also didn't really know that he could just reach in to her chest, well it was possible but she was just trying to protect what she could of her body and wasn't thinking too much about her starseed. So when the small captain reached his hand into her chest she lurched up and let out a gasp.
It took her a second to even register what was going on, all she truly knew was that his hand should not be in her chest. When she realized what was going on she began to, inwardly, panic and did the first thing she could think of. She lifted the arms he had shoved aside and used as much strength as she could muster to throw them against him and shove him off of her. She was so, so, so thankful he hadn't found her starseed quickly as she scrambled to free her ankle and get to her feet.
She didn't focus on, or think about, the wounds he had inflicted because her mind was thinking of only one thing. Run! Get away! Flee! At the current moment her wounds did not ache, though the bleeding continued profusely, her survival instincts had dulled the pain.

Just as she, Wolframite wasn't exactly focused on the dangers. It was a mistake to assume that grabbing for a starseed more or less meant the fight was over, and his mind was simply set on the reward of feeling a senshi's starseed in his grasp. While digging about in the abyss that was inside her, it took him by surprise that he was thrown out and back, and with the frantic energy of a young senshi, it was still a good distance she managed.
Hitting his back to the ground, he was left stunned for a moment, hand empty and now in real air and not in the darkness that only members of the Negaverse could reach – or so he assumed. Groaning, he got up , rubbing his back as he looked out to see the senshi running for her life. "What a pain." He groaned, rising up and running after her. He thought that with all the slashes she would have been slowed down, and he wondered if a good run would just rush all the blood out and really weaken her. Running was not something you did with lots of cuts on your body. It just made the bleeding more. Rushing past, he snatched ups his weapon and gave chase. She had energy, but it wouldn't last for long. It was just like tailing a deer you were hoping would drop at some point. All he had to do was catch up.
"I am going to rip you to shreds when I catch you. You should have stayed put." He called after her, more than annoyed at this point that she was making this whole thing a big ordeal. He wanted her to panic, to run, and to get that heart pumping, the blood flowing, and to get weak. Then he'd like to see her shove anyone.

Blood loss was effecting her but she did her best not to just collapse while she was still in the wide open. She still had a bit to go before she could seclude herself in the shadows of the many trees that littered the park. Her heart was pounding and she was growing light headed, she just needed a minute, a second...just a moment of time to wrap at least one of her wounds off to stop the bleeding.
If she wasn't careful she'd pass out, but at the same time her instincts were screaming at her to continue to run, to flee as far away as possible. She just needed to escape.
She found a cluster of trees that she ducked behind not stopping at the first one but moving deeper into the shadows before pressing her back against the trunk of a tree. She inhaled a shaky breath as she tore a piece of her skirt off and wrapped it around her upper arm creating a poor makeshift bandage. It was sloppy and poorly tied but it would do. She had the chance to tie another piece around her waist before she thought she heard him approaching.
Panic swelled in her chest and she took of running praying that her in depth knowledge of the park would allow her to escape the captain. She was running at her top speed with only adrenaline keeping her going. When that ran out...she was screwed.
In the heat of the moment it occurred to her that her magical abilities could aid her, her attack was a speed boost that lasted for about a minute...that could be just enough time (with the added speed) to escape. She didn't have time to think of the repercussions, she only had time to act.
"Flight of the dragonflies," she whispered desperate to not draw attention to herself. She felt the magic course through her and her momentum increase. She just needed to get away. She fled as fast as she could. She was lucky to escape even as she collapsed a few blocks from home both from her wounds and the exhaustion left by the use of her ability. She was found, powered down by her brother who took her to the hospital.
Fiona was lucky to have survived at all.
