I'll make sure to ask her when I go.
I have an appointment with my family doctor on the 22nd and I'll ask about PCOS and fibroids, and maybe just get a uterine ultrasound to rule out anything worse.
In other news, we're on week five. Not dead yet. :]

I'm still not that concerned really. Although I haven't had much of an appetite, haven't really be sleeping that well and have had hardly any focus on school work.
I'm just trying not to think about it. Gotta do this day-by-day.

Lil Fiya Mama I'd suggest a menstrual cup. It's reusable, and will save you tons of money, and imo, more discreet than tampons/pads. Plus, no risk of TSS. Moon CupDiva CupThose are the two most popular, but there are many other brands out there. WHAT THE ********.

5 weeks is a while. I'd ask to draw labs to check for anemia. With you being tired and a lack of apetite that would be my concern. Regarding fibroids, many times it does not exclude carrying children. You may need surgery to remove them but they normally try to make sure your uterus stays intact. I'm actually wondering if you are cramping a lot as it could it be endometriosis. That causes heavy bleeding. PCOS was another option, they will have to send you to an endocronologist for but they can also rule out any other hormonal imbalances. There is a PCOS check list here... PCOS check list at WebMDUnderstand though and hopefully you get a doctor who understands this syndrome as well, this list is a set of markers that may indicate PCOS. It doesn't necessarily mean you have cysts on your ovaries. It's a systemic issue and is treated systemically. Regardless, keep us posted as to what the doctor says. If you get any more tired or if the bleeding picks up. If you are getting large clots (golf ball size or larger) go ahead to the ER. They will have to at least examine you and run some tests. Good luck.

No cramps whatsoever, actually! And the clots aren't HUGE, but they're still happening. The flow seems to be getting lighter though, so I'm going through fewer tampons and am feeling pretty good.
The only problem now is that I have a bit of a cold and I'm still bleeding. :B

If it's fibroids, I see all kinds of adverts on the train for treating uterine fibroids without a hystorectomy. THEY SHOOT LASERS IN YOUR v****a CAIT. FRICKIN'. LASERS.
And it doesn't interfere with how babby is maed, so you can still have kids

When I was on the depo shot, I bled for two and a half months. They told me to take a regular dose of ibuprofen 2-3 times a day for 5 days and the bleeding stopped.

Saw my doctor today. She gave me an exam, checked everything out and nothing looks out of the ordinary. And we talked about the possibility of what it is or isn't. We've pretty much ruled out any internal skin tags, tumors, etc. So that's excellent.
Also got three samples of blood taken to see if there are darker forces then the ones we can feel in the uterus, and we'll get the results of those in a few days. She thinks it has to do with my thyroid hormone, and also doesn't deny that it's possible that my period just doubled up for this cycle.
She also said, "if you got back to your normal cycles, then we can all just stop caring and forget it happened, hahaha." I love my doctor. X3 She always makes me feel so comfortable, even when she's looking at my hoohaw.
Addendum: "Are you sexually active?" "Not lately." "Well, if you have sex with men, then it might've just been a miscarriage." "I don't have sex with men." "AH, well, that would make it even stranger."
