♫Heidi watched the other girl leave and she sat back up again. She fixed her hair once more before carefully getting up and walking over to Gail. She leaned over with a grin on her face. "Well now, it looks like I have a roommate I'll actually get along with. How about you and me go cause some trouble. You know, first impressions mean everything. And I want to make sure these people won't be able to forget me." she said as she winked at the girl and walked over to her suitcase. She rummaged around before finding cans of grafitti paint and pulling them out. There were a ton of different colors and she had borrowed them from a friend of hers. They usually always did pranks and some of them usually involved defacing property. She tossed a few cans toward Gail and then walked to the door. "Either you can join me and have a little fun, or sit here and be bored all by yourself." she said to her with a soft chuckle as she walked out the door.
She noticed Shane, but she brushed right past him as she looked around for the perfect spot to work on her art. She remembered the giant Camp Sunshine sign at the gate and she decided to start there. She took her bright lime green paint and began to cross out the word Sunshine before replacing it with the word hell. She then began to add a bunch of different designs that would definitely piss off the counselors here. Which is exactly what she wanted. She wanted all of them to know that she wasn't going down without a fight.

Shane almost gasped as a pretty and tall brunette walked past him. woah! he thought, a little bit surprised. "Thanks" He said, smiling back at Casey. Shane looked up as he saw Heidi walk by him.
"Hola Heidi "Shane said hoping he had the right girl where is she going?! He wondered"vamos a averiguar" he to himself and quietly followed. Shane smiled when he saw what she did. "Looks like I get an exciting summer this year" He said to her. Shane grinned and nodded to her "Nice artwork Heidi. It's going to take a LOT more than that if you're trying to anger me though. I'm your counselor, Shane Rivera. Rivera is my mom's maiden name, but you don't care. But don't think of me as a counselor, because if I remember correctly. Talking to a counselor can be unnerving and, make you feel like you got some darn problems, that people make you feel like sh-t about. Think of me more as a friend, a friend who understands confidentiality. Just someone you can talk to. The more you can be yourself around me, the easier it'll be for the both of us." Shane held out a hand, then took it back. If he was right, she wouldn't be in the mood for a handshake. "By the way, También estoy con fluidez en español e italiano. Así como de Inglés" Shane smiled his amazing smile again. "... By the looks of it. You are not enjoying yourself. And I'm not going to lie and say that you will... But you might enjoy it" Shane's smile almost faded when his phone rang che nel mondo è che?! he thought, determined not to answer. He'd call back later, when he was in his cabin. Or when ever he had the time.
Shane sighed and fought the urge to text Nate. it can wait he thought. Shane jumped as his phone beep for a text don't look Shane, Don't YOU DARE LOOK

♫Heidi glared at Shane as she put her hands on her hips. "Yeah, I've got problems. I'm not afraid to admit it. I like having problems. It's more fun. It's like coloring outside the lines." she said as she scoffed at him. "And you know what, I don't want to be friends because I have at least one person I can talk to already. I'm going to stay here against my will and I'll do whatever I want until the summer ends. Got it." she said as she went back to working on her art. She started making a picture of the entire place blowing up with her smiling happily. She heard Shane's phone ring and she glanced over at him. "You and I are done talking so you can answer your phone now." she said as she went back to the art work. So far, she could already tell she truly was going to hate it here. All of the counselors she had met were trying to be her friend and she didn't want them to. She wanted them to just leave her alone. If they really wanted to be her friend, they'd have to try and live like her.

Shane nodded and raised his hand up in a surrender. "Alright, I'm sorry. I wont be your friend if you don't want me to. And I must admit, being wild and outgoing IS fun. You may not believe it. But this bookworm you're looking at, used to be an alcoholic... Okay, go ahead do what ever you want. But seriously, I wasn't kidding... you should come and talk to me. If not be my friend, then let me get to know you. You're pretty, and your artwork is pretty good. I can tell I might enjoy this summer." Shane nodded and pulled out his phone and walked a little ways away. But she could still hear him.
"Hola?... Si madre... no... Mother!..." Shane let out an exasperated sigh "Mother... no but... Mother listen to me!...questi ragazzi non mi hanno fatto tornare al mio vecchio modo....non hanno mai vinto e hanno t... Thank you, alright bye" Shane smils and walks back to Heidi "It's Heidi, right?" he asked. As he waited for an aswer he looked at his text.

♫Heidi glanced at Shane when he said he used to be an alcoholic. "Yeah, you used to be. But unlike you, I don't want to change." she said before she hiccuped. Her face was flushed as the alcohol was beginning to set into her system. She kept herself steady though as she finished up the artwork. The sign looked completely trashed and was full of nothing but hateful words. She smiled and laughed before tossing the empty can behind her. "Flattery will get you no where deary. And the only thing you need to know about me is that I'm a rebel and I'm going to make this entire summer is a living hell for you." she said as she opened a pink can of paint. She then spray painted a pink "H" on the front of his shirt before laughing hysterically. "I'm Heidi Harrison. Remember that name." she said before she walked away and began to look around for something else she could vandalize.

He finished a Red Bull and pulled out a mini Monster, his eyes fluttering slightly. He had realized, as time went on, that it was getting much harder to stay awake. His body was getting used to having so much caffine in it, but his muscles just didn't move the same. He couldn't stand up straight, couldn't shrug fully, and some other things that just weren't important.
It caught the dark brunette off when a girl came over his eyes snapped open and he became alert. It wasn't every day that a pretty girl came to talk to a freak like him. He cleared his throat and watched the brunette as she spoke, taking another swig of his Monster. "I am Todd," he replied carefully, arching a dark eyebrow. "And okay." His responses seem more or less bored than anything. Since his body was used to the caffine, he just wasn't as jittery. Or hyper. She pulled her iPod earbuds from around her neck and wound them around her iPod, setting it down on the steps next to her. She looked at the camp, spotting Heidi and Shane. She sighed, running a hand through her hair in exasperation. Good thing we're on a rarely used road, Casey thought in dismay. More work for the counselors alongside the kids. Pushing the thoughts from her mind, the pretty brunette looked up at Todd. She noted her features, and especially the bags underneath his eyes. She knew she'd have to slowly work her way through to him, not just jump in with both feet. She had to get him to sleep, and help him through his nightmares. Possibilites rang through her mind. She stood again, leaning on one of the posts that held the cabin's roof up. "Todd, nice to meet you. So, where do you come from? How was the ride up?" Casey asked warmly, trying to break the ice with her teen. She knew her questions were corny, but hey, what's better than some corny get to know you questions? The last thing the pretty counselor wanted to do was to alienate her teen. Todd seemed like an okay guy, but you had to look past his outer shell. Shane just kept smiling "Hey, I never said I WANTED to change. I just did, but after I did, I realized how hard it had been for my mom. I'm not going to try to change you. And who said anything about flattery? I was being serious." he protested. Shane ALMOST gasped as she began spraying him. He just stared while she made the H. Shane looked up and chuckled "Now I know which shirt to wear when I want people to know who's counselor I am" he joked. "By the way, I haven't totally broken my habit..." Shane began hesitantly "I still enjoy a drink now and then. And I gotta say, it drives my mom absolutely Bonkers. She's scared I'll go back to being alcoholic." Shane still smiling, thought to himself why'd you just say that? Why am I asking myself that. It's not like she's going to pressure me or anything... Shane's smile faded, but he wasn't unhappy. He sighed and called after her "By the way! Some of the counselors can be pretty crazy. No telling what they'll do if they find out what you're doing" Shane yelled, not yelled as in angry, just yelled as in he wanted her to hear him.

♫Heidi just smiled and laughed as she turned back to him. "I'd love to seem them try!" she said as she crossed her arms. "You say you still drink? Well then bad boy, proove it!" she said as she pulled her flask out of her back pocket. She shook the flask back and forth, listening to the sound of the vodka swishing around. She started to head back towards him, but only half way. She still held the flask out to him with a mischievious grin on her face. If he did take a least a small sip of this vodka, she'd give him a chance. It he chickened out, then she would leave and stop wasting her time. The thing she hated most about therapists and counselors was that they were always trying to understand you, but they never could. If this counselor could proove that he really did understand her well then she would at least try to cooperate. Though she was never going to change. She vowed to herself to stay rebellious as long as she was here.

Shane's eyes went wide as he eyed her flask "Well... I-I really, sh-shouln't...." he stammered. He mentally smacked himself for showing his vulnerability right now. ONE TEENSY little sip Shane? PLEEEEAASE? it won't hurt... Again, Shane mentally slapped himself. He took in a staggered breath. if I don't, I might never get through to her Shane let his eyes follow the flask back and forth, and back and forth. His head had almost started swaying with the flask. Shane shook his head, "Uhm... w-well" he stuttered again. Man I haven't heard vodka in SO long! he thought. Some people that Shane met, thought it was kind of cool that he could usually tell which alcoholic drink it was just by the sound it made in the flask. Come on Shane, mom will never know. Course' she never thought I'd be tempted either. I pretty much blew that idea out of her mind Once again Shane took in a staggered breath. Some time had passed since she offered, to him, it felt like hours, but it was probably only a few minutes.
Shane swallowed hard as he slowly and hesitantly walked towards the flask. His eyes still booring into it. He tentatively reached out his hand for the vodka. Shane's finger found that all too familiar grasp around the flask. He didn't mean to smile, it just escaped him. So now, there he was, holding a flask of vodka in one hand, grinning like an idiot. Shane opened the flask and brought it to his nose and he took in a breath of the smell that he'd taken out of his life. Shane's idiotic grin got bigger. He looked and Heidi, winked and looked even more cute while doing it. And Finally... took a swig of vodka. Shane held it out to her "Good enough for ya?" he asked, smiling.

♫Heidi looked at him and she laughed happily. "Yeah, but I don't think you really truly enjoyed it. Go ahead and take another swig. This time, actually taste it." she said as she raised the flask back to his lips again. She smiled at him with an arched brow to see if he would really do it. Honestly, she wanted to see if she could get him drunk. To see if she could bring out his real fun side. She stepped closer to him and was only inches from his face and the flask that she had placed right by his lips. She could smell the strong aroma of the vodka and she knew he could too. "Be honest with yourself Shane. You know you want to." she said as she winked at him. She was only being flirty just to get her way. She did that with everyone usually.

Shane thought for a moment. "Well" he began Come on Shane, what kind of a counselor are yo--. He stopped his thoughts as he smelled the vodka. Instead of taking it right away, he, at first- settled with just taking in a nice, deep breath. "mia madre mi avrebbe ucciso se avesse scoperto quello che stavo facendo" Shane said and, not AS hesitantly as before, but still pretty hesitant, he wrapped his fingers around the flask again. be honest with yourself Shane. You know you want to. Her words rang through his mind. And he came to the shocking realization, that right here, right now... he DID want to. He's always wanted to, Just everyone, everything stopped him but NOW, i'm here, out in the middle of nowhere... who's it gonna hurt? Shane thought as he took another swig, slower this time, following her instructions and actually tasting it. Shane winked and smiled back at her from behind the flask.
Shane was smiling now. He brought his pointer to his lips. "No one hears, or knows about this. Alright?" he said, wanting a lot more of that flask. Shane took her wrist and led her to a small(ish) area with trees. Enough trees so no one would see them. "Now, enlighten me. How the heck, did you get your vodka to Camp Sunshine, or as you put it Camp Hell?" he asked

♫Heidi laughed and stumbled as he led her to an area that seemed secluded and far away from the others so they couldn't be seen. She took the flask back from him to take a quick swig when she heard his question. "Now now honey, why don't we drink now and ask questions later." she said as she passed the flask back to him. She wasn't going to tell him about her secret stash of all her favorite kinds of drinks that was hidden in her suitcase. Even though she was drunk, she was skilled and knew how to keep from spilling her secrets. "As for you, I'll keep your dirty little secret and I might even consider you a friend now. But only if you agree to stay out of my way." she said as she stumbled a bit and leaned against a tree for balance. She crossed one leg over the other as she faced him, taking a long look to notice all his features. She had to admit, he was cute. But she wasn't too sure if he would be just another fling or something more. She hadn't seen everyone yet so she was keeping her options open.

Shane grinned and took the flask as she handed it back to him. "Right, drink now, ask later... I can do that" His last couple words (I can do that) came out a little quicker than he wanted. Shane shook it off and took another swig. It was clear that he wasn't getting any answers out of her anytime soon. He looked up at her request. "Now that, my dear" he paused and took another swig "May prove to be harder than you think. I could try" Shane paused again and held the flask out towards her, his hands shaking more than they should. But hey, that's what happens when you've been alcoholic free for years now. "But keeping out of your way could be hard. No matter how I tried" Shane grinned again, still holding the flask. His eyes drifted to her hair "Nice hair Heidi" Shane said, trying to make conversation.
Shane, still smiling, looked around to make sure no one was coming. There was NO WAY he was going to let anyone see what he was doing. Even half drunk he still had some sense. But then, his body had gotten used to it years back. So his body knew how to keep his sense while drunk. Most of the time anyways

♫Heidi smiled at him as he complimented her hair. She ran her fingers through the pink and black streaks before she chuckled. "Well you can at least try. Oh,thanks. See, today it's pink. But tomorrow, it could be blue or green or maybe purple. How about all three?" she asked herself before laughing. She pulled him close as she grabbed the flask from him and could feel him shaking. She rolled her eyes as she remembered this was probably the first drink he had in years. She ran her fingers through his hair before grinning playfully at him. "Relax deary! Enjoy the buzz!" she said as she laughed and moved closer to him. "Oh and I love your hair." she whispered in his ear as she twined her fingers in his hair. She was only inches from his lips and was purposely teasing him to see if she could get him to crack. She took a long drink from the flask before she handed it back to him.
