"Me ei... Wait... hold on... ...never mind." S'in heaved an huge sigh as he straightened up, rubbing the bridge of his nose. This, was one extremely frustrating task. Harpers would probably skip this part, when, and if, they wrote songs about the hunt.
"I thought I saw one but I guess it was just wishful thinking." He admitted ruefully.
If there was one you would have spotted it. Linnaeth noted, with great certainty, heaving a sigh comprable to his partner. For such a useful plant it's being very difficult
You said it... After scouring half the field until he could feel a crick debating making a home at the base of his back, he wasn't in the mood to argue the idea of plants being capable of being 'difficult'. This one certainly seemed to be making an argument for having some kind of mind of it's own.

Oh? S'in had found something? Set'al perked up immediately, but it was not to be. "There's gotta be something somewhere..."
The bronzerider continued to weave methodically back and forth, back and forth, with Pipith's voice as insistent background noise in his mind. Why hadn't they found something yet? They'd better hurry up and find something, because it would start getting dark soon, and then they definitely wouldn't find anything. And they wouldn't be able to look again until tomorrow!

"I think the Mistweed must have gotten wise, it's gone into hiding... that or maybe we're all looking in the wrong spots." S'in sighed. He'd come out here knowing that the thing was hard to find, but somehow it was a little different actually experiencing the frustration and difficulty of searching endlessly and finding absolutely nothing.
"If someone flies out here tomorrow and finds a grove full of the things just out side of where everyone's been looking, I don't think I'll know weather or not to laugh or cry." He sighed, regretfully.
"Maybe we just picked the wrong clearing." He suggested. "...Unfortunately Linnaeth and I should probably start back, since we've got to take the long route."

"I can't say I'd be surprised." Set'al mustered a wry grin, returning to an unhappily yellow-eyed Pipith. His rider was a little disappointed, sure - he couldn't help but hope they'd find something - but the bronze was now outright sulky.
"Well, there's always tomorrow," he said, trying to sound encouraging. "And the next day, I guess.
"Either way, it was a pleasure meeting you both." He extended his hand.

"You too, Set'al, Sir." S'in took the other rider's hand and gave it a polite, firm shake and smiled, in spite of his disappointment over not finding one of the plants.
"Good luck in any future searches, sir." He added. It seemed like a good thing to say.
Are we going back now?
"Yes, Lin, it's a good time to head back."
He didn't have to say it out loud, but it seemed polite, at the time.
