Having her playfully check against him, and proceed to dance up ahead of him with her tail in the air...well, again, that was different. In spite of being freshly doused, Cas's face felt very hot, and the rest of his body was registering this whole situation under a general sort of 'turmoil' heading. Sisters definitely did not act like that around Slaves. Except - and there went his face up in flames again - except when they were out to get...well...pregnant. A half-dozen off-color jokes from his adolescence sprang into his mind (how can you tell if a Sister is expecting?) as quickly as he could blink them away; that couldn't be what was motivating Taiyou, here, it didn't add up. In which case...that left him in an uncomfortable situation. He bumbled along after her, his thoughts of fishing thoroughly preempted.

Taiyou in the mean time, had no clue of the turmoil she was putting Cas in. She mostly wanted attention was all, and she'd always loved the boys. He was especially interesting to her though since he was big and very nice. She even gave a happy sigh. She was thinking of how nice it would be to snuggly up to this cutie, how nice and warm and fuzzy and solid he'd be...
She roused herself from her daydream as they got further down the stream and stops suddenly. "Is this good?" She asks and sniffs the water. if there were fish in it that would be good and she figured they might have went far enough so the fish wouldn't have been disturbed by their splashing.

"Hum?" Cas's head cocked momentarily as he tried to flounder his way back to reality. Oh, fishing! That's right! His tongue lolled in giddy relief at having something else to think about, and he lumbered up to the riverside in much higher spirits. Peering into the water, he pondered his odds, and began to carefully step his way into the the stream. The trick was finding quiet places in the current - places a fish could doze off without worrying about ending up halfway to the ocean by the time they woke up, and the layout of this stretch of water had a wealth of possibilities. He drifted his way upstream, giving Taiyou a bashful glance, until he found what he was looking for and struck his head down into the water like a kingfisher. Rearing back up, he made for the bank, a thrashing fish snared between his jaws. It wasn't going to win anything for size, maybe, but it looked like enough to keep Varia off a Sister's a**. Leaping a good few yards away from the stream's edge, the dripping wolf dropped his catch, peeping at last back to Taiyou with a smile and a doofy little wag of his tail. "Found something."

Taiyou was so focused on the water she didn't even realize he'd walked into it until there was a splash. She started at the noise and looked up. He had dragged out a decent sized fish. Her eyes brightened and she pulled back the paw she was about to place in the stream before bounding over to him. "Oh wow! You're amazing!" She exclaims and gives him a lick on the cheek before she bends over to examine the flopping fish. This would be perfect to bring back.

"Oh," he bumbled, stepping back from the fish; there they went with that inappropriate conduct again. Still...gosh, she was cute when she was happy! All this conflicting information made his brain hurt. He sat down, trepidation apparent in his broad face. What was he supposed to do?

She grinned happily and sniffed the now dead fish before nudging it over. Then she wagged her tail and laughed. "Let's take it back to camp. I guess Varia won't skin me after all. Thanks." She woofs at him and takes a step forward. She brushes up against him and gives him a decent snuggle before she scoops the fish up in her maw and starts to trot back to amp. She turned to look back at him to make sure he was coming.

A sound along the lines of "Erngh," escaped the soggy wolf as he found himself cuddled up against Taiyou. It barely lasted long enough for his head to spin; she was so warm, and she smelled positively wonderful, and he only got more anxious as she pulled away. Bereft of fish and wolf, Cas remained where he sat for a few desperate moments: some part of his brain not acquainted with words was insisting, using pictures, that he simply follow her lead. A lifetime of conditioning, however, begged otherwise. He stood, slowly, but made no real move to follow after her.

"Coming?" She asks around a mouthful of fish. She grins and wags her tail good naturedly. She didn't really want to go back alone, and besides, he was cute. She liked him even though he got such distressed looks on his face whenever she'd show any kind of affection. But she'd gotten used to that or stony indifference from the males around here. She didn't blame them for acting that way, but simply had gotten used to it.

He...he was having a hell of a conundrum, really. But Taiyou wasn't acting like there was anything wrong going on here! Maybe he was thinking about this whole thing the wrong way - focusing on the fact that her conduct didn't match the other Sisters' when he should just be minding his own business; that is to say, being deferent, and being available. He may or may not have noticed a satisfied little purr from his lizard brain in the ensuing peace of mind. "Of course, Sister," he chirped, giving his tail a little wag and bounding to catch up with her, his face lit up like a sunrise. "I just wouldn't mention who else has had their mouth around your fish."
