He was looking around again while Salma struggled to speak again-- and then spit out the question and he looked back to her, not answering immediately. He had been wondering the same but knew the easiest thing to do would be just to stick around.
"I figured I might," he said, "What do you think?"

She waited impatiently, keeping herself out the outside cool, but the inside mentally fidgeting. She didn't pick this place to woo him; she was a little smarter than that. It was still a great place to live, but placing her belief in her ideals of showing appreciation for the gods took a stronger place in her heart that trying to just settle somewhere and hope for the best....regarding Tete.
Feeling herself twist her insides again, she felt like she missed what he had said. Was he looking at her expectantly? She resisted the urge to gulp, and let the words that lingered in the air fill in the blanks for her.
"I...would really like that," she finally said. The knots were still there, but not as painful. She had to do this not just for her, but for everyone. She only hoped that she knew what she was getting into.
