You mixing up the four horsemen of the apocalypse with the 7 seals of the angels.

Four horsemen, red, black, white and pale (gray). Each will signify the start of a plague on earth. War, famine, conquest, and death, respectively. Each of these can be literal or figurative, I for one don't care. I believe that God could have these horses show up before each of the plagues.
And even though the horses came out of the 7 seals, there are only 4.
The other 3 seals are,
Earthquakes, sun turns black, moon turns red and sealing 144,000.
A vision of those that were slain for God
seventh seal is the start of the final judgement.

I've found that Google isn't the best source for Bible interpretations actually.

The Christian Church's Bible is quite an interesting read, in that it is so different from many other books of faith/ideology. The Tao Te Ching, for example, is entirely aphorisms, written in poetry form. Similarly, the Qur'an is essentially a very long piece of sheet music. Alas, one must speak Arabic in order to fully enjoy the Qur'an, whereas with the Christian Church's Bible, one may translate it ad infinitum without losing anything that might not ordinarily be lost. (as it has already been, prior to being translated into American).

However, the other interesting aspect of the CCB lies within its very name. It is one of the very few books which will never be done being written or altered. While this may be disconcerting to some, I find that this is a very positive quality - in this manner, the book may be maintained so that it may fit the modern time even more so than any other religious text, which may only be written in a manner in which the text merely generally fits all times, as it does not change.

I've only an old copy of "Good News for Modern Man" from the '60s - has anything changed recently?

The Bible twists in the wind with every new edition.

Pardon that. I'm a very spiritual man, but the fact that the Bible's been so constantly misconstrued has often been a cause of aggravation for me. The story's are great, but its subtle elements are often changed - allowing for constant misinterpretation both fundamentally and metaphorically. Alot of principles and iconic characters aren't even found within the bible. For example, Satan, the cloven hoofed fiend? Not present. Only in name, never description. Angels have been grossly misinterpreted from their actual visage, The Antichrist is no singular entity, but all who disbelieve in the resurrection and in Jesus...

The list goes on. How people can so warp holy texts is rather saddening, but I suppose it can't be helped. Especially hen the text itself is huge, and few have the patience to actually check to see if what they say they believe is indeed what is written.

There are many common things in the bible that are misunderstood, and many things that are taken literal and should not be.

There is great debate about this whole topic, however the bible has been changed so many times by the church itself that it is nearly rendered useless. The whole Apocrypha is missing from the mass printed versions of the bible, and many passages have been removed from it in ancient times.

I would recommend that no matter what your religious affiliation is that you check out a bible printed with the added content for the Mormon (LDS) church. I have found that on the whole in makes much more sense. If you enjoy biblical history, I think it can definitely add to what is missing. Joseph Smith had been in the middle of adding the missing passages, so some say, and on the whole it seems like it makes more sense.

I didn't mean to google any interpretations. I meant to google the "Amazing Facts" website, because I'm not so sure that I'm allowed to link something so religious here. I also don't think that the Bible is useless.

That's the understatement of the year to say the Bible is useful. : )
