With her mouth once more free, the cat gave some practical advise.
"Get into the aisle a bit more so nobody sees you. Come now... hurry!"
********* scooted into the aisle more, as if making room.
"Once nobody can see you, I need you to shout 'Spica Power, Make-up!'...yes, I am telling you to shout in the library. Whispering this won't do the job, I apologize to the librarian in advance."

Ariel still not sure about what she was doing just followed the cat. She couldn’t deny the cat was talking to her, but maybe there was someone behind it. She saw a show once a someone who was making his puppet talked, they called it a ventriloquist.
Anyways she arrived in a desert aisle, even if the entire library looked desert right now.
“I need to shout?” Clearly she didn’t like this idea, for her the library was the place where you should be quiet. But well, there was a girl screaming right now and a book with fangs so whatever.
She looked at the pen, and with a total untrustworthy heart she tried to shout “Spica Power, Make-up!” but nothing happened.
“Look like I am not a magical girl” she said half amused half disappointed.

"Oi! Goodness, shout it like you mean it... you will not be of much use as you are at the moment." The cat was padding her forepaws up and down in front of her anxiously.
"Try again, with more feeling this time!"

With more feeling? What this little cat was thinking, the young girl was actually talking with a cat, hiding from a book which was trying to eat someone and she needed to change into a sort of magical girl…. Difficult to mean it actually.
But well Ariel decided on her own she will help the little girl and it looked like the only solution she had, was to do what the talking cat was asking her to do.
“Ok ok” she said trying to convince herself.
I am able to do it; I am able to do it. She repeated herself.
Then she shouted
“Spica power, Make-up”
What happened next was even more unimaginable than the rest. She actually changed into a magical girl !!!
"No way" she said while looking at herself with new clothes and all. Her socks looked like candles now.

At least this time the girl had gotten it right. Sometimes it took a potential senshi 3 or 4 times to get this right. Once this girl began to change, the cat seemed comfortable enough to sit her haunches down to watch.
When the girl was done and finally turned to the cat, ********* nodded her head in the senshi's direction, a slight jingle of her collar accenting the movement. "Sailor Spica, Senshi of Candles... welcome."
Fortunately for the girl nearby who was now growing quite exhausted due to all of her efforts fending off the evil little book, she was no longer the object of desire. The book Youma paused long enough in its biting for the girl to toss it away and for her to run.
It hit the wall with a rather large grunt, but it strangely seemed able to hop back up into an upright position. There was something tastier nearby. A starseed that was more powerful than that stupid girl's starseed. Like the relatively unthreatening mini monster it was, it began to make its way over to where the senshi and the cat were hiding. One hop at a time. This was going to take some time...

Ariel felt on her knees, and looked directly at the cat.
"Sailor.... senshi...." she couldn't believe. She heard about it once or twice, but it was just rumors, for her powered people didn’t exist. But now she was one of them.
“This is really real?” she asked the cat, not bothering anymore about the fact that cat weren’t supposed to talk. She changed into magical girl!

Thump.
Thump.
Thump.
Each little hop the book monster made, it made a small thumping sound. It wasn't anything too noticeable in all honesty.
However, two ears twitched a bit at the noises. Two triangular ears. "I say it's really real... but that is up to you to decide at a later time. What good would it be for a dream to tell you it was real?" She laughed a light laugh, then turned to face the book that had attempted to sneak up on the pair.
"Do you know how to use your Hot Wax Ball, Spica? Or shall I refresh you on how to use it?"

Spica thought a moment.
"That is true" the cat statement was really true actually.
“Hot wax ball?” Spica didn’t understand that this current state was actually her former state and that she was a senshi before.
“I think I will go for the refresh because I don’t know what you are talking about”

********* ears twitched along to the book Youma's hopping as it came closer. Yet her eyes still remained on the new senshi.
"Hold out your hand, palm up and hand open." It was a simple instruction. "Then concentrate. Try to imagine a ball of wax there. When you think you have it formed, shout out 'Spica Hot Wax Ball'... you will know what to do from there."
The book paused for a moment just so it could open up its mouth to bare its fangs. Why wasn't the senshi afraid of its mighty terror?

The young girl was not paying attention at the youma coming at all. She had good ears in general but she was too concentrated on her new self.
"palm up and hand open" she repeated for herself.
"Imagine a ball of wax" she was doing the things slowly, like when she read a book, being sure she had all the information she needed.
She loved candles, she knew what wax would look like, now she needed to think about a ball of this. When she had the image ready she shouted out "Spica Hot Was Ball"
A small, really small ball of wax form on her hand and just fall on the ground "Oops"

When the ball hit the ground, it made a faint splatting sound, but rather quickly cooled and solidified.
"Good... now... try that again, but then throw the ball to the Youma." It was a good thing Astraea wasn't here. She probably would have been snapping at this senshi. Possibly insulting her.
Fortunately, it was ********* that was sitting in on this. She smiled as if there had been no mistake made at all.

The newly senshi tried again. The cat was nice, at least she didn't yell at her for the mistake
She did the same movement as before, making a bigger ball.
"Now point at the Youma" she said then paused.
"Wait what !" but she didn't have the time to complain as the book was in front of her with its fangs.
As a reflex she just put her hand in front of her and yelled "Spica Hot Wax Ball" with a screaming voice.

With even the slightest motion, the wax ball seemed to fall from the senshi's hand.
Not knowing what to make of this ball, the Youma did the thing its simple mind seemed to think was the proper solution to everything. It attempted to bite it. The moment the wax touched the teeth and the book-monster bit down, it almost seemed to fall back. If it was possible for a book to look like it was in pain, this book definitely seemed to be suffering. In all honesty, the Youma wanted to yelp out in pain, feeling an intense heat against its gums.
Yet it couldn't let out a single noise. The wax already began to solidify, preventing the monster from being able to open up again. It fell back, as if trying to figure out how to get free.
"Excellent work, Sailor Spica. Now, can you do me a favor? I'd like it if you could pick up that Youma and then go with me outside for a moment." The cat was already up to her paws and beginning to make her way back to the door. Apparently the feline wasn't afraid of being seen, or of this senshi being seen as well.

The senshi was looking at the scene amazed.
It is me who did this?
She couldn’t believe it, but it looked like she was actually able to do something. Now she just followed the cat order, she took the Youma book, and actually started to look at it under all the angles (now that she had no risk to be bitten). This was really strange, she loved books a lot, but this was out of understanding.
She followed the cat outside, not really paying attention to the fact she had candles like clothes.

In the senshi's hand, the book attempted to struggle, but it wasn't nearly as much of a threat now. It just felt as if it was jerking on occasion from side to side.
The feline waited for the Senshi of Candles to open the door, then trotted out. She then rounded the building and continued moving forward until she had located an alleyway.
"You can set the book down... then please move to the side."
