From The First Time That I watched This Anime, I Was Really Againts Light Yagami, A.K.A. Kira .. Because, All These Criminals .. Being Sent To Prison .. I Think It's Enough For Them Already .. I Mean .. They're Time Of Staying There .. As Depended On The Case .. Is .. Already Worth It .. I Mean .. Death Penalty For Each Of Those Crime/s ..? I'm Definitely On Hideki Ryuuzaki/Lawliet/L's Side ..

Im siding with L. Although i see where light is coming from, HIS idea of right (and im not saying it's wrong) is being dealt with the wrong way. Yes he hates these criminal's committing crime or whatever, but they're being sentenced to prison, for years or even life. Whats the point of killing them all?
That just makes him part of what he despises most. One man can't change the world for eveyone. I don't think L changed the world they live in either, But he was remembered, because his intentions where better than light's. So Im Very much on L's side.

I'm siding with L for quite a few reasons.
Although Light's intentions were good for the first week, that simply doesn't justify the fact that he actually did kill people. And it's not just the criminals I'm talking about - L, Naomi, and all the other innocent people who had crossed paths with him. Killing is killing, no matter what the cause, and if you're trying to make the world a better place you can't resort to that as a means of getting there.
Second, Light just went power crazy. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, right? Well that's just his case. And he allowed it to happen; he completely changed his motives by the end, from wanting to help the world, to wanting to beat L no matter what the cost, to even wanting to become the god of the new world.
All you Kira fans, just think for one moment - would you really let a boy in highschool [or college] make your decisions for you? I wouldn't. During Death Note, Light got lazy, and that lack of effort put into his planning lead to his [thankful] death.
Now, I know L's way of doing things may be a bit unorthodox, but at least his intentions and ways of achieving his goals were pure. He didn't want to kill people; he was a detective.
Therefore, because of all the reasons mentioned above, I am siding most definitely with L.

L's side definitely because if the legal justice system did not give them the death penalty then light doesn't have the right to. Also, near the end, light was killing innocent people as well and that made it really hard for me to try and see things from his perspective.

L looks more like the protagonist rather than the antagonist in DeathNote.....My vote's for him.

-I am on Kira's Light(Raito) Yagami's side!
I belive that he did the best thing any one could do to make peace in the world...Plus..I would Kill people too, I Know too many people that i hold dearest that have been hurt in the past..scared for life...
-Kira's Form of Justice isnt right...but its the best thing...no other human would coaporate...So Death would be the best answer..in my veiw..
-I belive that it is rong to kill crimminlas but then i belive it is the best thing to do...Okay It is Fatc that 80% of the crimminals that are released from prison go back to commiting Crimes...sometimes even worse...So I would kill them to stop the crimes!

I'm on Light/Kira's side. I mean he was just killing criminals, and the few innocent people he did kill, he had to because they were in his way of ecoming "god of the new world~ Plus L just somehow rubs me the wrong way =3=

i am one hundred percent on L's side. me personally i think everyone deserves a chance at life, but its whether or not that you choose a right path for your self.Yes indeed criminals are terrible, but no matter how hard we try satan can easily touch us. Also killing of criminals just makes you one with then, so why not join them right? Murder is never the answer

I feel the need to have sympathy for Kira's opinion on the justice system, but I do 100% agree with L's thoughts on the matter. I don't really have an argument, but I just wanted to point that out... cat_blaugh

I side with L. Apart from him being cute, adorable, funny-ness, and just a-wanna-have-him feeling, he has a better sense of justice than 'Kira' yum_puddi
