"Well, in some aspects, it is like those things. The things you need to do are important. And going home and getting ready for bed can be important too." The cat nodded her head, thinking she did a decent job explaining the situation.
What is your senshi name, little one?
The pen was picked up, but the complementary cell phone was left by its lonesome. And would continue to be all by its lonesome.
Hugbell?
Okay, even the name sounded like it was meant to be something small.
Chibi Hugbell.
That was what sounded right. With a firm nod, the manx proceeded to give directions that a child could understand.
"You need to take that pen, hold it tightly, and then shout as loud as you can 'Hugbell Power, Make-up!' If you do that, I promise you something special will happen." It was up to each individual as to whether or not they decided the new role as a senshi was a blessing or a curse.

Istas noticed the cell phone too, only after she inspected the pen. A lot, she was listening to the cat too though. From what she was raised talking animals were... important.
She nodded when she was told to shout as loud as she could, curls bouncing. She held the pen tightly and called as loud as her little lungs could, "HUGBELL POWER, MAKE-UP!!"
The promise of something special was enough to push her to finding out what would happen. One moment she was standing there as Istas, the next something was happening, with sparkles and ribbons and it was all really spectacular to the little girl. When she was finished transforming, she was standing hood over her curls, shoes, and lace, and bows, and with a brown bear in her arms. She wished she had a mirror to see herself in.
She blinked, "Ohhh..... right, this too." That's when she picked up the Cell phone so as not to forget it. She looked at the Kitty, "Did I do it right?"

"Hmmm..."
The cat stood up after the transformation and began to pad about the girl, taking note of her appearance. No, it wasn't the first time she had seen a senshi. However, it was the first time she had seen one so small. It was worthwhile for her to repeat her previous sentiment.
"Hmmm..."
Eventually the cat decided to answer the senshi's question. "Yes... yes you did do it right. Good job, Sailor Chibi Hugbell." Small senshi, mouthful of a title.
The creature had finally found them. Yes. However, there was something different about the situation now. The creature couldn't quite place a finger on it. Partially because it didn't have fingers, but also because it couldn't figure it out.
Youma weren't built to be thinkers. With a sudden leap, it landed on the plastic playground equipment.
The sudden company caused the equipment to shake.
"...oh, we have company..." the manx's voice said warily.

Hugbell watched ********* walk around her, trying not to move as the cat did. "That's a mouthful." She said when ********* said her name. It really was, Sailor Chibi Hugbell...
Hugbell Squeaked when the equipment shook. This was not good, she wondered if she should Hazard a glance out of the bubble window or... do something else. "What do we do?"
She looked at the Cat, she wasn't quite as scared. However, at the same time, it was unfortunate she didn't know what to do. She looked at the bear in her arms and hugged him just a little bit tighter.

Game plans, ********* was already working on it. Before offering up the plan, the feline pointed out "You have to be brave, Chibi Hugbell." With a firm nod, the feline then went to sharing the plan quietly enough for the Youma to not hear.
"I need you to go onto the playground equipment and go up to the tallest slide. Slide down it. I will also be trying to get the youma's attention. If all goes well, I should be bringing it up onto the same slide after you. I need you to get down the slide quickly. I am going to be jumping down rather than sliding down."
There was a pause.
"You will need to hold out the teddy bear and call out 'Hugbell Teddy Comfy Catches'... I should be able to take care of the rest from there..."
What was this it could hear? The creature's scaley ears wriggled a bit, catching the sound, but not the words. Obviously dinner was nearby. With a few heavy stomps, the Youma approached one of the tunnels, and rather suddenly stuck its head into the tube, jaws snapping at the pair. It was almost like Jurassic Park, except this dinosaur had ears and cat-like eyes.
"GO GO GO!!!" the manx shouted before bounding towards the end where the Youma was starting to attack.

She nodded, "I'll try." She said softly, being brave was going to take a good deal of effort for the small child. She listened to the cat and nodded, "Right, tallest slide."
Hugbell didn't like Jurassic Park, It was a scary movie, at least to her. When the head popped in she almost screamed, if it wasn't scaly it might've been cute... but it wasn't...
She took off without the need of the mentioned Go, Go, Go from *********. Even in the movie they ran from the ugly things, so it made sense to Hugbell that she do the same. Tallest Slide... Chibi Hugbell thought as she raced along to the slides.
She seemed to be going faster than the last time she ran... that was sorta a bonus. Why does it have to be mean Dinosaur Monsters... She was scaling the slide as fast as she could and at the top she paused to see where ********* and the Dino-thing was. She needed a baring of where the cat and dino were, to make sure they weren't going to run by the bottom of the slide.
The last thing Hugbell wanted was to get caught by that dino-thing with ears....

The moment the child-senshi ran off to do as told, ********* made certain to get the Youma's attention. The Youma looked as if it was about to pull its head back and begin its pursuit of the child, but ********* was quick to act. With all of her claws extended on her right paw, she dashed in and began to scratch at the cheek of the beast that was just beginning to turn away.
The cat nearly lost a paw that day, for the moment the claw cut into the relatively weak scales, jaws were snapping in her direction instead.
"That's right... I'd make a pretty nice appetizer, right?" She backed away, keeping her eye on the prehistoric looking youma. The creature squatted down just enough so it could follow the cat through the kiddie tunnel.
"Alright..."
The creature was pawing at the ground with its scaley feet.
"Let's get this parade moving!"
********* ran out of the tunnel, with a rather large youma chasing after her. She might have been round, but she was able to stay just barely out of the way of those snapping jaws behind her.
Her path was to soon be following after Chibi Hugbell. All she could hope was that she had given the girl enough time to meet her mark.

When she saw that ********* and the Dino-thing was right behind the kitty. The good thing was they weren't coming where she was going to be standing. So she slide down and called out the phrase that ********* had given her.
"Hugbell Teddy Comfy Catches~!!!" She called out holding the bear as she did, watching the bear with wide eyes as it began to expand. She stood there waiting for the kitty hoping the raptor didn't change directions at the last minute.

********* was definitely going to be asking for that cookie after all of this. She was honestly earning it right now. She could feel hot puffs of air escaping from the teeth chomping in her direction. It was just enough to push her into moving even faster than her poor legs were adjusted to.
Nimbly, the tailless feline ran up the play equipment, careful to keep her claws tucked in so she wouldn't accidentally snag and trip against the ground. She hopped up the various levels, hearing a certain youma trailing after her without any grace to speak of.
When she made it to the place where the tallest slide was, the feline didn't hesitate to slide through the safety bars and then jumped. Her body squirmed to face the sky rather than land on her feet. Hopefully Chibi Hugbell had made her mark. ********* forehead star seemed to glow slightly, and from the corner of her eye, she managed to catch a glimpse of the youma hopping up onto the safety railing, as if it was also preparing to jump.

The bear was almost too big for Hugbell to hold as it expanded. She was trying to watch ********* as well, Little eyes just barely peeking over the expanded bear. He was almost as big as a mattress!
She noticed the star on ********* head looked like it was glowing. How... odd, then again there was a talking cat.

Fortunately, ********* was such a small target, it would have honestly taken a lot of work for her to miss the giant teddy-mattress. As the pale feline had planned, she landed on her back against the large bear cushion.
This was too easy. With a triumphant screech, the Youma leaped up and prepared to claim its appetizer, which was so conviniently lined up next to the main course.
The bait had been taken. With a large feline smile, the manx announced "I hope you enjoy ********* Special Surprise!" Now that the youma was in the air with its mouth open, ********* released a pulse of energy straight at the youma.
The strange prehistoric monster was definitely caught by surprise as this blast of energy literally shot into its mouth. There wasn't any time to react, and by the time it realized what had happened, it was too late. Within seconds, the Youma had been turned into dust from the inside out.
As what remained of the creature fell gently down from the sky, ********* sneezed.

Hugbell's eyes where wide with wonder as she watched ********* landing on her back on the giant teddy. It was when the dino appeared that Chibi Hugbell closed her eyes almost in fear.
A second later there was dust and the teddy was shrinking rapidly. Coughing the senshi clad in pastel yellow grabbed the cat awkwardly to keep her from falling on the ground and dragging the teddy away from the dust.
She coughed a little more having gotten youma dust in her mouth before sneezing. She sniffled and sat the cat down and dusted off her bear, when she could speak again, "W-what was that dino monster thing with ears?" She'd sat down on a rabbit spring ride thing, looking at the cat curiously. "Do you have a name?" She asked secondly, obviously the cat knew hers.

Rather than initially answer the child's question, the feline merely glanced back to her after rolling off the bear. "You were going to share something with me earlier... I'd like some now please, thank you." After all that work, ********* deserved a treat!
Rather than remain laying there with her belly towards the sky, the small cat then rolled back to her feet. "Of course I have a name. I go by the name of *********. It's nice, short, and easy to remember." Despite being on four legs, she leaned forward, as if bowing. "And that, my dear child, was a Youma."
Standing herself back up to her proper height, she elaborated a bit. "Though, at the same time, not all Youma look like that one. What they do is what distinguishes them from other creatures. They essentially steal people's souls... or specifically, their starseeds." It was a bit harder to explain this to a child, and for a moment, the manx seemed to try and think of a way to continue explaining it.
Wait... this is a child...
"Well, first things first... let's have you change back to your normal self. Just think of yourself back in your normal clothing and then we can continue from there." There was a slight pause before the cat likewise added "Oh, and what is your name when you are not Sailor Chibi Hugbell? It would be nice to know."

Hugbell was looking for the cookie. "Um.... I don't have my backpack..." She said softly. It disappeared when she changed into Chibi Hugbell.
She watched the cat, "*********. It's nice to meet you." She said with a smile. As she listened to *********/>"... Starseeds?" She said tilting her head, "Their souls... are starseeds...." She shook her head, "Mama's family wouldn't be happy to know that." She said softly.
She paused as ********* told her to think of herself being back in her normal clothing. School clothing.... she thought, trying to picture herself as... well herself. It took a second but then Istas was standing there pen and cell phone in hand and her backpack on her back.
"Oh... neat." She said softly as she dug out the cookie. "It's Istas." She said softly offering the cookie to *********>

The feline's features softened (though they had never really been very harsh in the first place). Normally she would have gone straight at the cookie, but at the moment, she felt there was something much more important to say.
"A starseed is a very important thing. Protect the starseeds of yourself and of the others around you. Without a starseed, a person perishes." Her paw reached out, and rather than placing it on the treat, the small cat placed it on the girl's hand as best as she could.
"Always do your very best, Istas."
