"It's hard to argue with knowledge. But... I do agree in wishing that people could settle matters peacefully. We can't change the past, but try and change the future." She said idealistically.
When Nico said 'butler,' Nari couldn't help but go slightly wide-eyed. He had a butler? But before she could say anything, Nico pointed outside. She followed his finger and stared outside. Surely, the car would be behind the limo... right?
... Right?
The young man that stepped out though. Unmistakeably, it was Nathan, given what Nico had said earlier. "That's your brother?" She was, to say the least, awed. He did look quite like a prince.

The door of the limo opened and a umbrella poked up over the hub. It snapped open smartly, sending raindrops flying chaotically through the air. Nathan stepped out of the limo with the umbrella in one hand. With his other he swept his fingers though his hair and brushed his bangs from before his eyes. Nicohlas smiled brightly as he watched his brother approaching the doors of the library.
"Yes." Nicohlas replied with a smile. "That is Nathan." He answered her. It amused him a little bit how people always responded when they first met his brother. Usually it was like Nari's response, or a sense of guarded nature.
Nathan pushed the door open and he slid inside while expertly twisting the umbrella about. "Nicholas, are you prepared to return home?" Nathan called across to Nicohlas, then paused as he slid his silver gaze towards Nari.
Nico rolled his chair towards Nathan and nodded his head. "Yup, I'm good for the next two days." He turned his chair about to look back to Nari. "Do you want a ride home Nari?" His eyes turned back to his elder brother. "This is my friend Nari, can we give her a ride?"
Nathan looked at his little brother with only a faint touch of amusement in his features. "I see no reason why not...Miss Nari is it?"

When Nathan entered, Nari jumped up and smiled. "Y... yes, I'm Kaminari Laxdale." She slowly extended her hand to him. "It's a pleasure to meet you. Please, call me Nari." At the offer of a ride, she flushed a little. "I wouldn't want to be a bother." She said, but looked fondly at Nicohlas and smiled. "If it's no trouble, I'd be quite appreciative."
She just hoped she could remember her way home. She'd only been in town a couple days.

Nathan allowed his lips to curl upwards into a slim smile as Nari would leap up and actually stammer in her introduction. Nathan reached his hand out to take her offered one. Instead of merely shaking it though, he bent at the waist and lifted her hand up so he could gently kiss the back of her fingers in greeting. As he stood back up Nico chimed up.
"I am sure it would be no problem at all! Please Nathan? It's raining so hard." he asked his brother. After straitening up Nathan gave a slight nod of his head and moved a step towards the doors. "Of course, we would be more then happy to offer you a ride Miss Kaminari." He replied before stepping back towards doors. Nathan gave them a small push open, then snapped the umbrella up. "Come Nico. Let's get you to the limo first. Miss Kaminari, would you mind waiting here for me to return with the umbrella? I would hate to see someone as lovely as you drenched while waiting for Nico to get into the limo."

The compliment was completely lost on her as she realized she hadn't collected her umbrella when she checked out her books. "No, not at all. Though thank you for reminding me I need to grab my umbrella." She laughed a little. "I'll be right back. And I'll see you in the car, ok Nico?" She smiled happily at him.
She'd wait until they were heading to the car before she'd slip to the check desk to fetch her ladybug umbrella and be waiting in the lobby for Nathan to return.

While Nari returned to the desk to get her umbrella Nathan escorted Nicholas to the limo. The driver exited the limo to aid in moving Nico from the chair to the interior. Nathan picked his brother up, and with a bit of effort placed him inside on the seat, the driver folded up the chair and slid it into the limo beside Nicohlas. With the interior of the limo being so roomy, it made it easier for the large chair to be placed in a way that it would be out of the way.
Nathan returned to the doors of the library then to escort Nari to the limo. His hand beckoned her and he motioned for her to step under the umbrella with him.

She smiled as Nathan returned to the lobby. "Thank you." She smiled up at him before joining him under the umbrella. She hadn't shared an umbrella with someone in a really long time, and ended up fidgeting a little, even though it was just a short walk to the car.
She thanked him again before she slipped inside. She'd never been in a limo before, and the interior was larger than her mom's car! But she tried to compose herself. "It was very nice of you to offer me a ride home."

As he escorted Nari across to the limo, Nathan casually moved to place his hand very lightly against the small of her back. "I should be thanking you Miss Kaminari. It is not often my brother makes friends and I am pleased to see you to your home."
Nathan took the time to fold the umbrella and slid into the limo after Nari. He moved in to sit beside her while keeping Nicohlas across from him. After he closed the door he motioned to the driver. "What is your address Miss?" he asked.
Nicohlas buckled himself into his seat, then moved his leg's to one side so he could drag his book bag closer to him. As he began to unzip it, Nathan made a small clicking sound with his tongue. Nico, with a slightly ashamed expression, zipped the bag back up. "Sorry." He murmured under his breath.

The hand on her back brought a faint pink to her cheeks. It was nice. She was convinced that Nathan and Nico really were modern day princes. Nari had to dig out her ID to double check. "West Sea drive." She said softly before giving her house number. "We... just moved in. Haven't memorized the address yet." She blushed a little as she explained. "And really, please, just call me Nari." She assured Nathan.
When Nico went for his bag, and then was promptly stilled by his brother. "Do you read a lot?" she asked softly, curious. It seemed like he had several books, right? He had so many on the table at the library. But he was set for 2 days?

Nathan turned to ensure the driver knew where they were going, then he pressed the button to make the window slide up between them and the driver. " As you wish...Nari." Nathan murmured softly in response. He relaxed back in his seat and watched Nico's flushed expression.
Nicohlas nodded his head up and down and gently patted the book bag. "I spend most of my time reading since I can't get involved in any physical activities like Nathan does."
Nathan piped up beside Nari to add in explanation. "We have few guests that come to the mansion as well, so Nicohlas does not have many diversions. We would prefer him to read then spend time watching television."

She smiled at Nathan when he called her Nari. That just sounded more natural to her. "Well, it's not like there's ever anything worth watching on tv anyways. So it's not as though you're missing much." She laughed. "Though, If you ever wanted to get out of the house, Nico, I could give you my number, you could call me any time." She offered happily. "Oh, any time but when I'm at practice." She sheepishly scratched her cheek. "But... You'd be welcome to come to my practice if you wanted to."
When they pulled up to her house, she thanked them several times for driving her before she slipped out of the limo. Her ladybug umbrella unfurled to protect her as she skipped up to her front door and tried the knob. Nothing. She rang the door and knocked. Neither of them yielded anything. Nari was locked out.

Nicholas nodded his head and he smiled a bit more at Nari. "I would love to have your number. " He agreed. As Nari would speak with Nico, Nathan spent the drive watching Nari herself. He enjoyed seeing his brother smiling and full of such delight. Nari did not seem to him to be the sort he'd need to watch too closely around his brother. All the same...
Nico and Nathan both looked up as the car slowed and the door unlocked. "Ah, this is your stop. It was a pleasure riding with you Nari." Nathan spoke in farewell.
Nico also piped up, his hand lifting and waving. "I hope to catch you in the halls at school Nari! Bye!" Both boy's sat silently and watched Nari exit the limo. Once the door was closed, Nathan chuckled softly. "We forgot to get her number."
Nico looked at Nathan, then gave a little laugh. "I am sure we can get it when we see her at school. It is raining too hard to go chasing after her for it now." Nathan nodded his head in agreement and reached forwards to give the little window a knock to tell the driver to carry on. However, out of the corner of his eye he saw Nari pressing the bell. He paused, then pressed the window button down. "Is there something wrong?" He called over the fall of the rain.

She had no idea where her mother had gone. But she would have been content walking around town for a while. But Nathan's voice made her turn around. "Oh... No, not really. It just seems my mom is out... And we only have one key." She shrugged. "I'm locked out it seems." Now she felt awkward. She could very well have just spend the afternoon wandering... if they had driven away. But now would they feel obligated to wait with her? She didn't want to trouble them.

Nathan glanced at Nicohlas after Nari would explain her situation.
"We can't leave her here, she'll catch a cold." Nico whispered softly to Nathan. Nathan mused his options over, which really were few, then he gestured towards Nari while opening the door back up.
"Why don't you come home with us? You can call and leave a message for your mother to call our house when she get's home. You don't want to be stuck out in the rain, and I personally would enjoy the opportunity to get to know you better." He called to her with a welcoming smile.
Who knew? Perhaps he could charm her a bit more and get more then a number from her?

"Oh I really wouldn't want to ... be ... a bother." Her protest sort of died on her lips as she looked at her new friends. "I suppose you wouldn't have offered if it was going to be an issue, huh?" She blushed a little before hesitantly walking back towards the limo.
"I... I guess this would give us more time to get to know each though." She beamed happily having quite enjoyed their company.
