Shehk tried to not sneer after Sin when the Succubus snapped at her. Honestly, Shehk had been nice about the insult she'd just been given by Sin when she came out onto the field in uniform. Because really, it had been quite a big one. Either way, she crinkled her nose and simply wrote a note on the edge of the form she'd been given by the demoness, pausing in her notation when she noticed Emily teetering out to the field with the Haterade.

"Fantastic, Emily! Good thinking!" she beamed in agreement, almost in synchronization with Tack, pausing to look at his uniform, quirking a half-smile and shaking her head. "You know I wouldn't let you get away with that if this were practice." she stated, nabbing the scaretie off of the bunching to correct the snazzy belly-dancer look that the Cerberus brother was sporting.

"Now, I'm going to assume that everybody who has an interest in trying out is here. Then again, now that I've said that I'm sure we're bound to pick up a few stragglers." There was a pause and she made another face. "Or a few spectators." Boo. Either way, she tucked away all of the information on her clipboard, making sure it was firmly attached (as to not blow away in the wind), before looking to Naja.

Naja was definitely the better one at communicating between them. Not to say Shehk couldn't do the same, but sometimes all that came out of Shehk's mouth of 'b***h b***h b***h' instead of 'Explanation of bitchbitchbitch'.

"I think a good place to start is to make sure everybody is stretched out, yeah? A lack of stretching may cause some accidents later if we don't do it now."

Kasumi fidgeted a bit, pondering what to do about Fearleader Captain Shehk's request for stretching. She was a ghost! She had no muscles to stretch, even though she wanted to comply with Shehk's orders. She raised a hand to ask a question, and quickly put it down again. She wasn't in class! Should she mimic what everyone else was doing? Would that be the way to go? She scratched her head and chewed on a ghostly lip. The last thing she wanted was to make a bad impression on the Fearleading captain.

"Umm..." she started, pulling at the hems of the shirt she was wearing specifically for practice."What would you have me do instead...?"

It was an honest question and the last thing Kasumi wanted to do was stand around and look disinterested.

Tess had said nothing throughout the exchange between the demon and the captains. She kept her thoughts to a minimum, determination set in her eyes, focused on showing that Yes, she can follow orders. And that Yes, she will be giving her all! So when Shehk mentioned stretching, Tess nodded and carefully lowered herself down to the ground a bit away from the other girls. Her wingspan was generous. They had to be if they were to keep her aloft after all.

Carefully, she would fold her wings in and out, making sure not to hit anyone and that the clawed tips didn't dig into the ground.

Hearing Kasumi's question, Tess couldn't help but wonder what ghosts would need stretching for. But if the ghost girl were to spy Tess' expression, she would see the small but encouraging smile Tess was giving her in the midst of neck rolls.

Sin was determined to just let the incident go, so she'd rubbed them wrong, it was a pity but it couldn't be helped. She was changed and out there and she relaxed when Shehk had them start stretching. Sin always moved with the fluid grace of her kind, but when she started to stretch it was even more obvious. She arched her body into back, forth, side, twists, turns. She slid down into splits and started to arch backwards then forward again to touch her fingers to her toes. It was almost disturbing to see the way to could touch and reach almost every part of herself with only a smirk. The outfit didn't really leave much to the imagination either, but it didn't seem to bother sin.

When she felt she had stretched out her lower body enough she stood and stretched her arms and wings out. Upon stretching her wings out fully it became apparent that they were useless for flight, sadly until Sin was able to unlock her true demon form she would be unable to use them as intended. She rotated her head in small circles and rolled her shoulders back with a soft little moan as she felt the muscles tense and relax.

She glanced over at Kasumi curiously, the ghost was sweet, nice but she seemed to rather often at a loss about what to do with herself when physical challenges such as running or stretching were presented. Well, she'd probably feel equally out of place if someone told her to float through a wall or something else ghostly.

((During a portion of the try-outs (which will be announced), there will be a dice rolling element, in order to determine whether your character can do some of the basic stunts that will be required for Fearleaders. That's just to keep things fair.))

'Aww' was the expression on Naja's face when Shehk corrected Tack's uniform. Thackery was just so jacking adorable, and the alteration to the uniform was downright cute. "Hey Tack. Why don't you ssshow thesse ladiess how it'sss done?" the gorgon said with a fanged smile. "You look prepared." She would've commented on Shehk's decision (alas!) but she wanted to present the (potential) new Fearios with a united front. "Now, here'ss what we're going to have you all do. Firsssst off, get ssstretched out and limber." She paused to make certain that everyone was following Shehk's orders, before moving on.

"Following that, you'll have the chance to sshow usss if you can do sssome bassic ssstunts, thingss that are required to be on the team." Naja raised an eyebrow, and thought over Kasumi's question. "Sssince you are not corporeal, I would like to know how much you can affect the physsical world. It may be vital during a match to be able to lift sssomeone and you sshould be able to usse the pom-poms. What would you ordinarily do to prepare yourssself for physsical activity..." And Naja had to check the sheet-- "Kasumi?"

It seemed that so far, no one else had any questions, so she continued on with her little speech. "After you've sshowed uss that you meet our bassic requirementss, you will have the opportunity to impresss us with a routine of your own, if you have prepared one in advance. We will have musssic available, if you need it." While she didn't expect that everyone had prepared something for the try-outs, she would be quite disappointed if no one had gone that extra mile. It was fairly standard Fearleading stuff, really.

She was late. She was late because, okay, she had been staring.

For a while now, dressed in black gauchos with a loose orange button-down top, Davinica had been staring. It's not like she was far away from the tryouts at all: the monster was no further away from them than the next rise. She had a clear view of the practice field, the practice starting, her prospective teammates, and her surprisingly serious coaches. She had no problem with any of 'em thus far, and recognized...a few (alright two, and both demons - bats' crap). No, the thing that kept Davi crouching on the balls of her paws, arms tangling over her thighs and clicking her claws together uselessly and staring was all nerves.

Nerves that looked at the girls (and boy) on lining up for tryouts, and knowing that she wasn't like them. At all. That looked at the uniform that succubus ghoul showed up in and cringed because there were no pants on the end of that. That winced at the mere mention of the of the word 'Feario'. That wanted to leap up, run off to the bogs and roll around in some muck purely to contest the activity happening in front of her.

The wolf took a long breath, stretching her legs as she rose. Look, it wouldn't be that bad. Someone just got laid into - so the squad wasn't all fun and games, right? The coaches wouldn't be playing around with this team. Davi picked up the pace as she jogged closer to the field. They were serious. They were a challenge. They were a sport. They were legit.

Or, she could just have a few wires off in her head that made this seem even remotely like a good idea. Yeah, that sounded more like it. Mater Luna, fearleading? Of course, she wanted to do it, but this was the kind of thing the pack would never let her live down.

Gev would be proud, though.

Or screw Uncle Gev, you're crazy and parts of your brain are broken which is why you DO THESE CRAZY THINGS, GOOFY WOLFIE.

"Uh... Hi. Shekh, right? Sorry for disrupting, but may I fill out one of those sheets...?"

Flushing with pride, Emily gave another salute to the co-captains and beamed at Thackery. Two thumbs up! Not just one! Two! Obviously she was onto something with this whole "I can be useful by carrying things!" - strategy.

Taking her place by the cerb boy, Emily began stretching with enthusiasm. Though not too much enthusiasm, as one trip to Ms. Cricket's office for over-doing stretches was...more than enough for this witch.

Voice low, and arms stretched out, she began, "I think your uniform looks really nice either way, Tack." Having missed the cause of it, but still noticing something between Shehk and a pretty succubus that was trying out, she continued, "It's nice that everyone's becoming friends already!"

Glancing over at the demon, Emily paused and stared, before whispering, "...she's really bendy!"

Shehk seemed to be content with the moving on into other things, taking the form from -.. a quick glance at the form told her the name was 'Davinica'. That was a nice name!

"You're fine. We're just getting started right now. But timeliness in the future will be something I'd take into account." she noted. Honestly, one could say that Shehk and Naja were being -nice- for the situation at hand. They weren't going to hol anybody who to SUPER AMAZING HIGH Fd;akls standards if they hadn't done some of these things before.

"Just don't stretch yourselves out farther than you think you can go. Only push yourself a bit at a time or we might have to try and repair something that won't be very pleasant."

Either way, Shehk seemed inclined to give people at least SOME example of proper stretching, starting off standing and making a point to see how close to her knees she could get her nose.. which was pretty much right on top of them, as she'd spent all summer mastering her own flexibility.

Hold that in plaacceee for a while.

Alright, one easy stretch down, she'd just move on to demonstrate ANOTHER one.... because not everybody had spent their entire lives waiting for the day they'd be able to stretch like a pro. SHE certainly hadn't. Heck, she hadn't even been that flexible before being given the prestigious FEARleader position. It was mostly enthusiasm, energy, and a good sense of balance that had helped her in anything.

BUT SHE WAS A PRO NOW, RITE?

Once upon a time, a certain werewolf tried out for the FEARleading team. She didn't get on, but that was okay – a brief stint in gymnastyicks fulfilled Red's teenage crave for attention. At least it did until she joined the Hunting team. Granted that team didn't have short skirts either...

Either way, this FEARleading team was certainly better than that other one! Why, even now it looked like they were getting started! Red grinned to herself as she approached the field carrying her trusty collapsible lawnchair under one arm and a box in the other, setting up in a place that offered a good view of what was going on but not too close as to be disruptive or to get into anyone's way.

The gym teacher looked a bit disappointed to see that they were just now warming up. It looked like the more entertaining trying part of the try-outs were still to come. At least she still had time to run off and make a bowl of popcorn before the good stuff began...

"Heh..." Davinica couldn't help the smirk that touched her face as she ran a hand across the back of her neck: she'd started to hackle at the mild rebuke. On time, though. She'd definitely work on that.

Handing in her form, the garou took the time to put some distance between the speaking Fear Captains and herself. She picked out a clear space, keeping an amused eye on Shekh - would they be required to be that flexible? It would be fun to try, less fun to learn, she figured. Nonetheless, Davi launched into a few, easy hunting stretches. She lengthened her arms, her legs; bent arms over her head in a long arch. And in the process, her ears twitched as she overheard the the Reaper's (it was Device, right?) comment.

Davi let her eyes wander away from her captain for a moment, biting back the urge to wolf-whistle. The succubus was really bendy.
