"Oh I don't know about that, but thanks Tartalo." He blushed at the compliment but appreciated it non the less as he rubbed the back of his head out of embarrassment. With a smile he nodded agreeing. He didn't know the campus that well yet either, he knew that when he started taking Airi out on walks more, he would figure all the different sections on campus out gradually.
He watched as her cloak with a mind of it's own clothed her instantly and her weapon jumped in to her hand making her appear as a fine, proper reaper. That was amazing. Reapers really did show beauty in a lot of things, skill and talent. He had never had chance to witness it before but with her he had been able to understand things about them more and most of all let the cautious guard between their races slip without even noticing it.
He felt like he was around someone he had known years not an hour. He shook his head gently, now pondering the question she asked. "Lets see, my family. Hmm. . ." He tried to pull things from the back of his mind, he hadn't really thought about them since moving in to his dorm.
"They're not that interesting honestly. They like to hold 'expectations' I guess because they want the family to be successful, they want the ghost name to raise in the ranks, as do any though. Fighting to be at the top all the time, it's almost like a war. Otherwise, they like to enchant people almost like a circus act with their original form and love to get people lost just out of fun." He had to chuckle at the next thought. "It backfires almost every time because if someone gets lost, we pretty much all get lost."
His family was no way flashy in the talents that her family had but they were more, live in death and get the most out of it kind of people but with strict attitude towards scaring and school. They were a bit loco now he thought about it otherwise he never paid them much attention. Wait, was he opening up to her? It was like a shock-wave through him. How did that happen? Without him even knowing. . . He looked at her from the corner of his eyes, a little puzzled.
With a small smile he lifted a hand and spread out one finger, on the tip of it a small blue, bright ball started to form and glow circling it slowly as a wispy trail flared out behind it.

Lilura listened quietly as Daisuke talked about his family. They sounded interesting. She giggled at the thought of them getting lost along with the humans they were leading astray. She admired that they wanted to raise their name and ghostdom up higher. Reapers felt similar when it came to their rank amongst the demons. She blinked when he raised his hand up then her yellow eyes grew wide as the ball appeared.
"Wow! Oh wow it's almsot like Uncle Darnio with his lightning!" she clapped. Yeah she was easily amused.
"Very impressive young man," Tartalo nodded.
"Oh here! I'll show you mine!" she put her stuff down and dug out a pencil and paper from her bag. At least with this she knew it would work. Tartalo hopped over to Daisuke.
"Ah this is her best spell. It helps her take notes," he nodded.
Lilura put the pencil and paper on the ground then stood a few feet from it. She held her arms out from her sides and began to chant. A yellow circle formed in a two foot diameter around her. Inside the circle were zodiac and magic symbols. They slowly began to spin around her as the witch chanted. The pencil began to glow and a small symbol appeared on it. It was the symbol on her emblem. The circle below her lit up brightly, her eyes glowed yellow. Suddenly the pencil jumped up and stood infront of her. The glowing died down and the circle disppeared. She held her hand down to the pencil and it jumped up. She held up the paper and it began to write.
"Hello. I am Pencil."
"heheheh! See!" she giggled as she held up the paper.

He smiled at how they praised him even if that was a figment of what he could do, it was a simple distraction away from his family talk and apparently, it worked for the better. He bowed as the orb circled Lilura, chuckling at them.
Her over eagerness made him straighten up and swirl his gaze round. Tartalo explaining that this was her easy way of taking notes. Man, she had it easy if she didn't have to do them herself. It was a good job they had agreed on being study partners! He watched, feeling numb as she performed her magic, the symbols and glowing features made it so he couldn't look away, you could even see the wispy fog behind him as it illuminated a small radius of their surroundings.
He stepped forwards, mouth gaping at what was happening. Then shut it, staring blankly as the pencil jumped up and wrote on the sheet of paper, then she showed it to him. He applauded with a grin.
"Wow, that is spooky awesome! You should teach me that trick." He winked playfully. Of course he knew that would be impossible but he hoped it would show her how amazed he was.

Lilura giggled and blushed a bit at the praise. She always felt a little silly when she glowed. Sometimes she wondered what it would be like if she could just say an incantation and her spell just cast without the light show. But her mother had explained that giving something a form of free will was very strong magic so the circle was needed to control their power. Otherwise they would bring everything around them to life instead of their targeted item.
This was her favorite trick, since pencils could be so useful when they could write by themselves. She held out the pencil to Daisuke.
"Here, you can have it. I have one already, maybe it will be useful. Just tell it what you want it to write, but you have to speak what you want it to say," she explained. "I don't have the skill to let it just know what I want it to write. But it's awesome if you have to write a report because then you can just walk around the room speaking and the pencil writes it down. Just....becareful what you say. It write's down everything."
She remembered that incident where her brothers kept yelling into her room and it wrote down their arguement. Her mother had not been amused.

Daisuke looked at her a little puzzled. She was giving him this? Really? Wow. He felt slightly honored to be given a present. From the first student he had properly met on campus. Now he kind of felt the need to give her something too but what like? He would think on that matter. With a smile he took the pencil from her, slightly nervously as he went a little shy, a blue faint blush on his cheeks.
He took the magical pencil and held it in front of him staring at it. To think it would write down everything he said. He smirked a little and held it between his fingers whilst he shuffled one of his notebooks out in to his palm. Ok pencil. Lets give you a whirl. "Thank you, Lilura. That's really sweet of you." He watched as the pencil wrote down what he said, with a pleased smile before ripping the page and passing it to her.
"Not much but the best I can come up with for now" He chuckled looking at her with a warm smile.

Lilura giggled as she read the paper. She was glad he liked the new pencil. It really was useful since she could make it listen to the teacher and write down everything they said. It also made for a good spy if she left it somewhere and her siblings wanted to talk privately. Yeah she was a regular spy with that pencil and her sibs hated her for it.
"I'm glad you like it. But now you've seen part of my FEAR. I actually just do a simple spell for that since I won't have time to do the full spell you just saw. My fighting spell just makes whatever I'm pointing at move at command," she smiled at the pencil, "It takes a proper spell to give it a mind of it's own."
Of course the pencil wasn't like Tartalo as it didn't have a soul so it couldn't have true will power. It would also obey it's creator or whomever it was given to. Only with a soul could an animated object have free will.

"Yeah, not much time in a battle I guess." He smiled at her, still even if she couldn't give things a mind of it's own quite just yet, her abilities were startling to say the least and he wasn't right certain if he would want a pencil to have free will, imagine all the things it could write then, that he wasn't saying. That would stir a few things up.
He frowned half sided at his own techniques, that were starting to look quite useless. All he could do was throw a couple of bright lights about. Which would really only come in use if there something as silly as a Gremlin invasion.
"It'll come in handy for sure." He answered, sweat dropping at how he could imagine Lilura throwing things at people. Scary thought. A table coming at your head, ouch. He would be careful not to get on her bad side, that was for certain.

"Well after gym class i'm not so sure it's going to work out well. I can just hope to distract whom ever is attacking me and maybe swing Tartalo at them," she giggled a bit. Gym class had sucked so bad. She did not fight, at least not with her fists. That was more of a boy thing and her parents had forebade her to learn any sort of phyiscal attacks. They said the only one she needed to worry about was using Tartalo in the appropriate way.
"I'm not some sort of bat you know," the scythe frowned.
"Yeah but I'm not a boxer, so gotta swing something. Might as well be the big blade thing," she grinned at him while he gave her a displeased look.
"So how do you use your FEAR Daisuke? I know you create balls of light but frankly I can't imagine trying to fight someone with a face full of bright light," she smiled to him.

Daisuke looked between them slowly as they batted comments back and forth at each other, chuckling through amusement at the two of them. "Shes just showing you some hardcore appreciation." His lips settled in to a small smile. At least she would have some use of fighting skills, even if she was to lack use of tartalo.
He blinked at her question. "Never... Really thought too much in to it, I suppose. They really are, just a couple of pretty balls of light." He shrugged, lifting his hand. He concentrated on the tips, one by one they formed small blue balls, the size of marbles, lighting up the area around his hand, including the pale appearance of his ghostly self, looking more blue than normal.
"They can be blinding, hurt the eyes if they're looked directly in to and they can confuse my opponents. Anything physical, I guess I'll just have to get creative. Although, sometimes confusion can also afflict harm upon ones self, depending on the level of it...Or I could always resort to stealing tartalo." He laughed lightly, balling his hand n to a fist as the balls faded out in to nothing. He turned back to Lilura."Still not as interesting as you-" He quickly added. "Two."
