 After scouting the area where the herds grazed; to do so, he followed the scents and trails of the forest. Blade stalked the heard he had been tracking, keeping down wind, finally finding the right moment he pounced making his presence known, catching an elderly buck off guard. His teeth sunk deeply into the back of the creatures neck attempting to kill it. The rest of the heard ran, leaving him with his prey. After a small bit of struggle he had taken the creature down, muzzle and claws covered with blood.
Blade ate a bit of it to lighten his load before he pulled the carcass of the buck over his back. Carrying it back to the den. It was about an hour or two before he had returned with Sun's Meal

Sun almost jumped when Blade entered. She was still nervous but she relaxed right away. She then seen the meal, her stomach growled lowder. But she would not dare touch another krokonas meal without permission, she learned that the hard way. She dared not even look him in the eyes, that always caused an attack.

Sliding the kill off of his back the knight placed it down in front of Sun. "Feel free to eat as much as you want." he replied, "I'm going to go clean myself." Blood had soaked the back of his coat where the buck had laid upon his back. "And you don't need to worry about leaving some for me I already ate." With that he left once more leaving Sun to her peace and quiet while he went off to bath himself within the trickling waters the falls fell into.

Sun was used to getting the scraps, so she was not used to this whole "meat eating" thing. She dug in and ate until she felt like she was going to burst, which wasn't much because she was used to eating very little. her face and paws were now covered in blood. She started to clean herself, being really annoyed at how hard her tongue had to work to get the blood off her snout.
She started to get nervous, what would she talk about when blade gets back?? She rubbed her eyes then just decided to lay in the warmth, it was cold out where she was, nothing warm, she was going to take full advantage of this warmth, and relaxed , ignoring her fear of what to say.

After cleaning the blood scent from his fur Blade returned to the den "If you would like to sleep I'll keep watch," he stated his golden eyes falling upon her form. He did want to scout the land around the den a bit more, get more feel for the land he had just claimed as his for his pack.

Sun yawns. "I think I might do that, but you don't need to watch me, I feel safe here." She said sleepily, resting her head on her paws, she passed out as soon as her head hit her paws. It had been a very busy day today.

He gave a light nod though her eyes were already closed. He'd go out and scout the area for a bit and then come back to check on her. Blade left once more, his paws moving swiftly down the narrow rocky edge and then through the forests. It was time to figure out how far he exactly wanted his territory to span across. Yet his pack was still small, after all it only consisted of two members, Sun and him. He figured he's start small and expand from there as the pack grew.

Sun woke up once, Blade was gone, but fell back asleep fast. She had wasted alot of energy, and was now paying for it. She hoped Blade wouldn't be too upset.

After marking his scent on various trees, rocks and other things, making a borderline of the his territory he returned to the den and laid down next to Sun. He had traveled a great distance today in search of this perfect place, not only that but he found his first member of his pack. This was a start to his completing his dream of running the perfect pack. All he needed now was more members, a pack won't be able to function well with just the two of them.
Holding back a half yawn the male rested his head on his forepaws. Today had been quite the day and now it was time for him to rest. No, he wouldn't sleep, he had told Sun that he would stand guard and keep watch, and that is what he planned on doing. His paws and legs just needed rest.

Sun opens her eyes noticing Blade still awake. "Blade, you can sleep too, I feel really safe here even if you are sleeping." She nuzzled him, then went back to sleep.

"I will in a bit," he assured her softly. He kept his voice to a whisper, not wanting to disturb the rest of her rest. It didn't take long for his golden eyes to slide close as he let the darkness of sleep fall upon him.
